MIDNIGHT GAME Has Some Guy Wilson To Give Away

Director A.D. Calvo is on a role after having his last ‘House Of Dust’ hit, and now his latest highly critical rated ‘Midnight Game’ is hitting the streets next week August 12, 2014. You can now get your hands on a free DVD copy of Midnight Game by just following this link. This site always has tons of blu-ray/dvd/box sets giveaways going, and I know since I get to do all the contest giveaways over there. We’ll soon be having them on this site too so you get to really double your chances this fall!

The story is simple with a young teen (Renee Olstead) being left alone by trusting parents. She has a few friends come over, but as these horror films always show, you can never trust one of those friends to not invite a whole bunch of other people, including that one creepy person who stirs all the crap up. We’ve seen this many time in indie horror flicks, but in Director Calvo’s hands, this story really gives some great payoff thrills and scares. It also gives a great overall creepy feel throughout most of the movie which I always love. So many horror films sent to us to review try to be cute and overcomplicate the plot which winds up just going nowhere.

Calvo takes you somewhere, and in the process, reveals many of the teens dreads and fears that have plagued all teens for decades. Rather than play down to them, he elevates these seeming innocuous fears into the dread that we all felt when we were teenagers. Some of you may not remember those years, but I’ve never forgotten, and obviously, neither has Calvo.

Films like ‘Bloody Mary’ and ‘Candyman’ have used the game of doing a ritual that can invoke a dark evil presence, and ‘Midnight Game’ uses this to great effect also. The rules of this game are very simple: Confess your greatest fear, spill a few drops of your own blood on a note card bearing your name, kill the lights, bring out the candles, knock on a wooden door twenty-two times, wait for some freaky shit to go down. There is, of course, a catch: Those who flub any part of the ritual must chill in a circle of salt from the stroke of twelve until 3:33 a.m. or else risk a visit from the Midnight Man, a murky, ghostly figure who brings his victims’ aforementioned phobias to corporeal life.

Just below is how to enter the ‘Midnight Game’ giveaway contest if you missed the link above.

How To Enter: Just RT the Tweet below or ‘Like’ Or Share the Facebook post and you’re entered and good to go. The giveaway will run through August 11, 2014 and we’ll pick the winner from everyone who RT’s. As with all our contests, if you want to write a review about the movie, we’ll post it on our site so you get some byline attention too! You can also paste this into the comment area below which will send it to you Twitter or Facebook page. Oh, the decisions and choices you get!

[box size=”large” border=”full”]Midnight Game Synopsis:

In this eerie chiller inspired by true events, Olstead stars as a partying teen whose friends decide to perform an ancient pagan ritual found online called ‘The Midnight Game’: Candles are lit. A drop of blood is spilled. Your worst fear is confessed and an entity is summoned. But if the rules are not followed exactly, punishment is promised. Tonight, the game is not being taken seriously. A demonic horror has been unleashed, and now, even daylight cannot stop the nightmares that may destroy them all. Are you ready for the arrival of “The Midnight Man?”

Starring: Guy Wilson, Renee Olstead, Shelby Young, Valentina de Angelis, Spencer Daniels

Most Overrated NFL Players Of 2014

If I were an NFL player I certainly would not want to make a list involving overrated players. Making the list does not mean that these players are at some epic level of suck however. It just means they are not quite as good as they are proclaimed to be.

Maybe some of these players are media darlings who make it hard for sports reporters to disparage their play. Brett Favre was a great example of that, as he would get put up there with the all time great QBs because NFL analysts loved the guy. He was very good but not ‘all time great’. This list is full of good players as well, just not as good as they are portrayed.

ben tate most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Ben Tate has been a good backup running back for the Texans. That made him a hot free agent so the Browns gave him a suitcase full of cash. Being the #1 running back will show how good he really is now that he will carry the load, game in and game out.
colin kaepernick most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Colin Kaepernick is a great NFL player but I am not sold on him being a great quarterback just yet. He can run, yes. But that won’t work longterm. And he benefits greatly from QB guru Jim Harbaugh being his coach. Also a top two NFL defense with a terrific running back and line doesn’t hurt.
jay cutler most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Jay Cutler gets hyped up quite a bit for someone who stays hurt and has not won anything in this league. Rex Grossman was the Bears’ QB in their last Super Bowl appearance, so what is Cutler’s excuse?
tony romo most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Tony Romo is not overrated in the regular season or fantasy football. He is awesome on paper. But he has yet to put the Cowboys into playoff promised land, so he must be lacking something. That ‘something’ separates legends from very good players.
julian edelman bulge most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Julian Edelman benefits from having the greatest quarterback of the past twenty years throwing to him. He would be just another guy without Tom Brady.
eli manning most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Eli Manning has to make the list after such a dreadful 2013 season. He threw 27 interceptions last season. I know he has won two Super Bowls, but he appears to be on his way downhill.
eric decker on knees most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Eric Decker really impressed the Jets with his play in Denver. His days of 80 plus catches are over though, now that Mike Vick and Geno Smith will be tossing the ball in his general vicinity.
rob gronkowski bulge most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Rob Gronkowski is a freaky athlete who is a threat each time he steps on the football field. Problem is that he steps on the field less and less. As a bonus he acts a fool off the field. The guy is just not a professional.
mike wallace most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Mike Wallace is very fast, but you would think he was Usain Bolt by the way analysts talk him up. If he were the threat he is proclaimed to be, he would have double digit TDs each year. Good, not great.
robert griffin iii most overrated nfl players 2014 images
  1. Robert Griffin III is not in the same class as Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck. Griffin is fun to watch but he runs too much, gets hit too often, and fumbles on a regular basis. The so-called experts are still in love with him though.

THE FLASH Teases Barry Allen’s Tight Suit Power

Naturally, the CW wants to expand even more of its superpowers from The Arrow to it’s latest upcoming superhero show, The Flash, starring Grant Gustin. They’ve done a sly teaser months ago with both their guys, but this teaser is all about Barry Allen and his superpowers along with that tight suit.

It’s a quick 30 seconds, but the CW is making sure we know that their visuals will be quite appealing as this guy is super super speedy. From this short segment, it looks pretty good visually. It’s great to see John Wesley Shipp back in the series, but fans won’t get to see him in that tight suit like they did back in the early 90’s when he donned it.

The Flash will premiere on The CW Tuesday, October 7, 2014 and also stars Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker, Rick Cosnett, Candice Patton, Tom Cavanagh, John Wesley Shipp and Carlos Valdes. Check out the cool visuals in the teaser below.

If you’ve not heard about it yet, here’s the official synopsis of the show:

[box]After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become …The Flash.

Who’ll Be 2014 Biggest Winners In European Soccer Leagues?

After a pulsating World Cup, the domestic season is finally back and it looks set to be another great year of European football action.

real madrid top bulge european soccer leagues winners 2014 images

There have been some big moves in the summer transfer window while certain clubs will be benefitting from the performances of their players in Brazil – here’s a look at some of the biggest potential winners in Europe.

Real Madrid

2014 has been a special year for Los Blancos – winning the Copa del Rey while finally ending a long wait for La Decima, Carlo Ancelotti’s side will now be aiming for a successful defense of their Champions League crown whilst also targeting La Liga. And they may just do that.

Last year’s big summer signing, Gareth Bale didn’t take part in the World Cup and so, was fully rested and is getting the pre-season training he lacked last season. A trio of World Cup stars have also been bought in James Rodriguez, Keylor Navas and Toni Kroos.

In $80 million Rodriguez, they have the star of the World Cup and the annual big name signing that a club like Madrid are accustomed to who will galvanize the team.

Navas – just 27-years-old – is far from his prime but is certainly one of the most talented goalkeepers in the world. His displays in the World Cup were phenomenal with Costa Rica conceding just 3 goals in 5 games in Brazil, and he’ll no doubt, be the long term goalkeeper of Madrid for the next 5-7 years.

Lastly, Bayern Munich’s Kroos was signed – a possible replacement for the perhaps departing Sami Khedira – the 24-year-old German brings creativity, drive and discipline in Madrid’s midfield and is an astute piece of business for just €25 million.

While current La Liga champions, Atletico Madrid pulled off a miracle to win the league last May, it’s highly unlikely they’d do the same this season, having lost the likes of Diego Costa, David Villa, Filipe Luis and Thibaut Courtois.

As for Barcelona, they’ve lost Cesc Fabregas, Victor Valdes and Alexis Sanchez while captain, Carles Puyol has retired.

Luis Suarez who is banned for 4 months, Ivan Rakitic, Claudio Bravo, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Jeremy Mathieu have all been signed but doubts still remain whether the Blaugrana can mount a serious title challenge given how much change has occurred at the Nou Camp. There’s also the factor of Neymar who is currently recovering from the injury he suffered at the World Cup.

Hence, Real Madrid are the big winners when it comes to Spain ahead of the new season.

Chelsea

3rd place in the league and a Champions League semifinal finish would be great success for most managers – except for Jose Mourinho. Having now gone two seasons without a major trophy, the “Special One” will be looking to challenge on all four fronts this season with Chelsea.

The Stamford Bridge outfit have not messed about this summer, having offloaded Romelu Lukaku, Demba Ba, David Luiz and Patrick van Aanholt for an approximate $95 million while Frank Lampard, Samuel Eto’o and Ashley Cole all left on free transfers.

The incomings have seen Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa, Filipe Luis and Didier Drogba arrive for an approximate $91 million. Not to mention that arguably the world’s best young goalkeeper in Thibaut Courtois has returned from his loan spell at Atletico Madrid, meaning that Chelsea have significantly improved in their weaker areas.

Another aspect to consider is that Chelsea finally have some stability manager-wise with Mourinho at the helm as they’ve had four different managers since 2011 – something which will only help them further now.

While other English clubs have also done their share of good business, it’s hard to look past Chelsea who are certainly the big winners in England – expect them to bag a trophy or two ahead of the new season.

roma top bulge european soccer league 2014 images

 Roma

After an unexpected title challenge that eventually saw them finish behind the eventual champions, Juventus in second place, Roma have much to be proud of coming off the back of a productive season.

Rudi Garcia lead the Romans to 85 points in the 2013/2014 season, conceding only 25 goals in 38 games, however Juventus™ superiority and experience ultimately paid off in the race for the Scudetto. Having led Serie A for the first few weeks of the season, Roma can still be content about the return of Champions League football, and they’ve certainly strengthened.

Stealing the signature of €22 million Juan Iturbe right under Juventus’ noses was a great piece of business but the Giallorossi have made some astute signings as well – the likes of Davide Astori, Salih Ucan and Radja Nainggolan have been added to the squad while Ashley Cole, Seydou Keita and Urby Emanuelson were all signed as free transfers adding much needed depth and experience to a young side.

Out of all the clubs in Italy, it’s fair to say that Roma are the ones who have had the best mercato and with the unexpected departure of Juventus manager, Antonio Conte, it’s now or never for Garcia’s team if they want to win the Scudetto for the first time since 2001 – they are certainly favorites to do just that.

Does Apple’s IBM Deal Mark Post-PC Era?

After nearly 30 years of rivalry and several failed attempts of working together, finally, Apple and IBM announced an exclusive deal on 22nd July 2014. The deal builds a new line of enterprise applications for the Apple iOS platform aimed at companies in retail, transportation, health sector, and other related industries. In this new venture, IBM will create cloud services for iOS including tools for security and device management. Also, Apple will resell iPhones, iPads to corporate and will roll out many support services for business growth.

With this partnership, Apple device users will be able to access IBM enterprise software. This is not the first time these two traditional superpowers have tried to work together during the 90s but earlier both couldn’t come to a conclusion of finalizing a deal due to the inability of both companies to reconcile on each other’s different objectives, but this time they both have made an exclusive deal of working together. Experts say that this initiative has more potential of becoming a major hit as both companies have combined together on their existing successful products rather than attempting to create something new.

Some experts believe that deal is more significant for IBM as it is attempting to reposition itself into becoming a major player in cloud computing. It is now Post PC era where Mobile cloud computing is becoming popular, till now IBM has struggled to find a place in a mobile world where the business of cloud computing is significantly expanding. IBM is already a success in software and with acquiring of SoftLayer in July 2013, now IBM is looking to expand its business in cloud computation in mobile devices. On the other hand with this deal, Apple would be looking to understand the needs of corporate clients where always there is a growing demand of cloud services. Also with the name of IBM joining in, Apple is now looking to lay off its image of “LoneWolf” and becoming a major competitor in corporate business. This alliance also creates a good opportunity for end-user to see many applications having similar ability as Google’s Android operating system. With this ubiquity, consumers will be greatly benefitted as user will witness more cloud enterprise applications. This alliance also sparks troubles for other competitors like Microsoft, Google, and Nokia. With the IBM-Apple partnership, Microsoft may not remain the only master in the consumer and enterprise market.

Now the biggest issue with any enterprise is that, like politics, there’s so much red tape that progress and innovation can be stifled. Apple is smart enough to know that it needs a giant like IBM to become top of the Post-PC era and the same for IBM. IBM is able to make custom solutions for it’s customers the work perfectly on iOS devices it already owns, but it can take on financing, provisioning and support for Apple in the deal.

For IBM, Apple helps keep it relevant while having a great partner for solutions to customers making it so Apple doesn’t have to reinvent the wheel. They each have what the other needs to keep them going strong while other companies try to stay afloat in this quickly changing world technology.

2015 NFL Super Bowl XLIX Favorites – Another Perspective

At the beginning of each NFL season, players and coaches come together with one goal in mind—to win the Super Bowl. As the season progresses, a few front runners begin to surface; and eventually one team achieves that goal by winning the big game. Although the 2014 NFL has yet to begin, a few teams have already surfaced as favorites to win Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona:

Seattle Seahawks:

After the Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl XLVIII and took home the Lombardi Trophy, they immediately became one of the frontrunners for Super Bowl XLIX. The Seahawks offense is not exactly playing at a Super Bowl caliber level; but if the defense plays the way it did in 2013, the offense can afford to slack off. The 2013 Seahawks defense was one of the best defenses in NFL history, allowing only 14.6 points per game and adding 28 interceptions. The Seahawks lost a few big name players on both sides of the ball; but they will have a healthy Percy Harvin and of course Madden 15 cover man and self proclaimed “best cornerback in the game” Richard Sherman, so they will be fine. Expect to the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game again this season, if not the Super Bowl.

denver brocos julius thomas favorite for super bowl 2015 xlix images

Denver Broncos:

The team that the Seahawks crushed in Super Bowl XLVIII—the Denver Broncos—are another obvious team on this list. Quite the opposite of the Seahawks, the Broncos won all their games this season with their offensive productivity. In fact, the 2013 Broncos offense was statistically the best offense in NFL history captained by future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning. The Broncos defense, on the other hand, was a disappointment; however, General Manager John Elway realized this and brought in three Pro Bowl defensive players to help the team out. With Demarcus Ware, Aqib Talib, and T.J. Ward joining sack artist Von Miller; and Manning on the other side of the ball, there’s no team the Broncos can’t beat this season. Anything less than a Super Bowl victory this season would be a disappointment.

san francisco 49ers favorite 2015 super bowl picks xlix images

San Francisco 49ers:

As long as Jim Harbaugh is head coach, the San Francisco 49ers will continue to make this list. The 49ers have played in the NFC Championship Game the past three seasons, and they lost Super Bowl XLVII to the Baltimore Ravens at the end of the 2012-2013 NFL season. The 49ers offense was spectacular last season, but the addition of Stevie Johnson to the already-stacked receiving core that includes Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis, and Anquan Boldin, quarterback Colin Kaepernick should have no problem earning his huge paycheck. The 49ers defense remains one of the best in the NFL, and Harbaugh will make sure that it stays that way for a long time. The 49ers are an all-around great team, and heavy favorites to meet the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game again this season.

Vontaze Burfict cincinnati bengals 2015 super bowl favorite teams xlix images

Cincinnati Bengals:

Here’s where the surprise comes in, after all the Cincinnati Bengals have not won a playoff game since 1991. The Bengals are one of the best young teams in the league, and they only thing preventing them from winning in the postseason is quarterback Andy Dalton. Dalton has not come to play in the postseason the last three years, and as a result the Bengals have not been able to advance despite great regular season performances. The Bengals have no problem on the defensive side of the ball, so Dalton either needs to step it up in the playoffs or lose his job at the end of this season. If Dalton plays well in the playoffs this season, the Bengals should have no problem making it to the AFC Championship Game at the very least.

Editor’s Note: Now that we have more than one Football writer, we’re able to give differing opinions even though in this case it’s only slight. Now I’m sure plenty of you will have your own favorite choices for Super Bowl XLIX so tweet them all you want.

NFL NFC South 2014 Season Preview

Since it was created in 2002, the NFC South has been the most competitive and exciting division in the NFL. In fact, the NFC South has never had a repeat champion in it’s 12 seasons of existence, which is bad news for the Carolina Panthers who took home the division crown in 2013. Let’s break down the four teams and their individual chances of winning the coveted NFC South title in 2014:

Carolina Panthers:

Things are not looking good for the defending division champs: the Panthers lost two franchise players this offseason, offensive tackle Jordan Gross and Wide Receiver Steve Smith. There is a small upside to the Panthers offseason—they signed defensive lineman Greg Hardy to a four-year deal, and they drafted Wide Receiver Kelvin Benjamin in the first round of the NFL Draft. Despite these offseason moves, the Panthers may not be ready for a schedule as tough as theirs. The Panthers have a stretch in the middle of the season where they have to play five teams in a row who made the postseason this past season. Do not be surprised if the Panthers struggle to go 8-8, and do not expect them to make history as the division’s first repeat champion.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

Unlike the Panthers, the Buccaneers have had an extremely productive offseason. The Bucs acquired big names like cornerback Alterraun Verner, defensive end Michael Johnson, and quarterback Josh McCown over the offseason, while only losing Wide Receiver Mike Williams. Possibly the biggest offseason acquisition for the Bucs is new head coach Lovie Smith, most famous for leading the Chicago Bears to Super Bowl XLI. Smith’s services will definitely be needed on defense, because the Bucs lost arguably the best cornerback in the league, Darrelle Revis, after one season with the team. The Bucs have one of the easier schedules in the NFL this season, but if they want to win the division they will have to perform very well against their division rivals. The Bucs may be able to sneak into the Wild Card round, but it may be a stretch for them to beat the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.

Atlanta Falcons:

After an injury-riddled 2013, the Falcons are ready to start winning again. The Falcons were relatively quiet this offseason, signing a good number of players but no one overly notable. The biggest offseason acquisition for the Falcons was Wide Receiver and Return Specialist Devin Hester. The Falcons also took a huge blow to their offense losing future Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez. First-round draft pick Jake Matthews will definitely be a big help to the Falcons offensive line, but it may not be enough. The Falcons have a tough schedule, but nothing they should not be able to handle. The Falcons biggest games this season will be against the Saints: the Falcons will probably need to win both games against New Orleans in order to take home the division title in 2014. All things considered, the Falcons are a good team—but the Saints are better.

New Orleans Saints:

The Saints are easily the favorites to win the NFC South this season. With the additions of safety Jairus Byrd and first-round draft pick Brandin Cooks the Saints are ready to make another run for not only the division but possibly even the conference. The Saints have a tough schedule, but they are more than ready to handle it. Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan has assured Saints fans that he will change the game this coming season; and as for the offense, the combination of head coach Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees has not failed yet. The Saints have only one division once since their victory in Super Bowl XLIV, so they are long overdue. Expect a deep playoff run from the Saints in 2014.

What To Watch For 2014-2015 NBA Season

A lot has happened in the basketball world since the San Antonio Spurs hoisted the Larry O’Brien on June 15th: LeBron James returned home to the Cleveland Cavaliers, The Milwaukee Bucks drafted Duke guard Jabari Parker with the second pick in the NBA Draft, and the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed in principle to a trade that will send superstar forward Kevin Love to the Cavs in return for the last two first overall draft picks Anthony Bennett (2013) and Andrew Wiggins (2014). With that said, let’s look at some of the must-see teams and players for the 2014-2015 NBA season:

Cleveland Cavaliers:

This one should be obvious. Just imagine a Big 3 of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love—not to mention Mike Miller, Shawn Marion, and Ray Allen, who are all expected to follow LeBron to Cleveland. The Cavs have gone from making the first pick in the draft three out of four years to championship favorites in one season.

Derrick Rose/Chicago Bulls:

That’s right—Derrick Rose is finally returning to basketball. The 2011 MVP has missed the entire 2012-2013 NBA season as well as most of last season with various injuries, but he will be bringing his exciting playback to the league this season. The Bulls were favorites to win the NBA Championship when Rose went down with the ACL injury during a playoff game in 2012; and with Rose back the Bulls will most likely make a deep playoff run this season—provided he stays healthy, of course.

Anthony Davis/New Orleans Pelicans:

Many people still don’t know the Pelicans are a team, and not enough people know who All-Star power forward Anthony Davis is. Davis is one of the most exciting young players in the league, and at the rate he is improving his game he just may be the next Kevin Durant. Davis is one of few players in the league to average at least 20 points and 10 rebounds per game this past season. Despite a disappointing season this past year, the Pelicans have the tools to make a playoff run this season; so be sure to keep an eye on them this season.

Andrew Wiggins/Jabari Parker:

The first two players selected in this year’s draft are projected to be the next big MVP-caliber players in the NBA. Not everyone does well their rookie season, but it will be interesting to see how these two perform for their new teams who need their talents desperately.

It just doesn’t seem that long ago when Starz literally thrust Spartacus and Andy Whitfield onto us and turned him into an overnight star, but sadly that was short-lived as he wound us succumbing to cancer, but then Liam McIntyre came along and filled those sandals rather well. Fans were divided about who was the best Spartacus, but over the seasons McIntyre took to many fan’s hearts, but they never forgot Whitfield. A documentary was even made by those very faithful to him. I’m not sure if it was ever completed because after checking out the website for the film it doesn’t appear to have been finished which would be very sad.

Now that we’re in the dog days of summer, all you Spartacus fans can rejoice as the full complete series is coming out September 16, 2014 in a big ole bulging box, much like what we saw packing them loincloths (yes, that link is for one memorable scene that we can’t show on our site as it’s very very NSFW but many of you will lose your breath when you see it) in the show.

Apple’s iOS 8 Beta 5 Update Not Stopping Crashes

One of our tech writers recently submitted a piece on Apple’s iOS 8 Beta, but I’m wondering how much testing was actually done since the fifth update has recently come out and man this thing is crashing harder than a Windows 8.1 update. Below is what she wrote about her experience with it, but this is what I experienced which differs considerably from what she wrote.

Hers was more of an overview of what to expect with the latest new app, but after hearing about all the app crashes that happened with beta 4, I’m assuming she had a much earlier version.

Apple’s website notes that app crashes aren’t ironed out with any new major iOS version until they get closer to the public release. In their words: “Every year this happens, and each time we remind our readers that it is down to third-party app developers to resolve such issues. However, Apple will not allow these third-party app developers to work on making iOS 8 compatible apps until closer to its public release.”

The company will be releasing its two final beta versions of iOS 8 finishing off the dog days of summer. Beta 5 will be ready for developers on August 5, 2014 and beta 6 will hit August 15. This is looking to be the final incarnation before iOS 8 Gold Master (GM) which should be hitting in September. This update promises to fix many issues created by bugs from the previous versions.

So far, the only device that hasn’t made the final list for iOS 8 compatibility is the iPhone 4. This comes as no surprise as the iPhone 4 is no longer available in stores. So now read on, about what to expect in the latest bug free iOS 8 below:

Apple with its the most advanced operating system iOS 8 has now just released some more details about its iOS 8 beta 4 version. The new update brings more design enhancements and bug fixes in its previous version. iOS 8 latest update to beta 4 is available for download from Software update settings in those iphone, iPad, iPod devices which are currently running on iOS 8 platform. Apple has now added some new features with iOS 8 like health tracking, better messaging service, efficient mail messaging and photo editing. The company rolled out beta 4 update with a new built in application called as Tips for developers on Monday, 21st July 2014.

In addition to this new Tips application, the new version comes with a redesigned control centre and has added new menus in settings option which includes separate panels for display control, brightness control and wallpaper. Although the control center settings are not the major changes, this Tips app is the latest addition in update. Tips is designed to give users some of tricks of using iOS 8 latest features. This application will be updated on weekly basis with giving new tops from Apple on how to use its new features. The app shows some navigation shortcuts or tutorial indicating some pop up messages on how to get most out of Apple Features.

iOS8 is still new for many users and people have already complained to Apple about difficulty in using and adapting some of the new features. With such concerns coming, Apple has now made this application keeping in mind that iOS 8 is understood easily for any beginner. Apple is now pushing everyday with latest updating mechanism. iOS 8 debut look last year has some new features. Since its announcement with launch of new iphone, Apple has steadily added some new features and apps of periodic basis. Apple blogs picked up with new latest release of iOS beta 4 version update. iOS is supposed to be much awaited operating system with some ground breaking features and usage. In the latest version update, Apple has shown some tricks for devices on how to respond to iMessage or how use Siri without using push buttons.

The new iOS version is available in the development center with only some of the registered developers are able to use and check the new iOS 8 beta features. The full version of its platform is soon expected to be released with the launch of the next Apple iPhone 6. Also this Apple has also released a new developer preview version of the upcoming operating system X Yosemite which it is expected to launch the new public beta version prior to its full launch later in the month of July.

NFL Teams To Hang Your Super Bowl 2015 Hopes On

With each new NFL season, fans can begin to dream of playoff runs and even a trip to the big game at the end of it all. The NFL draft along with free agency can bring back the most bitter fan to a place of hope. And in a league built to give each team a chance to improve in a hurry, it makes sense for fans to get excited. Anything can happen over the course of a 16 game season. All that being said, I have to be realistic about who has the best shot to make it to Arizona for Super Bowl XLIX. Spoiler alert: Jacksonville fans can stop reading now. Now let’s have a look at the teams with the most realistic shot at a Super Bowl win for the 2014 NFL season.

Seattle Seahawks

The champs will be trying to repeat the feat from 2013. And as the Miami Heat found out in the NBA Finals, it is not easy to stay on the mountain top. Remaining hungry is the key for the Seahawks, as it is easy to get fat and satisfied. They do have a good chance to fight against that human nature of a let down in motivation. The Hawks have a super motivator in head coach Pete Carroll. Some people may see his persona as phony, but as long as his players buy into his enthusiasm, that is all that matters ultimately. Having a young QB would be a possible problem with most guys since a younger leader might see it as “easy” to win a Super Bowl after doing it shortly after getting to the NFL. However, Russell Wilson is not a regular quarterback. He is a pro’s pro with the work ethic of a mad man. Wilson is the type of leader it will take to win back-to-back Super Bowls, and everything I have seen from the guy tells me he is up to the task.

San Francisco 49ers

With an insane head coach like Jim Harbaugh, anything can happen with this team. Harbaugh is an awesome leader and can coach his ass off, clearly. But he was nearly shipped off by management in a weird trade scenario earlier in the off-season. Situations like that do not occur on winning teams unless there are major problems between management and the head coach. The bottom line is that the Niners have been in the past three NFC title games and were in one Super Bowl in the past three seasons. That makes them a threat to do it again. They have maybe the best overall talent in the league and a defense that is feared almost as much as Seattle’s. Even with the off-the-field management versus head coach stuff, this team could be on track for a Super Bowl win. They have knocked on the door the past few years, so don’t be shocked if they actually get a hold of that Lombardi trophy this time. I’d like to see it just to hear Jim Harbaugh give a wild-eyed post-game interview.

Denver Broncos

I would put my money on the Broncos to win the Super Bowl this year if they end up making it there…unless they play Seattle again. I have no problem with Denver against any other team, but I feel like they were so thoroughly trounced by the Seahawks that they would have a hard time forgetting that beat down from February of 2014. Peyton Manning is going to go fantasy crazy as usual and his team will dominate in the regular season. But it cannot be glossed over how many big games Manning has lost, no matter how much the mainstream media loves the quarterback. I cannot explain it, but there is a reason that he dominates in regular season contests, but falls short when it counts most. I would pay good money for a book that dove deep into what makes great players unable to perform at the same level when the importance of the games increases dramatically. Manning would be a good case study for such a book.

clay matthews green bay packers headed to super bowl 2015 images

Green Bay Packers

The Pack has a shot every year as long as they have Mr. Discount Double check running the show. Rodgers is the best QB in the game in my opinion. If the team can keep improving around him, I see no reason why Green Bay can’t get back to a Super Bowl this 2014 season. Rodgers was lights out after coming back a little soon from an injury to play in the playoffs last year. His receiving corp will be back full force again as well, and with an improving run game the Packers will be increasingly dangerous. Eddie Lacy seems to be the real deal, averaging 4.1 yards per carry in 2013. He has a really good back up with James Starks, the fifth year pro. All this offensive talent adds up to lots of promise once again, but with a defense that ranks 24th or worse in all the major stat categories, the Packers will need tons of scoring. It is a common problem in the NFL. Many teams are forced to bolster one side of the ball or the other. It is not easy to create a balanced team like the Niners and Seattle. Those two franchises are the outliers.

Wrapping It Up

As I wrap things up, feel free to breathe easier about your team’s chances to make it to the Super Bowl come February 2015….if they are listed above. If your home team was not mentioned, then maybe place a few bucks on the team that you agree with me about, legally of course! As I said before, however, things in the NFL can change in a hurry, so don’t be shocked if teams like Atlanta, Baltimore, New Orleans, or even the Colts manage to exceed expectations and make a Super Bowl run. That is part of what makes the NFL great, almost every team can turn things around over the course of an off-season.
