Caitlyn was a guest on the season premiere of Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show on Tuesday and in her interview she claimed she “was not for” gay marriage in the past. Although Caitlyn explained that her views have changed, Ellen was visibly unconvinced.

Since the interview, Ellen appeared as a guest on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius radio XM. While talking to Stern, Ellen claimed that Caitlyn “still has a judgment about gay marriage.” Going on to explain her thoughts about Jenner, saying “I said ‘you’re wanting people to understand and accept you…and you still have a judgment about gay people and marriage…”

In addition, singer Lance Bass also decided to chime in on Caitlyn’s interview with Ellen. While on The Meredith Vieira Show on Wednesday, Lance Bass explained his confusion saying, “What I don’t get is, she’s sitting there in Givenchy, full makeup saying, “I’m a traditionalist.’ I’m like, ‘What?!’”

However he did say he would give her a break, as he understands that she is still new to the LGBTQ community. Lance went on to explain his own experience transitioning saying, “When I came out, I still caught myself saying, ‘Oh, she’s so hot!’ Like doing that thing you trained yourself to do for so many years. So I think we should give [Caitlyn] a little room to grow.”

Needless to say, it looks like if Caitlyn wants support from everyone – including the gay community – she will have to return the favor.

Kylie explained the treatment she gets done on her lips saying, “I still do Juvederm for my lips. I go to Dr. Ourian in Beverly Hills. He’s the best and he’s natural about it. I was going to somebody else before and it was just looking crazy.”

She then went on to give some advice to others who are considering altering their lips saying, “I would recommend that anyone who gets it done go for a filler that lasts only two to four months. It’s annoying to keep going back, but you have the option of stopping it.”

Although the star is always in the media for her makeup and appearance, she claims that she doesn’t feel like a lot of makeup looks good on her. This is surprising considering the majority of pictures taken of Kylie show her all dolled up. However, the star reveals, “If I’m going to see people, I won’t wear heavy makeup. It’s not attractive on me. When you see those pictures on my Instagram, they are usually for when I’m dong a photo shoot or an interview. Every time I get my makeup professionally done, I take a photo.”

Kylie further explained her outlook on makeup saying, “I used to be obsessed with heavy lashes, but now I want to find something super clean and light.”

Despite her claims, I think it is safe to say the “super clean and light” makeup look is definitely not what we are used to seeing on the young reality star.

Steve said his number one goal was to break up Austin and the twins. Liz said she didn’t think Steve would be the one to betray them. Steve said he was telling Austin was Austin wanted to hear. Austin said he and Liz needed Julia to save them.

This week’s veto competition was Bowlerina Championships. Steve said he didn’t care what happened as long as Julia didn’t win. Liz won the first round. Vanessa said Julia winning power of veto would be the worst thing to happen to her. Austin won the second round. John said Austin had been his target but now he was trying to get one of the twins evicted this week. John won the third round and Liz said she felt defeated. Austin said Vanessa was supposed to be working with him, not against him and that now he is going to destroy her. Austin won the fourth round too. Austin won the power of veto for the week. Vanessa said she was going to have to do major damage control after Julia challenged Austin in the power of veto competition.

Steve said he was nervous about what Vanessa was capable of in this game and he didn’t want it to come down to himself and Vanessa.

Austin asked Vanessa what she said to the twins. Vanessa said Austin was attacking her and she could give him a lot of information. Austin told Liz he loves her and he has done everything he could to protect her and Julia. Austin told Liz he chose her over a girlfriend he had at home. Later, Liz apologized and she and Austin made up.

At the veto meeting, Austin used his power of veto on himself. Steve named Julia the replacement. Austin said he had a tough day and he failed to save the twins.

The young Croat has moved to Real Madrid from Inter Milan for a price believed to be in the range of €30m to €35m. Now, on the face of it, the price is not too shabby, but considering the skills that the youngster possesses he may just turn out to be a bargain for Los Blancos in the long run. Still only 21, he made close to 100 appearances for the Nerazzurri during his time at the San Siro, and he will be eager to make the deep-lying playmaker’s role his own during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.

James Milner

The England international was unhappy with his situation at Manchester City as he was given sporadic starts by Manuel Pellegrini and after the conclusion of his contract with the Etihad Stadium outfit; he was brought to Liverpool on a free transfer. The 29-year-old workhorse brings with him a plethora of Premier League experience that the Reds so needed after the departure of Steven Gerrard. Milner has played every minute of Liverpool’s fixtures so far and has also captained them in the last two games in the absence of Jordan Henderson. He could prove pivotal to the Reds’ campaign this season.

Julian Draxler

The Germany international was snapped up by Wolfsburg as an apparent replacement for Kevin De Bruyne – who was signed by Manchester City for a Bundesliga record transfer fee. Draxler winger was heavily linked with a move to Juventus, but Wolfsburg eventually landed him for a fee believed to be around €36m. For a 22-year-old, who has already won the World Cup and is capable of dictating play from a number 10 role as well as from the wings and has many years ahead of him, he can turn out to be one of the best deals of the summer.

Andre Ayew

The 25-year-old was available for free after his contract with Marseille ran out this summer, and Garry Monk’s Swansea City had the eye to convince him to sign for the Welsh outfit on a free. The Ghana international, who scored 60 times from his over 200 appearances for Marseille, has been prolific in the early days of the 2015/16 Premier League season, having scored thrice in four games. If he continues performing at the same level, it won’t be long before one of the European heavyweights come hankering for his signature, potentially handing millions to Swansea.

When the 24-year-old was signed by Bayern Munich this summer, many an eyebrow were raised – by those who hadn’t seen much of Shakhtar Donetsk – as to who the player was and how he would fit into Pep Guardiola’s playing eleven. Any doubts were soon erased as he has turned in a series of spectacular displays in his five games across all competitions so far. He has returned figures of one goal and four assists thus far. And if he continues at the same rate, his price of €30m will appear peanuts in the current hyper-inflated market.

The weekend started early with a Battle of the Carolinas and ended on Monday night with a rematch between defending national champion and Virginia Tech, the team that had handed the Buckeyes their only loss a year ago. Here is a look at the winners and losers in this first weekend of college football.

WINNERS

Speaking of SOUTH CAROLINA, the Gamecocks defense led by middle linebacker Skai Moore, came through holding North Carolina to just 13 points despite giving up 440 yards of total offense. Moore wound up as the game’s MVP with not one, but two, interceptions in the Tar Heels’ end zone. The two picks in the end zone made all the difference as South Carolina won 17-13.

BAYLOR showed that it is now capable of reloading as the Bears put up 56 points in a season-opening win over SMU. Quarterback Seth Russell stepped into Bryce Petty’s former spot and performed admirably completing 15-of-30 passes for 376 yards and five touchdowns. He also ran for 59 yards in Baylor’s 56-21 victory.

Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly answered some questions about who would take over the Rebels offense in 2015. Kelly completed 9-of-15 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns as the 17th-ranked Rebels defeated Tennessee-Martin 76-3. One of Kelly’s touchdown passes was to 6-5, 295-pound All-SEC defensive end Robert Nkemdiche.

The Illinois football program showed its resiliency by overcoming the dismissal of head coach Tim Beckman amid some scandal and defeating Kent State 52-3 in its season opener. Interim head coach Bill Cubit, a former head coach at Western Michigan, rallied the Illini after the game was postponed on Friday night and played on Saturday. Beckman had been fired just eight days before the first game after an investigation found that he had interfered with players’ medical evaluations and decisions. The Illini rolled up 38 first-half points on their way to victory.

NOTRE DAME proved it is a force to be reckoned with after a 38-3 thrashing of Texas. Irish QB Malik Zaire missed on only three pass attempts going 19-of-22 for 313 yards and three touchdowns. Zaire’s 86.6 percent completion rate was the second best in school history. Standout wide receiver Will Fuller caught two TD passes and C.J. Prosise ran 20 times for 98 yards.

LOSERS

STANFORD may be in for a long season. The once-dominant Cardinal defense and running game was everything but in a 16-6 loss to Northwestern to open the year. The Wildcats pounded their way to 225 yards on the ground led by Justin Jackson who had 28 carries for 134 yards. Freshman quarterback Clayton Thurson, who scored the game’s only touchdown, ran eight times for 68 yards. The Northwestern defense made a statement in holding Stanford to just 85 yards rushing. Senior QB Kevin Hogan went 20-of-35 for 155 yards. He threw an interception in the end zone in the game’s final seconds.

Washington head coach Chris Petersen is trying to build a winner at Washington. It’s too bad he built such a winner at Boise State. The Broncos welcomed Petersen’s Huskies to the blue turf and held on for a 16-13 win. Washington fell behind 16-0 in the first half but nearly pulled off the upset. Freshman QB Jake Browning took the Huskies downfield in the game’s final minute setting up a 46-yard field goal attempt with just 21 seconds left. Huskies kicker Cameron Van Winkle, who had connected from 28 and 40 yards earlier, missed the kick sailing wide right. Washington was 8-6 last season and Petersen has some work to do to make sure the Huskies can at least hit that mark again.

Arizona won its opener, 42-32, over Texas-San Antonio. The Wildcats could never pull away from the pesky Roadrunners, but the bigger problem is the Arizona defense. Its star, linebacker Scooby Wright, suffered a knee injury early in the game and could miss three to four weeks. Wright, winner of the Nagurski Trophy and Lombardi Award last year, suffered a torn lateral meniscus.

CATFISH 414: Sara & Thaddeus Sinning then Spinning

After the previous episode of Catfish “Prophet and Trinity” went through all the typical things we expect to see in an episode, episode 14 of season 4 “Sara and Thaddeus” brought a relatively more unorthodox story to the show.

Nev and Max are written to by Thaddeus, whom is a former corrections officer living in Texas (yes, yet another victim from Texas!) Thaddeus is married with kids, but was introduced to his catfish when he tried to connect with strangers over the Internet to try and get an external perspective on the troubles he was having within his relationship. He contacted “Sara,” who showed on a “People You May Know” list on one of his social media sites. They began talking and Sara helped Thaddeus sort out his emotions and issues regarding his marriage. After a couple of months of talking over text and on the phone, both Sara and Thaddeus confessed that they were developing stronger feelings for one another.

catfish 414 overview recap imagesAt this point, Thaddeus and his wife were temporarily separated and therefore, Thaddeus decided to meet up with Sara. However, in typical Catfish fashion, Sara always found some elaborate excuse to why she couldn’t meet – including seizures, hypothermia and kidnapping. Eventually, this shot up red flags in Thaddeus’ mind and he decided to do some snooping and figure out what really was going on.

I am happy to see that finally someone took it upon themself to do a simple reverse image and phone number search. By doing so, Thaddeus was able to determine that the pictures matched up to a girl named Sara, but not the Sara that Thaddeus had been talking to.

Thaddeus emailed the actual Sara and let her know that some girl had been using her images and pretending to be her. Sara revealed to Thaddeus that the girl’s name is Ashley and she has been doing this for the past 7 or so years.

catfish 414 sara thaddeus sinning 2015So, Thaddeus reached out to the Catfish crew because although he realizes the girl he thought he had been getting to know is a fraud, he still wants to confront her and stop her from ruining any further lives.

Nev and Max first contact the real Sara and talk about her experience with Ashley and how she has been stealing her identity to catfish people. Sara, who is visibly frustrated with the situation, explains that Ashley has gone to elaborate lengths to get her personal pictures. Sara also reveals that she has messaged Ashley in the past and has gotten her to agree to stop, but clearly this was also a lie of Ashley’s.

Nev and Max use all the information they got from Thaddeus and Sara on Ashley and eventually are able to retrieve an address that is very likely to be hers. After getting this, they load up the car with not only Thaddeus, but also Sara who wants to stop Ashley from stealing her identity once and for all.

Nev tries to call Ashley in advance but has no luck getting an answer. They eventually decide that they will just drive up to the house and see what happens.

Unfortunately but not surprisingly, the crew has no luck when they get to Ashley’s house. No one answers the door, the windows are all covered up and none of the neighbors know any details about her.

However, later in the day Ashley contacts Thaddeus upset that he came to her house with the Catfish crew. Thaddeus is able to eventually get Ashley to agree to meet at her friend’s house.

Here, Ashley finally reveals herself. Tensions are high as Ashley shakes hands with Sara, the girl she has been pretending to be for the past 7 years.

Ashley reveals that she is a stay-at-home mother of a 4-year-old, who had been dumped by her fiancée two days before the wedding. She was feeling very low at this point and that is when she began the “Sara” profile. She shows remorse but has a hard time explaining why she has continued to hurt guy after guy.

Thaddeus and Sara take a break from talking with her and reveal that they both don’t believe she will stop, as Sara says she has promised to end all of this before and yet she continued.

Nev takes this opportunity to approach Ashley alone to make sure she is serious about stopping.

At the end of the episode, Ashley explains to Thaddeus and Sara that it was “easier to keep pretending than admitting to [herself her] real problems and make [herself] even more vulnerable.” She admits to struggling with her weight, body image and feeling lonely and therefore being a catfish was a getaway for her.

Her revelations get to Sara and the crew, who feel for her struggles. They wind up switching the mood and ensuring Ashley that they are there to help her, not shame her.

At this point, things seem promising that Ashley will stop her catfish-ing ways.
Two months later, Thaddeus tells Nev and Max that him and his wife are on much better terms and that he is returning to work as a corrections officer. Unfortunately, he also explains that Ashley is continuing to catfish people. They also contact Sara, who tells Nev and Max that several guys saying that they are apparently engaged to her have recently contacted her. So evidently Ashley did not follow through on her promise to end her catfish-ing, and rather amped it up.

It was nice to see in this episode a person like Thaddeus, who was relatively self-aware throughout his interactions with Ashley. He did some simple searches and was able to reveal what was really happening (being catfished), rather than falling deeper in love with her, like many people seem to do on this show.

However in Ashley’s case, it seems once a catfish always a catfish.

Sense8 111 Recap: Just Keep Turning that Wheel

sense8 111 just turn the wheel sun fighting 2015Entering the second to last episode of Sense8, “Just Turn the Wheel and the Future Changes,” the underlying plot has a lot of loose ends to tie up to make any sense of the connection between the sensates and the dangers they face.

Unlike previous episodes this one begins right in the midst of a conversation as Nomi, Amanita, and Will try to figure out what to do about Whispers and BPO. Instead of focusing on the individual stories, episode 11 ramps up the pace and dives right into the collaboration of the sensates against the dangers they all face as an entity.

From the get go, it feels like the show knows it has a lot to cover to suffice for the slow-pace of the previous episodes.

Then, suddenly, it all jumps back to the usual pace which is kind of what I expected. The episode begins focusing once again on the individual stories, at a seemingly even slower pace (now that it has been contrasted with the pick-up of the plot in the very beginning).

Kala decides to tell Rajan that his father, Papa-ji, was telling her to call off the wedding. Surprisingly, Rajan told her that he knew that his father did not approve of their marriage. He tells her that this does not change the fact that he loves her and wants to get married. The scene leaves the question of whether they are going to get married or not unanswered.

Nomi “visits” Riley who is in hospital after fainting at the concert hall at the end of the last episode. Nomi sees not only is Riley being serenaded lovingly by her father, but she is also being cared for by fellow sensate Will, who has shown a deeper, more romantic connection with Riley in previous episodes.

Meanwhile, Sun’s brother, who is the one who should be in jail for embezzlement instead of her, visits her in prison. He tells Sun that their father has committed suicide meaning that he can no longer testify in court to clear her name.

Sun listens patiently to her brother’s explanation, but it is clear she does not believe him. She knows that her brother was aware that he would be in jail if her father went through with his confession. Therefore, Sun believes that her father’s death was not suicide, as she screams out “you murdered him” to her brother.

Capheus decides that he wants to go and negotiate with the thug group, Superpower, in order to stop the impending threat they have imposed on his family and Silas’ daughter. Unfortunately, Superpowers’ idea of negotiation is having Capheus chop off Silas’ head, which they had kidnapped in the previous episode. With a gun pointed to his head, Capheus’ only chance at freedom and safety for him, his family and Silas’ daughter was to behead Silas himself.

sense8 111 turn the wheel capheus gun to head 2015Just as Capheus tries to prepare himself to go through with Superpowers’ instructions he switches perspectives with Sun, whose frustration is at an all-time high. Perfect for fighting. Sun quickly defeats the gang members, in a fight filled with blood, gore and cut off limbs. Capheus is able to drive away with Silas but is quick to realize that the remainder of the Superpowers gang is closing in on them. This is when, Will “shares” his driving and fighting abilities, and Capheus is able to get fight enough to allow him to maneuver his van into the opposing lane to drive away.

Back at the hospital, Riley begins having visions of her car crash. During this we also see that her doctors are questioning a strange brain growth that is showing up on Riley’s charts, a common thread that has shown up in many of the character’s stories.

Will and Nomi get a visit from Jonas who is simultaneously in the room with Whispers. Jonas warns them that Whispers is on his way to find Riley at the hospital in Iceland.

Simultaneously, Wolfgang decides to move Felix from the hospital and bring him to private care, to ensure his safety.  He then decides that he must seek his revenge on his uncle, who has been excessively abusive to him and Felix, especially now that Steiner, who turns out to be his cousin, is out of the picture. Before going in, Kala “visits” Wolfgang and tries to persuade him to not put himself in danger, but Wolfgang is already set on his decision. Once again the scene shows a romantic connection between Kala and Wolfgang.

This episode shows that the only people who seem to be aware, or at least dealing, with the underlying plot and the BPO are Nomi, Riley and Will. With Riley in the hospital and Whispers closing in on her, it leaves only Will and Nomi to stop the impending threat of the BPO agents.

Although there are indications that the final episode will somehow wrap this all up, it will surely do so in a way that feels forced. Since the BPO story never truly unfolded, the show will simply fold it back up as superficially as it was laid out.

Men are crazy and of all the things that they do, getting mad at another dude for feeling the girl you cheated on is probably the thing I don’t get most about them.

We all know the saga that is Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown’s relationship. Their love story (if you want to call it that) is one of great mystery. As of right now, from what it looks like, they are not together, but that has not stopped the singer from cock blocking other guys from doing something as small as liking her Instagram pictures.

Rapper The Game liked some of Karrueche’s pictures and followed the model and that, for whatever reason, did not sit well with Breezy. He poked fun at the rapper in the comments section of one of her pics.

“Someone must have something they need to promote. It’s sad people need gimmicks to maintain fame. All pub is good pub I guess.”

The Game is currently promoting his LP The Documentary 2, which may be the reason Chris said what he said. But being that Jayceon is straight outta Compton, you know he couldn’t let that slide.

When you are rich, talented and arrogant, everybody wants a piece of you, or rather a piece of your money. From having to pay Rick Ross’s baby momma $7 million to leaving the country and building African mansion, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has a lot on his plate. He can now add another lawsuit to said plate.

We have all fallen in love with the intricate plot twists of Starz “Power” a show executively produced and co starring 50, but reports have been swirling that he lifted the idea from a man that is now suing him. Larry Johnson claims that he sent his 2005 manuscript, “Tribulation of a Ghetto Kid” to Nikki Turner who works for 50’s G-Unit Books. It was published some place else but that didn’t stop Johnson from seeing the similarities in the TV show and his book, which lead him to believe 50 jacked him for his paper.

He claims that it is a “carbon copy” of his work with both main characters having goatees and being owners of the “hottest clubs in town” (Atlanta and NYC) and both have hot head characters who are best friends with the club owners/ drug kingpin. Furthermore, the main character in “Power” is Ghost and Johnson’s pen name is Ghost.

He is suing for $200 million.

People just need to mind their own damn business. Amber Rose is a mother, despite how she carries herself. The way in which she shows affection to her son should only bother us if it puts the child in danger. So to those voicing their two cents about her kissing her baby on the lips leaving lipstick on his lips need to go find several seats.

She posted a picture of her son Sebastian on Instagram with his lips covered in lipstick, which is obviously due to his mother kissing him on the mouth, as moms do. For some reason, this caused the Internet to go bonkers as people criticized her and argued whether or not it is okay for her to do so (because they have the power to stop it).

Now the comments have been everything from people saying that she should not do that for health reasons to people totally showing their ignorance by saying, “This boy growing up as a transgendered I can tell by the way he looks.” What the eff does that even mean?

Of course there are those who totally support not only the mouth to mouth affection but Amber herself.

They are best friends just trying to find a place to all live together. But little did they know what the house that they bought had in store for them.

The girls were Lindsey, Rebecca, and Amber. Lindsey had her boyfriend Adam over the first night so he could help with the unpacking and such. But strange things began that very night. The fan turned on by itself and there was a heavy banging at the door. But when they would touch the objects the fan would turn off or the banging would stop. That was just the start of it.

Rebecca was in her room that same night, studying. Suddenly, she hears a THUD coming from outside of her room. She said it sounded like footsteps going up and down the stairs. Right about the same time, Lindsey had fallen back asleep and was woken up in a dream. In this dream she was strapped to her bed and could not scream. All she could see was the black evil figure of a woman.

To me, it sounds like they’re all going insane. But the next day, Rebecca was waking up from a nap when she saw a huge black spider crawling right next to her. She and her crazy self-thought someone had shape shifted into a spider and was watching her. Yes, shape shifted!

Not even in the house for a week and she is already going insane. She even began to become distant and I guess ended up moving out because she was not mentioned the rest of the show after that.

Lindsey woke up from a dead sleep one night to find her TV on but playing static and very loud! She does not think that she left it on before bed, but who knows? Maybe like how some sleep walk to the kitchen, she sleep walks to her TV to put it on a static channel? After going back to sleep, she said she had the same nightmare as before and saw the same scary woman as before! But this time, it was nearly impossible to wake back up from it.

Nights later, while all the girls were in class, Adam was in the house alone watching some movies, when he said that he just did not feel comfortable anymore. He left and thought to himself “Don’t look up.” But maybe he should listen to himself more often because as soon as he looked up, he saw her. The dark shadow figure from Lindsey’s nightmare.

Now, Adam’s dad was a deacon at their church. So naturally they enlisted him for his advice. He gave them some holy water and an icon that is said to ward off all evil.

Sounds like some shady TV preacher to me. Perhaps advising the kids to move out would have been better.

Back at the house, they blessed the home. But the third roommate, Amber thought they were just insane so she snapped and told them they were crazy and that she had not seen anything so it could not be true. They continued with the blessing of the house and even said it felt better a while after it. But that night they heard the bang on the door again and all Lindsey’s paintings were thrown on the ground except one.

Though Amber was skeptical for a while, she soon realized that Lindsey and Adam were right when she had her own experience of seeing the woman. She then told Lindsey about it and they all went to the historical society where they told them the story of the house. “90 years ago a doctor and his wife lived there. The wife was not being the best partner, so eventually the doctor went crazy. He ended up murdering her.”

Hey it happens. Without that, no shows like this.

The last interaction between the college students and the ghost lady was when she showed up in the bathroom with Lindsey. She sees the ghost and runs to the hallway only to be pulled down at her ankles and screams for Adam’s’ help. Of course he comes up there. After this they all decided that they needed to leave.

I’m not sure why these people don’t just leave at the first sign of trouble. Visions of evil dead people is a good reason to bounce. I don’t need multiple instances of horror. I’d move back in with my parents in a heartbeat!

Hell, I’d move back if I was homesick or broke, much less threatened by evil spirits.

These young college students ended up moving out separate from each other.  The house that was supposed to bring them the time of their lives, ended up tearing them apart. Apparently binge drinking and drugs aren’t the only stumbling blocks for college kids.

The 2014 Spanish champions have made some astute purchases this summer, having brought in the likes of Yannick Ferreira Carrasco, Jackson Martinez, Matias Kranevitter, Stefan Savic, Luciano Vietto and Filipe Luis as well as the return of Oliver Torres after a season-long loan spell at Porto. Diego Simeone’s side have covered all the bases and the way they dispatched Sevilla in their last league game at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan showed the potential of this team. With adequate bench strength secured this summer, Los Rojiblancos will be a hard nut to crack, and repeating the heroics of the 2013/14 season cannot be put beyond them.

Liverpool – Premier League

Brendan Rodgers’ side enjoyed a spectacular campaign in the 2013/14 season when they came within a whisker of winning the Premier League only to lose the title to Manchester City on the final two match days of the season. A flurry of signings followed in the following season, but most of them didn’t work out and the Reds finished in sixth. Nonetheless, Rodgers has again brought in several new faces at the club, only this time the new arrivals look much better suited to the playing style employed by the Reds. It cannot be put beyond them to challenge Manchester City and Chelsea for the title this season.

Roma – Serie A

The Italian capital outfit have finished runners-up to Juventus for the last two seasons as they haven’t been able to pose a sustained challenge to the Old Lady for a variety of reasons. However, they have tried to address the issue of depth this summer, bringing in a number of new players to the Stadio Olimpico. Wojciech Szczesny, Mohamed Salah, Edin Dzeko, Lucas Digne and Antonio Rudiger are some of the new faces to grace Roma this season. On top of it, their main title rivals Juventus have got off to a horrendous start, giving Roma an early initiative in the title race.

Borussia Dortmund – Bundesliga

Following the departure of manager Jurgen Klopp after a difficult 2014/15 season, Borussia Dortmund have hit their stride under Thomas Tuchel. The Black and Yellows have enjoyed a spectacular start to the league campaign and are currently sitting atop the league table with three wins from as many games. They have also made the group stage of the Europa League, and most importantly, they are playing attractive and dynamic football. They are likely to pose a serious threat to Bayern Munich’s fourth successive title bid.

Lyon – Ligue 1

Although Paris Saint-Germain have gone off to a flying start in Ligue 1, Lyon’s title bid cannot be undermined. They have made some astute signings this summer and have seen the arrivals of Rafael, Mathieu Valbuena and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa amongst others. Most importantly, they have kept hold of last season’s star Alexandre Lacazette and as the season progresses Hubert Fournier’s side are bound to get better as the new arrivals settle in. It is not beyond them to do one better than their second placed finish from last season.

Preseason Week 4 Recap

We are just one day away from Pittsburgh v. New England on Thursday Night Football. Tom Brady’s in. Jimmy Garoppolo is out. So it should be a great start to the 2015 season.

There were a stack of notable cuts that happened over the weekend, so take note just in case you have already drafted your fantasy team. If you drafted Tebow, you don’t know what you’re doing and you weren’t going to win your league anyway so don’t bother adjusting your lineup. Just find another hobby. One that you may actually be good at.

Let’s blast through the last week of exhibition NFL football so we can move on to the real games. Most of these games featured third stringers to make final cut decisions so don’t be baffled by any unknown players you see pop up.

Bengals 9 Colts 6

It’s my duty to report even on a shootout like this. Apparently Adam Vinatieri refuses to grow old and retire. He was the lone offensive weapon for Indy in this contest.

This game was a turnover fest, with the Colts having four and Cincy with two.

Tom Obarski made a FG with under two minutes to seal the win for the Bengals.

Eagles 18 Jets 24

It looked like Tim Tebow had found a home in Philadelphia after he threw two touchdowns in his fourth opportunity of the preseason. Matt Barkley was traded so it seemed inevitable Tebow would stick. Alas, the guy was cut over the weekend and it may be the end of the line for this former college great.

Bucs 22 Dolphins 17

Tampa got the win and never even got Jameis Winston dirty. He didn’t play at all, but watched backup Mike Glennon throw two picks. Glennon did toss in a touchdown on his 11 of 20 game.

Miami’s Josh Freeman didn’t impress enough in this preseason. After throwing two INTs of his own in this game he found himself cut over the weekend.

Tampa scored a safety to make some degenerate gamblers happy with their squares ending with a ‘2.’ Mike Gillislee added a late touchdown to make the score closer in this seven turnover game.

Saints 10 Packers 38

Brett Hundley will take over for Aaron Rodgers….maybe someday. The kid out of UCLA did impress for the second straight game. He passed for four touchdowns and went off for 236 yards. Hundley will be QB3 to start 2015, but could be the number two guy by next year if he continues to learn the system.

The Packers continued to search for bodies to fill in at receiver due to injuries. One such body belonged to Myles White, after catching two TD passes.

The Saints gave up too many big passing plays, prompting Sean Payton to state, “We’ll have to watch the tape, but I thought we struggled at corner,” Saints coach Sean Payton said. No tape needed. Hundley’s stats tell the tale.

Ravens 19 Falcons 20

This was a decent game at the end. The Falcons made sure there was some excitement for the few fans left in the Georgia Dome with about two minutes to play.

They achieved that by letting Baltimore score with less than two minutes on the clock. Then for good measure the Birds had a punt blocked close to their own end zone. Baltimore went for two in order to save fans from preseason overtime. They failed so Atlanta backed into this win.

Bills 10 Lions 17

An 81 yard INT return for a touchdown was a good start for the Bills. Ron Brooks took it to the house late in the first quarter for Rex’s boys.

Detroit’s TJ Jones had a long score of his own as he went 64 yards after a short pass.

Rex didn’t sound pleased after the loss, “We did some of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen in football,” Bills coach Rex Ryan said. “It was awful. A football follies play, offside on a fourth down call on defense by a lineman.”

His fourth string QB lost three fumbles so his frustration was well warranted.

Giants 12 Patriots 9

Another field goal fest in this one as both teams played out the string of exhibition ball.

Brady signs were abundant and New England fans are setting up a crowdfunding campaign that should allow Judge Richard Berman to retire by next week.

Ryan Lindley got a workout for the Pats, throwing 45 times, completing 22 of those.

Panthers 23 Steelers 6

Pittsburgh is just glad to move past the preseason. They will open the regular season on Thursday Night Football against the Patriots. They already had players suspended for that opener, but the preseason added some injuries to the MIA list.

Carolina used their preseason to search for receiver help to replace Kelvin Benjamin’s numbers. This game against the Steelers saw them rack up plenty of rushing yards, so that would be a good theme to keep up in the regular season. The Panthers had 454 yards total offense in this one.

Cam has depth behind him in case he gets roughed up again this season.

Jaguars 17 Redskins 16

Pretty fitting that a former Arena League kicker was the difference in this last preseason game. Jason Myers made his NFL kicking debut in this one and put the Jags ahead with under four minutes to play.

Colt McCoy played the entire game for the Redskins, ending up with 208 yards passing.

Corey Grant put on a nice show at running back for Jacksonville. He had 74 yards on just five carries. He should be a solid backup running back as the season starts next weekend.

Vikings 17 Titans 24

Marcus Mariota can only hope to play as well in the regular season as he has the past three weeks. He wrapped up his preseason with just four plays, one of which was a 59 yard pass to former Falcon Harry Douglas.

Mariota had a 102.9 passer rating in his four preseason outings.

Taylor Heinicke played well for the Vikings, racking up 279 yards and two touchdowns.

Chiefs 24     Rams 17

The Chiefs going undefeated in the preseason was nice, but not as good as Any Reid’s quote afterward. “We’re in America so you play to win whether it’s ping pong or a hot dog eating contest,” coach Andy Reid said. “It’s the preseason, and we understand that.”

I’m not sure that should make us Americans very proud.

The Rams were winless in their four game 2015 launch. Tavon Austin did make the highlight reels with his 43 yard catch that ate up about 99 yards of overall zig zagging.

Texans 14 Cowboys 21

Ryan Mallett was hoping to eat some hotdogs on the sidelines in this last exhibition game. Instead he had to enter the game after third stringer Tom Savage was hurt.

Mallett failed to score once he entered the game so Dallas held on after their late score.

Dallas tried out more young runners in this game, but none are likely to see much action in the real reason, behind the group the Cowboys brought in to replace DeMarco Murray.

Browns 0   Bears 24

Getting shut out will happen if you give up seven sacks and turn over the ball three times like the Browns did. It’s almost like the game didn’t matter.

Terrelle Pryor did very little to earn a roster spot this preseason, but ended up making the cut. The Browns needed to roll the dice since Josh Gordon is off the grid and they need some hope for big plays.

Cardinals 22 Broncos 20

Denver started fast, but the Cardinals finished the drill after a slow start.

The Broncos had a chance to win the game and participation trophy for their last exhibition game, but Brandon McManus missed a long field goal with under a minute to go.

The Cardinals finally got a look at Chris Johnson who got 45 yards on 11 carries.

After the game Montee Ball was released by the Broncos. Another epic college player that just could not make it at the NFL level.

Chargers 12    49ers 14

The Niners’ Bruce Ellington had a 70 yard TD catch to go along with more highlights from Jarryd Hayne.

Levi’s Stadium turf was an issue once again and seems like it will be an issue the entire 2015 season. Opponents won’t be able to protect starters from the awful field now that real games will begin.

Raiders 21 Seahawks 31

Tyler Lockett impressed once again as the Hawks ended their exhibition stretch with a win over Oakland. After the rookie has exploited opponents’ special teams with his return skills this preseason, he did the same to the Raiders defense in this game.

Lockett grabbed a 63 yard TD pass from Russell Wilson.

I have no idea why Wilson even played when every other player of note from both teams never saw the field. Pete Carroll seems to love playing with fire.

Now that we’ve established that Tom Brady is above the law, attention can finally turn to the start of real NFL Football Thursday Night when the New England Patriots take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brady will be on the field for that game—receiver Martavis Bryant, center Maurkice Pouncey, and running back Le’Veon Bell on the other hand will not be there. Pouncey isn’t suspended, he’s just on IR designated to return. Bell and Bryant are both suspended, however, for violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.

So take the Steelers and subtract football’s second-leading rusher in 2014, one of the game’s top up-and-coming receivers, and arguably the best center. That’s a tough loss…

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is overly happy to be taking the field without these guys, especially the rock of his offensive line:

“You can never replace Pouncey…He’s the best in the business. Other guys are going to have to step up. We just have to be careful, myself included and the rest of the line, to not try to do too much. Let [backup center Cody Wallace] do his job and we do ours.”

Nonetheless, Roethlisberger is excited to take the field for the ideal Opening Night game against the defending Super Bowl Champs.

“It will be electric,” said Roethlisberger. “I anticipate it being—especially having Tom out there and with everything that’s going to happen—it’s going to be awesome. It’s the way that NFL football should start.”

Roethlisberger also gave his two cents on the Brady situation and why he believes the suspension was overturned:

“Maybe it’s one of the reasons I knew that Tom would be out there because I know the NFL doesn’t want to start a game without him out there. Nerves will be running. Jitters will be running for everybody…Even old guys like myself, I’m sure I will be nervous.”

I guess that excuses everything. Smoking weed is officially worse than embarrassing the sport of football.

love hip hop hollywood 201 recap images 2015Here we are again for another round of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood. The same cast plus few new faces should make this a very interesting season.

It starts off with the girls, April, Teairra Mari and Monice chilling poolside drinking champagne as they catch up with each other. Of course they talk about their love lives and Teairra Mari’s is dead center since her storyline deals with Ray J and Princess. April tells them that despite all the bull crap, she is having a “pamper party” and let’s Teairra Mari know that she will be inviting Princess as she and April have become cool. Teairra Mari doesn’t want to hear it but said that she’ll play nice.

At the pamper party, Teairra Mari and Princess actually have a heart to heart moment. After she let’s her know what really happened in New Orleans. Teairra Mari feels her and as Princess cries, she gives her a shoulder to lean on and they hug it out. Awwwww.

Next we see Hazel- E in the studio and she wants everyone to know that “it’s time to focus and get Hazel E back to were she needs to be” (yes she refers to herself in third person). She meets producer Milan there as he works with his artist, a rapper named Miles. They talk about her life and how she’s getting back on track. Teairra Mari comes up, since they had a falling out, and Hazel says that she’s willing to make things right since she reached out to her recently after a death in her family.

Milan tells her that he’s ready to settle down with “bae,” marriage, kids and all. We later find out that his bae is the rapper he was recording, Miles and he has a conversation with him about wanting to take himself off the market to be totally committed to him. Miles, however, as a rapper, doesn’t feel comfortable with telling people he’s gay. Not even his family knows so he is def not ready to come out. This is a frustration for Milan.

Then one of the central stories of the show- Ray J and Princess. They both recap their incident in New Orleans when Ray J blamed her for their fight in a hotel. We find out that she didn’t do all that stuff to him (break a rib, tear his ACL) and that she actually took the wrap and went to jail for him since he was on probation. Hmmmm, don’t know if I could do that.

They talk about where they are now and Princess says that she can’t be with him because he’s never going to change. They argue back and forth, she breaks down crying and he consoles her. Later, because he really wants her back home, they spend some time together on a boat and he asks her what he has to do to show her he wants only her. She says first he has to get rid of his apartment, which he commits to doing without blinking an eye.

Now, he decides, unbeknownst to Princess, to have one last single man, stripper party because clearly, he is addicted to “the after party” and “what she won’t know won’t hurt her.” Okay Ray. Princess gets wind and crashes it. And when I say crashes it, I mean throwing buckets of water and bottles of soda. Needless to say, she tells him it’s definitely over for them and he agrees.

Nikki shows up at Omarion’s show at RnB Live to see April and they chat it up. Nikki lets her know that she is single and ready to mingle so that hasn’t given her the chance to try out her new lingerie line. She offers April some pieces to rekindle her thing with her baby daddy Omarion.

So what does the new mom do? She shows up at his rehearsal in some of Nikki’s lingerie. She gives him a little dance, since she feels that they can’t get it in the way they want to because they are always on the road and the baby keeps them busy. Omarion is really feeling it.

Monice, goes to pick up her guy and ya’ll… it’s Rich effing Dollars, from Love and Hip Hop New York. According to Rich, she gets him and has never met a girl like her in all his experience. He might actually be ready to settle down. This is one storyline that I am curious to see unfold. We all know Rich Dollas preys on these young girls.

Newbie Amber, a rapper, is something else. She’s the “baddest rap bitch” in the land and says that the only thing in her life not popping is her love life. She is actually in love with Miles, which makes it weird because he likes men, but because he and Amber are high school sweethearts and their relationship is “complicated” he doesn’t tell her he’s a homosexual. She doesn’t like it and tells him she’s not waiting forever.

In the end, it is clear that the love triangles, issues and uncertainties are going to be major points of interests this season. I’m just here for the comments.
