Victor Cruz Group Action Sting & Nick Gordon’s Murder Charges For Bobbi Kristina Brown

The hump day grind is on and I know you can use a little break. Victor Cruz’s fiance took his womanizing ways into her own hands, Rick Ross jumped up on 50 Cent and Nick Gordon is getting all the heat for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death.

victor cruz fiance group action 2015 gossipVictor Cruz Fiancé Lets the Side Chicks Know… “I know”

What Elaina Watley, fiancé of New York Giants football player Victor Cruz, did in regards to her “maybe one day” husband’s side chicks is pretty beast mode. Reports have been swirling that she sent a group text message to several women that have been linked sexually to her man.

In the epic text message, she lets’ them know who she is and what Cruz says about them among other things and used the message as a kind of first introduction to each other.

“Hello ladies, this is Elaina Victor Cruz’s fiancée, You all know about me and I seem to be the topic of conversations with Vic. I’m sure he’s told you many of things about us and how we don’t exist but given the fact that you all meet him in hotel rooms only, we all know that’s a lie, just as he tells me you all are whores and mean nothing to him.”

I have to hand it to her, she handled it better than I would have (not going to go into that). I do wonder what’s going to happen now. Is she going to stay with him, is he going to address the situation, are any of the chicks going to come forward, etc? I mean, Watley and Cruz are high school sweethearts and have a baby together so she doesn’t NEED to stay with him for money sake. Hmmmm, interesting to see how this unfolds.

Rick Ross Comes for 50 Cent… Disses him about Bankruptcy

We are all clear on the fact that Ricky Rozay and 50 Cent are not friends. In fact, Rick Ross is probably the reason he had to file for Bankruptcy (kind of). So it comes as no surprise that Ross is clowning the NY rapper for filing bankruptcy after being ordered to pay Rick’s baby momma  $7 million.

While speaking to Angie Martinez, he touched on the Meek Mill and Drake beef. Not wanting to throw his artist under the bus by saying he lost, he deflected the conversation to his own beef with 50 Cent.

“You gotta understand perception isn’t always what it is… I was perceived once to be losing to an artist or in a battle, I tripled my worth, less than 12 months. So when you a person with my experience, it’s a lot of good things that come from this.”

He goes on to say that people saying Meek lost the beef is exactly what happened when he and Fiddy went head to head.

“Me as an artist I heard the same thing from everybody that was a part of any label. ‘You making a mistake, what’re you doing… I initiated it. See that’s what y’all don’t know.”

As for his rival filing bankruptcy, he doesn’t see that as a boss move at all.

“You think Jay Z woulda filed bankruptcy? You think Puff woulda filed bankruptcy…That’s your name, that’s your brand.”

He also let us know that he still has love for Drake (of course) and that Meek is going to hit us with some new music inspired by the beef with the Canadian rapper.

nick gordons bobbi kristina brown murder charges 2015 gossipNick Gordon Facing Murder Charges for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Death

Nick Gordon is back in the news (not that he every really left I guess) and this time a civil case is being brought against him in the death of Bobbie Kristina Brown. Her family points to foul play on his part and believe that he did something to BK, which ultimately lead to her passing away. But Gordon maintains that he did nothing and is trying to stop the civil case from moving forward.

The lawsuit, which is calling for him to pay $40 million if found guilty, alleges that he stole money from BK and that he gave her a “toxic cocktail” which lead to the events of January 31st of this year. The story goes, according to her family, that BK and Gordon fought because he believed she was cheating on him. He gave her the drink and then put her face down in the tub of cold water. Because she was in the water for so long, it caused brain damage.

This civil lawsuit is in addition to the criminal investigation that is being conducted where he is the prime suspect. His attorney has filed a motion to stop the suit until all of that is “figured out.”

EMPIRE 203 Fires of Heaven With Pitbull & Timbaland

empire 203 fires of heaven recap cookie pitbull images 2015It’s Fires of Heaven on this episode of “Empire,” and it opens up with Ms. Ford telling reporters that she is disgusted with the fact that Lucious was let out. ALTHOUGH one of the conditions of his bail is not to go into Empire, that’s okay as he says. “I am the empire.

Cookie goes to Hakeem’s house and she finds out that he is has slept with the lead singer of his new super girl group. She doesn’t like the fact that the little girl is there and she tells him to come out because he’s late for his interview with Sway.

During the interview sway speaks to Lucious and Hakeem at the same time and the young Lyon make sit known that his new label is going to take over starting with his newest girl group. Cookie is not happy about this.

Meanwhile, Lucious and Anika have their first meeting since last season. It is not on the best of terms as he brings up her sleeping with Hakeem and he asks her if it was worth it. She doesn’t’ answer. He tells her that he wants her to give him the scoop on Lyon Dynasty and what is going on. “Lyon Dynasty is going to fail” is what he tells her. She listens to what he has to say and seems to “get in bed with him.”

Back at the studio, since Hakeem screwed up and told Sway that they have a girl group coming out in “just three days”, they have to make it happen with Valentina, his newest jump off, being one of the girls. Her cockiness is off the chain and she doesn’t listen to anyone, including Cookie, who is not having it. They get it together and the girls actually sound pretty good.

Andre calls a meeting with Lucious for lunch, you know since he doesn’t want to be with Lyon Dynasty anyway. He tells him his plans about getting back into Empire and all the things he can do to help but Lucious does not want to hear it. While they eat, Jamal calls Lucious about a girl at Empire talking about Lucious signing her. He tells his son to sign her but she doesn’t want to hear it since he’s not there and she and her crew walks out.

Anika pays a visit to Cookie and let her know that Lucious wants everything that Lyon Dynasty has done so far. Cookie asks her why she is trying to be buddy, buddy with her and Anika tells her, “’It’s very important for me to hurt Lucious.”

So at Lucious’ coming home party, Jamal and Pit Bull performs their newest single and everyone is having a good time. Then Cookie highjacks the whole thing with her own DJ and her number one artist… Hakeem Lyon. He comes out and does his newest song and his father does not crack a smile. Then Timberland comes out for a cameo on the song, which is only fitting because he’s the new music director of the show. It is hot as hell. Timberland is hot as hell.

Cookie’s men tussle with Lucious’ men and they hurry out of the club. As she rushes to her car, Pitbull catches her by the arm to let her know she has a stage in Miami if they put on a show as good as the one they did there.

Things blow up after the performance and Lyon Dynasty becomes the hottest name in town. Dre shows up at the office to speak to his mother who offers him to come back to Lyon Dynasty. He tells her that he can’t and also lets her know that he and Rhonda are expecting. In her excitement, she suggests that Dre uses his “unborn child” as leverage with this father to get back into Empire. He initially tells her no but then that he will think about it.

He pays a visit to his father and tells him that Rhonda is pregnant. Lucious stops for a second and asks him if he’s worried about the child’s mental health. He has another flash back to his mother (Kelly Rowland).  He comes to and they hug it out. He then pulls him close by the back of his neck and tells him “You are breaking my heart using this to get what you want with me.” Lucious kicks him out and tells him to run to his mother. Damn he’s cold.

Back on the streets, Lucious and his people pay a visit to Frankie’s (Chris Rock) daughter who is in the middle of battle rapping. In the middle of the battle, her opponent says something that makes her stop in her tracks. She pulls out a gun and just as she pulls the trigger, Lucious stops her and begs her to not throw her life away.

As he and his people walk back to their car, the prosecutor, Ms. Ford “meets” him at and pretty much threatens him with charging him with murder letting him know that’s “only the beginning of what I have planned for you.”

In the studio, Becky tells Jamal that he needs to get over whatever happened with his mother because she was the only one that could handle his father and be there form him. “She loves you.”

At Lyon Dynasty, Cookie coaches the girls on their choreography and is super hard on them. Valentina tells her that she can’t take it any more, “I’m a singer, I’m not doing this.” Cookie checks her, letting her know that sleeping with her son does not mean anything, “Everybody wants to be Beyoncé but not put in the work.”

Swallowing his pride, Jamal pays a visit to his mother at Lyon Dynasty and just as he’s about to walk in, his father rolls up and stops him. Jamal tells him he needs his mother and Lucious says you don’t need anyone. No man or woman can do it for you. “You need a God to produce you.” Then and there, they vow to work together.

In the end, while at Sway’s again, Cookie and Hakeem can’t find Valentina. Lucious shows up and drops the bomb on them that Valentina is the newest Empire artist. He is a dirty, dirty dog. Not only did he buy her, he bought a controlling interest in all urban radio stations making it nearly impossible for Lyon Dynasty to get any air time.

But that’s okay, because everyone knows, “You can’t keep Cookie down.”

Lucious just keeps showing why the Lyon is the king of the jungle.

“Empire’s” showrunner did a great interview and gives some insight into what’s coming up for that Lucious Cookie duo.

Let’s talk about that dinner scene. How did the idea come about for Cookie to pull the runner off the table?
In season one, episode six, there’s a very memorable scene in which Cookie turns up at the restaurant and she thinks that she’s there for a hookup with Lucious and it turns out he’s announcing his engagement to Anika and she’s wearing a fur coat with nothing but sexy lingerie underneath. Originally, as scripted, she turned over the table. At the time, we thought, “This is maybe too much — there’s so much happening in this scene that Cookie doesn’t need to actually turn over the table.” And I was just worried that Taraji would feel like we’re just pushing her too far because this was during the era of Cookie barging into offices and all that so we just pulled it back. A little later, we were doing an event and Taraji said to me, “But I do want to turn over a table one day.” So there you have it. And now, she came up with this fabulous moment to end the scene, which I think was unbeatable.

That moment at the dinner table was so Cookie and fun to watch, but also very reflective of Empire vs. Lyon Dynasty. How bad will it get between Lucious and Cookie?
That dinner scene, that’s the declaration of war. Hence forward, it’s on. There will be strikes and counter-strikes and escalations.

So there’s no turning back with Lyon Dynasty? Cookie and Hakeem are sticking by their record label.
Yes. They both are passionate, each for his or her own reason. They both have a lot to prove. Hakeem really feels passed over — his entire life objective is to prove to everyone, even his mother, who’s now his partner, that Lucious chose the wrong son, and that he’s been overlooked and underestimated. It’s an incredible arc of growth and determination for him. Cookie came back to get what’s hers and had the rug pulled out from under her just like she pulled that runner from Lucious’ table. She’s done this once and she’s now going to build her own. I think she believes that with great conviction.

Not only did Lucious get dissed in his own home, but also at his own party. He looked deeply upset when Hakeem came out on stage at his party.
He does. It enrages him. And beyond that, Lucious isn’t a man who likes to be humiliated in any way, and if there’s ever a way to make Lucious Lyon more dangerous, it’s to shine a light on him in public in that way.

Lucious makes a comment in the episode that Hakeem will come back to Empire. Does he still want him back or does he feel betrayed since he’s left for Lyon Dynasty?
He wants his family under his control and he wants to own Hakeem. I think in his heart, he’s always believed in his talent and needed to teach him a lesson, but really still wants that artist and that son to be under his own thumb so he can make him into the artist and man that he thinks he ought to be.

Lucious’ relationship with Andre is also not at a high point right now. What should we take away from their sad scene together?
We’re beginning to learn about Lucious Lyon — his childhood, his past, what made him who he is, the damage. We’re getting new insight into the damage that might have made this man that certainly has some of the qualities of a sociopath, and also certainly some fine characters. We’re learning that in a way that we never have before. Lucious Lyon had a mother who was mentally ill. That’s something that his family doesn’t know and, in particular, Andre doesn’t know. The audience is learning ahead of Andre. It’s incredibly meaningful to Andre’s character and identity, as well.

How did Lucious’ mother (Kelly Rowland) shape him into the man he became?
He loved her in a way that only a child could love his mother, and she hurt him in a way that a mother could hurt a child by not being there for him and being abusive to him.

Jamal is also upset with Lucious because he’s focusing so hard on Freda. Will Lucious really work hard to make Jamal a huge star?
Lucious respects Jamal’s talent and his ability, but there’s always going to be a little discomfort between them. Jamal is still his gay son and he’s not as comfortable hanging with him, and he’s kind of running from it in a way. Hakeem is more his kind of guy, and Jamal recognizes that Lucious is not working with him and putting the time in with him that he put in with Hakeem and that Cookie has put in with him.

Is Freda going to be Empire’s next breakout star?
Clearly, it’s a little bit of a twisted relationship because Lucious killed Freda’s father (played by Chris Rock in episode one) and Freda doesn’t know. Lucious has the hubris to believe that can all be overcome because he’s the greatest artist there ever was and it’s a gift to Freda. And I think that there’s a little bit of this feeling that he can atone for the sins that he perpetrated on her by taking her under his wing. He also just sees a real talent and he wants to own it because he always wants to own talent. He can put everything off the side for that — not everybody else can, but Lucious can.

Speaking of talent, Lucious stole away Valentina (Becky G). That’s a low blow to Hakeem, both personally and professionally. How will he react?
Hakeem is either going to fold because he got hit so hard or it’s going to just reinvigorate his conviction. That’s what remains to be seen — is he going to give up now that his father has beaten him down so hard?

Is there any hope for the girl group, now that Valentina left Lyon Dynasty for Empire?
Cookie never really believed in the girl group all that much, but wanted Hakeem to have something that he was excited about. So the question is, will Cookie continue to support this or is she going to try to re-focus Hakeem? Because she desperately needs him to be producing as an artist and working on things that are going to pay off.

Now that Valentina is going over to Empire, does that mean will see more of her working with Lucious?
No, not this season. We love Becky G, but we made a two-episode deal with her to play this great little story arc, but we won’t be seeing her again this season. But we had a lot of fun with her, and she really is a little spitfire.

Another spitfire: Anika. Is Boo Boo Kitty on Cookie’s side or Lucious’s side?
The Lyons are going to make that girl crazy. She got caught up with a very twisted family, and there’s no way that it’s not going to take a toll on somebody who I think started out as a pretty wholesome person.

Timbaland performed for the first time on the show. He’s the exec music producer, but why did he want to get in front of the camera and sing on the track?
That was a little kind of stealthy way of giving the audience a gift. He wrote that song and I think it was one of the best songs that Hakeem has ever done. If we’re doing warring kingdoms, and we’re having Pitbull performing on Lucious’ side, to have Timbaland on the Cookie side, it just felt like it signaled a real battle.

How was it having Pitbull on set?
It was so awesome to have Pitbull on the show, and it’s one of the first huge superstars we’ve had on “Empire” who came and performed as himself. Really a cool thing for us to be able to do in our second season. And, of course, Pitbull would be a friend of Lucious Lyon.

Speaking of guest stars, I noticed the second Beyonce name-drop this season in tonight’s episode. Any plans to have her on the show?
It goes without saying: we’d love to have Beyonce on the show. If that ever were to happen, it would be fabulous and thrilling. I think I read somewhere that we reference Beyonce a lot, but I think that’s just the world of the show — people in that world reference Beyonce a lot, and in the world of Empire, it’s a given that these folks would be talking about Beyonce. She would be a touchstone.

Any details on Mariah Carey’s guest role yet? Would she play herself?
There’s nothing official yet. Nothing official to report. It’s still at the conversation stage and very much schedule-driven. Something that we all really, really want do, but we haven’t yet figured out if it’s going to work with everyone’s schedule.

So she hasn’t filmed yet?
No.

EVEREST Movie Review 2015

everest movie review images 2015In a world where people are looking for the next thing to knock their socks off, I can’t say climbing the tallest heights known to man is up there on my list of “how to become famous” (yes I have a list). While I may not be the daredevil of thrilling inspiration, there are a lot of people who are or try to be and that, in essence is what Everest it all about. It is also takes a look at what happens when people who really don’t know what they are doing try to do something as lofty as ascend the highest peak known to man.

It tells the harrowing story of a group of climbers, thrill seekers and rich folk who set out on a trek up the great Everest in 1996. In fact, it is based on a true story and recounts the ins and out of what happened those fateful days on top of that mountain.

Starring an A-List cast with Jason Clake, Josh Brolin and Jake Gyllenhaal as title characters, Everest is a pretty intense film. From the standpoint of history accuracy, which a lot of people who lived through the situation aren’t too thrilled with the fact that it lacks that, I can’t say that it was bad or good. As far as the visual appeal and the way it makes you feel seeing these people go through this life or death endeavor, it is enthralling and edge of your seat frightening.

No, it is not a horror film but the things that they go through are horrific. And since I am already the kind of person who finds it hard to watch movies where people are in less than ideal situations, it was all the more terrifying for me. The cinematography of Everest is definitely there. You see it and you’re just in awe. The feel of being on that mountain is certainly there as well as understanding the danger of the elements. You feel the pain of Josh Brolin’s frost bitten face, you feel the desperation and anguish in his wife’s voice (played by Robin Wright) as she speaks to him via a walkie talkie and you feel the fear and sick to your stomach look that the operators in a tent have as they try to help guide the climbers up the mountain and through the many obstacles they face. With Everest, you feel.

With all of that, depending on what you are looking for with this movie, that expectation will really determine your overall experience and whether or not you are “feeling it.” There are some boring moments which is expected and there are some moments that really do take your breath away. I am a disaster movie buff, I love them and this, to me, falls along those lines so all the frills and thrills are there, once again, for me. But if you are one who truly cares about the exposition being close to the real events as they unfolded in 1996, this movie may not be for you.

jake gyllenhaal everest movie review 2015As I do with all the movies I watch, especially ones that are known for being based on true stories that were pretty big news events, I research them. I want to know how much of what I am seeing on the screen actually happened and if the makers of the film cared enough to keep some kind of parallel semblance in their cinematic efforts. From my understanding, however, that is not what really happened here, which is somewhat disappointing, but not to the point of writing this movie off as a total load of crap. As the director and other players behind the film have said, there were just some things that weren’t important to the telling of this particular angle of the series of events. I can respect that. Not always but here, I’ll take it.

Everest delivers on the suspense and the visual grandeur. It delivers on making you think about how you would handle being in the situation. And honestly, it delivers on making you think twice about taking that trek to the top of Everest if that notion has ever crossed your mind. I can get over all the other questionable stuff for those reasons. I give it a B.

PARANORMAL WITNESS 407 Demon House Recap

paranormal witness demon house recap images 2015It’s a Demon House on this episode of “Paranormal Witness,” as a couple buys a home and moves in. A month later they threw a birthday party at the house. The mom, Jeanine, went to the store to get things while her mother stayed in the house to decorate. The older mother said she felt like she was being watched and she was hearing noises. When Jeanine got back she said her mother looked more scared than ever. She went into her house and looked around. Her husband, AJ, came in the room and startled her but she just brushed it off when she told him her mom was scared of something in the house.

In the kitchen Jeanine was doing dishes when she felt an icy breeze on her neck and looked around the room but saw no one. She went back to doing dishes and dropped one when she felt something poking her. Her heart was racing and she froze in place. Then she was yanked backwards and ran out of the house having trouble breathing. She said she didn’t want to go back in the house but she had to go in and get her heart medicine.

She ran into the house and went to the counter in the kitchen, grabbed her medicine and took it. Jeanine said she questioned if she was going crazy. She told AJ something was wrong with the house and he still thought it was nothing. Jeanine started to believe AJ was right.

Days later Jeanine and AJ’s daughter was playing and talking to herself. Jeanine went in to see her daughter and heard a conversation taking place. Jeanine didn’t see anyone and asked her daughter who she was talking to. Her daughter responded she was talking to her friend. Jeanine tried to brush it off and not show how nervous and scared she was. Jeanine invited her dad, Jeff, to the house. Jeff said he was a skeptic and had to see it before he would believe the house was haunted. They saw a chain swinging on the front door of the house. Then it sounded like something was thrown on the floor. Jeff screamed at the sound to stop. Jeanine got clawed in the back and felt like she was being burned from the inside out. She said there were scratches all over her back.

When AJ got home Jeanine told him she was sending their kids to stay with her parents. She told AJ she was terrified of the house and showed him the scratch marks on her back. He still didn’t think much of it. Then a door in the house suddenly slammed shut. He said he witnessed this happening and Jeanine said that validated what happened to her in the house. They hung religious items all over the house hoping it would help. When he finished hanging them all the lights went off in the kitchen. The couple then rushed out of the house. He said he now thought there was a presence in the house. Jeanine looked for evidence of what was haunting their house so it could be gotten rid of. She left a recorder running in the house with no one there. A half hour later she called her kids into the family’s camper. Then she grabbed the recorder and took it out on the porch. She listened to the recording until she heard a growling noise and a voice saying “she will die.” She said the voice wanted to kill her.

A week later a wind picked up in the backyard and Jeanine went quiet and heard her kids in the house. She didn’t want to have to go into the house but heard the kids upstairs. She stuck her head inside and hollered at the kids to get downstairs. She ran upstairs to get them and the second floor was quiet. Her kids were not up there. She went into a room, saw it was empty, turned around to leave and was pushed down to the floor and held down. Something had its hands on her and she couldn’t get up no matter how hard she tried. Then she heard a demonic voice telling her to look under. She pulled back the carpet and saw satanic symbols on the floor. AJ saw the symbols on the floor.

paranormal witness 407 demon house recap 2015 iamgesThey called a minister to the house to help make it safe. He did a deliverance and cleansed the house. Jeanine and AJ followed him around the house and Jeanine started to feel sick. She started slurring her words and had to be held up. She said she could feel negative energy surrounding her and she could barely breathe her chest was so tight. An hour after the minister got to the house he told them their problems with the house were over. The minister left and Jeanine was just sitting in a chair. AJ took her to her mother’s house very early in the morning. Then she spoke in a demonic voice and her eyes were suddenly black. AJ and Jeanine’s dad carried her into her parent’s house. Jeanine stared at her mother and spoke in the same demonic voice. They read prayers from the Bible, which did nothing for Jeanine. Suddenly she said “it’s in me.” The family minister performed an exorcism on Jeanine. AJ and her dad had to hold her down for it. The sign of the cross was made on the top of her forehead. Then Jeanine opened her eyes and snapped out of it. Jeanine said their dream home became a nightmare.

FRESH OFF THE BOAT 203 Shaq Motors Recap

This week on Fresh Off the Boat, Jessica and Louis deal with the ups and downs of married life and raising three Asian boys in Orlando… as they always do.

Louis is set on being a cool dad and a good husband as he toils over what to get Jessica for their 12-year anniversary. He believes he has the perfect gift as he and the boys look back over the gifts he’s gotten her over the years. Being that she is difficult to shop for, he plans on giving her the romantic experience they had on their wedding day- buying their family mini van. So he plans to recreate the magic by buying a second car, which is what they did on their wedding day. Sweet.

As he takes Jessica to buy the car (which she has no idea they are doing) he tries to keep it romantic, and tell his sons, “don’t wait up boys we’ll be gone for hours.” This serves as the perfect time for Evan, the youngest, to throw a party… a tea party… that he invites his brothers to.

They meet Evan in the yard and as they begin, two of the neighborhood power walkers come by and see his collection of beanie babies who are all guests at the party as well. They are impressed with it and one of them offers to buy the white union for $10, as she collects them too. The other lady blabs her mouth that that particular one is worth a fortune and can fetch real money down at the mall. This gives Eddie and idea.

He later that day dreams that Evan tells him it’s okay to sell his collection of beanie babies, so he does and buys the hotdog slip and slide that he wanted so badly.

Meanwhile, Louis and Jessica make their way to Shaquille O’Neal Motors and Jessica seems to almost have a panic attack. She looks a little flustered, and Louis tries to get her excited by telling her that she gets to negotiate just like she did on the night of their wedding. When the salesman comes out to greet them, Jessica is no where to be found. For whatever reason, she high tails it out of there and Louis is left looking cray, cray.

He looks everywhere and finally finds her in a bar, sulking. She tells him to sit down. “there is something I need to tell you.” She tells him that on the day of their wedding, she opted out of the free floor mats which to her means that she messed up the first thing that they did as husband and wife. She refers to it as the biggest mistake of her life, which is kind of weird because come on, it’s only floor mats. Louis then walks out disappointed because to her it was the biggest failure and to him, it was the first time they signed their name together.

When he gets back to the house, she has bought flowers, real flowers (you know she’s super cheap) as a way to apologize to him. He went ahead and bought the car without her. She goes outside to see it and is very impressed. That is until Louis tells her how he paid sticker price, “and not a penny more.”  Her eyes go dim and it’s like a tiny fire burns in them, as she can’t believe he didn’t try to pay less, which is, of course, what she would have done.

Scene switch to them back in the dealership and Jessica giving the keys back to the salesman. She realizes Louis paid sticker price just so she could come back down through the doors she vowed never to enter. He picks her up like he did on their wedding day, carries her into the dealership and she declares, “we want to buy that car…. Again.”

fresh off the boat boys ii men recap 2015 images

Baffled, the salesmans feels a certain kind of satisfaction seeing them come back in. “Buyers remorse” he tells them. Little does he know these two are pros and they actually do a test drive, in the same car that they bought and returned, with him in it… to Tampa. Then, they go through every “manager” in the office and get it down to a price they can deal with. Just as they are about to sign it, Jessica realizes, based on how the last salesman is acting, that he has a manager. They work him over and come to find out that the top man, the man in charge, the man who has the final say… is Shaquila O’Neal himself.  Shaq is actually a great comedy actor here. He’s entertaining and engaging and steals every scene he’s in. They get the price down and he throws in one of his shoes’ signed and everything.

They return home and give it to Eddie who can’t believe what he’s holding. As he thinks about how much it means to him, he realizes that Evan felt the same way about his beanie babies and sells his shoe to buy his brother’s collection back. Awwww, such a good brother.

Everyone gets what they want and the Huang crew keeps it moving.

LAW & ORDER SVU 1704 Whoopi Goldberg Earns Another Emmy Nom

law order svu institutional fail whoopi goldberg 2015 imagesWhoopi Goldberg easily earns another Emmy nom on this episode of “Law & Order: SVU,” as a child buys a snack from a convenience store and the clerk asks him where his mom is. Benson got a call to go to the convenience store. When she got there Finn was there because the boy wouldn’t talk to anyone and the police didn’t know what to do with him.

Olivia talked to the boy but he wouldn’t respond to her either. Eventually she got him to say his name was Bruno. Rollins and Sonny talked to parents at a local playground to try and find out who the boy’s mom is. Benson and Sonny went to child protective services Benson told a worker there that the boy was found abandoned.

Benson and Sonny went to the house of the employee and found an unconscious child named Keisha locked in a cage. In the hospital, Benson and Sonny were told Keisha was starved and dehydrated so bad her organs were shutting down.

Finn found the mother of Bruno and Keisha and arrested her. The mom said she starved Keisha because she wouldn’t stop crying. Benson and Sonny told Rollins and Finn that Keisha had just passed away. Sonny and Benson talked to the boss at child protective services and she said she had visited two weeks prior to Keisha and Bruno’s house. The woman swore Keisha looked healthy two weeks ago. Benson said they would need the laptop computer of the case worker, Keith, that was assigned to Keisha and Bruno. Reports were backdated by the case worker after Keisha was checked in on.

Benson said child protective services was responsible for Keisha’s death. The ADA for SVU did a press conference regarding Keisha’s death and said her mother had been charged with homicide. He said Keith’s fraud was covered up by his boss. Both Keith and his boss were arrested. The judge set a $50,000 bail for Keith.

Keisha’s mother was in the hospital and begged to be allowed to go to Keisha’s funeral. She said she hadn’t seen her case worker in months before Keisha died. Keith and his lawyer talked to Sonny and the  ADA.

The team found out other case workers with child protective services had falsified paper work from home visits. Sonny went to talk to Keith at his request. Keith told the ADA his boss told him he didn’t have to make all his home visits as long as there was a record that he had made those visits.

In court the ADA showed the jury pictures of Keisha. He then said NYPD detectives found Keisha locked in a cage in her mother’s house. The mother’s lawyer said Keith was responsible for her death. He said his client;s only failure was trusting the case worker that failed them. The doctor that treated Keisha testified that the condition Keisha was in could have happened within a few weeks. Keith testified and said that he made the wrong choice when handling Keisha’s case. Keith said he followed orders because he wanted to keep his job.

Bruno was brought to the jail so his mother could see him. In court Keith’s boss said she didn’t know how bad things were for Keisha and she wished Keith had come to her sooner. The ADA confronted Keith’s boss on giving him more cases than she ever had in the past. She said she asked Keith to meet with her when he fell behind in filing his paperwork from home visits. She said God himself could not do her job and that the ADA wouldn’t last an hour in her world. She also said everyone wanted to make her the scapegoat. They determined she had had a breakdown in court and she was removed from the trial.

The Chief of Police told Benson her reform of child services allowed her to have a new Sergeant at the station. The Chief said his son would be the Sergeant.

SURVIVOR SECOND CHANCE 3103: New Tribe & New Rat

survivor second chance we got a rat recap 2015 imagesEverything changes on this episode of “Survivor: Second Chance,” while the Takeo tribe was at camp. Spencer said he is not the strongest player in the game but he wants to change that. Terry said he went from the bottom to the top with no fear of being voted out. The two tribes were brought together the next day. Jeff announced they were switching from two tribes to three, with six people in each camp. The third tribe would have their supplies but have to build their shelter all over again. Joe said his tribe was stronger than the other two.

Angkor, the new tribe, arrived at their camp. Peih-Gee Law said starting over was weird and that two of the people in her tribe already needed to be voted out. Tasha said she was in the minority in the new tribe.

The Takeo tribe got to know each other. Terry said the luck he had getting into this tribe was “sick.” Joe broke a chicken’s neck so they could cook it for dinner. Ciera said she and her three allies in the tribe should be fine.

The Bayon tribe talked about their beach. Stephen said he loved the new tribe and was happy to be out of “Camp Macho.” Spencer said in the past he had played logically but he had a hard time understanding peoples’ emotions. Spencer confided in Jeremy and said he cared what Jeremy thought. Jeremy told him he was over thinking his relationship with his girlfriend. Jeremy said he thought he and Spencer could have a bond. Stephen said the tribe had an advantage over their competitors. The tribe members searched for the hidden immunity idol. Jeremy said he has to work harder this time since it is his second chance at the game.

Angkor battled rain and Tasha said she knew what it was like to not have food or shelter in the game. Abi said she and Peih-Gee had issues and she didn’t know what to do about it.

This week’s immunity challenge involved pushing a cart through an obstacle course, finding a key in a chest, taking the cart apart and putting it back together to form a puzzle. The Takeo tribe was the first to win immunity for the week. The Bayon tribe was the second to win immunity, leaving the Angkor tribe to go to Tribal Council this week. The Angkor tribe told Jeff Probst that they had a rat on their tribe and the rat was Jeff (the castaway, not the host.)

The Angkor tribe went back to camp and Andrew said he thought he was going home before, but now it might be Jeff. Andrew said Jeff handed him ammunition on a silver platter. Peih-Gee questioned if Tasha would be loyal to her and the rest of the tribe. Abi said she didn’t know how much she could trust Peih-Gee. Peih-Gee said she wanted Abi gone. Andrew said he couldn’t believe how quickly everything changed in the tribe. Jeff said he would use all this drama to keep himself in the game.

At Tribal Council that night Peih-Gee said anyone in the minority in their tribe was in trouble. Jeff asked Jeff about him being accused of being a rat by Tasha. She said she wanted to take Jeff out tonight so they wouldn’t have to worry about loyalty later on. Abi said she had a strong feeling she was going home tonight based on conversations that they left her out of. Jeff said Savage and Tasha were in control of that night’s vote. The votes were then placed and Jeff Probst announced that Peih-Gee was going home.

Nicki Minaj vs Miley Cyrus Continues Along With Jay Leno & Jimmy Kimmel

jay leno still no fan of jimmy kimmel 2015 gossipJay Leno appeared on the Today show on Wednesday morning to promote his new TV show, Jay Leno’s Garage. During the interview, Jay revealed he still keeps in contact with his former late night competitors such as Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Seth Myers.

However, the late night legend noticeably left out one notable name: Jimmy Kimmel.

Jay went on to speak about his feud with Kimmel, saying, “[Kimmel] comes from radio…where you find an enemy and then you make up a phony battle. I never had a problem with the guy, but he chose to go after me. And that’s fine, welcome to show business.”

Earlier in August, Jay discussed Kimmel’s ratings saying, “The most element you can have in doing a late night show is kindness. Because the show makes you arrogant. I think that’s Jimmy Kimmel’s problem. I think he’s a talented guy, I think he’s funny. But he has a mean streak, and it comes across.”

He went on to elaborate saying, “[Jimmy] does this thing where he takes Halloween candy from kids and the kids cry. What am I missing here? It is funny I guess, but it’s mean-based. I think that’s why he’s not high in the ratings.”

nicki minaj vs miley cyrus continues 2015 gossipThe Nicki Minaj -Miley Cyrus feud continues.

It began when Miley discussed Minaj’s Twitter feud with Taylor Swift, where Nicki implied you had to have skinny girls in your music video to win an MTV VMA. Miley told the New York Times that the whole feud was very much caused by Nicki being “not too kind” and being a sore loser.

Days after Miley’s interview with the Times, Nicki ended up winning a VMA for Best Hip-Hop video for “Anaconda.” After accepting her award, Nicki was supposed to bring attention back to Miley who was the host of the award show. However, Nicki decided to call out Miley for her actions, saying, “Back to this b**** who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what’s good?”

While Miley simply brushed off Nicki’s confrontation, it is clear Nicki isn’t quite over it yet.

The rapper is featured in New York Time Magazine’s Culture Issue, where she gives an interview discussing her feud with Cyrus. In it, Nicki explains, “the fact that [Miley felt] upset with me speaking on something that affects black women makes me feel like [Miley has] some big balls.” She continued by saying, “[Miley is in] videos with black men, and [she’s] bringing out black women on [her] stages, but [she] don’t want to know how black women feel about something that’s so important? Come on, [she] can’t want the good without the bad. If [Miley] wants to enjoy our culture and our lifestyle, bond with us, dance with us, have fun with us, twerk with us, rap with us, then [she] should also want to know what affects us, what is bothering us, what we feel is unfair to us. [She] shouldn’t not want to know that.”

It will be interesting to see how Miley, the outspoken pop star, responds to Nicki’s comments.

fixtures to watch in 2016 qualifiers portugal vs denmark 2015Republic of Ireland vs Germany

The reigning world champions will travel to Republic of Ireland for their next 2016 European Championship qualifying tie. The Germans are currently sitting atop the standings in Group D, two points ahead of Poland and four clear of the Irishmen. A win for Martin O’Neill’s side could put them second in the group if other results go their way, while a draw will all but secure their place for a playoff spot. However, a win for the Germans will take them a step closer to topping the group when the final rounds of the qualification games conclude. Joachim Low’s men have won six out of their eight games – they have drawn one and lost one to Poland – and it will be difficult for the Irish to stop the reigning world champions.

Portugal vs Denmark

In a top of the table clash in Group I, Portugal will play host to Denmark on 8th October. The Portuguese are currently sitting atop the standings in their group, having won five and lost only once – against Albania – from their first six games. The Danes are three points behind the table toppers with three wins, as many draws and a solitary defeat from their seven games. A win for Fernando Santos’ men will secure their place in the finals due to be played in France next summer, whereas three points for the Scandinavians will increase the gap between themselves and third placed Albania. Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t quite turned on the style in the Euro qualifiers yet, and it remains to be seen if he finally lights up the qualifiers with a superlative display against the Danes.

Spain vs Luxembourg

The reigning European champions are sitting comfortably atop their group standings with 21 points from their eight games so far. They have seven wins and a solitary defeat in the qualifiers so far. Vicente de Bosque’s men are two points clear of second placed Slovakia, who are lying in third, while Friday’s opponents are second from the bottom with a mere four points in their kitty. Spain have seen a huge change in personnel since their disastrous 2014 World Cup campaign as Xabi Alonso and Xavi Hernandez have bid adieu to the national team. Andres Iniesta is currently nursing an injury and it will give Del Bosque a chance to try out some of the exciting talents at his disposal.

England vs Estonia

Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions will play host to European minnows Estonia at Wembley in their penultimate Euro 2016 qualifier. England have sealed their place in the finals due to be held in France next summer as they sit nine points clear of Switzerland in Group E. The hosts will be led by Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney and the forward, who became the all-time leading goalscorer for the Three Lions in their last qualifier, will be hoping to reclaim some of his lustre in a match that is expected to be cakewalk for the 1966 World Cup winners.

LOVE & HIP HOP HOLLYWOOD 205: Mum’s A Word Not A Flower

love hip hop hollywood 205 recap images 2015Moniece and her mother, Marla, have a heart to heart (kind of) about the state of their relationship and life in this episode of “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.” The strain on their bond or lack thereof is evident and Moinece wants to move past it. She also wants to introduce her mother to the new man in her life Rich Dollaz. Marla’s main issue with her daughter is that she feels her priorities are out of whack and that she needs to be a better mother to her son Cameron.

Speaking of Rich, he made the move to Los Angeles to further his relationship with Moniece, which is very interesting because if you remember him from LHHNY, he’s a bit of a player. And he kind of preys on younger girls but hey, if he says that she is the one and he’s ready to settle down, then good for him. Moniece lets him know that she set up a dinner for them to meet with her mother and he is, understandably, hesitant but gives in.

At the dinner Marla and Rich go round for round, mainly because Marla goes in on him from the very beginning. Like she has no chill and is rude and invasive when grilling him about his playboy status AND his child support cases, which he was not having. He puts her in her place and she, from what we saw, is left speechless.

Then there is Nia, Nas and Soulja Boy and this whole situation is just… mmmm.  Soulja calls a meeting with Nas and surprise, Nia shows up too, which the side chick didn’t know. They start off calm but escalates pretty quickly. Nas goes in on Soulja and busts him out about being in her text messages saying, “I love you and I want you back.” Nia asks to see the texts on her phone, which Soulja wasn’t prepared for. Nia wasn’t prepared for what she saw in Nas’ phone either and said during her confessional that she can see why Nas is confused, Soulja is leading her on. Nas is pissed, Nia is pissed and he’s caught so he tells them that he doesn’t need neither of them because there are “millions of bitches” waiting to get with him. Nas tells Nia “you’re welcome” to which she says, “I will never thank a hoe for anything” and they fight. After the crew breaks it up, Soulja acts like nothing happened, gives Nia a necklace and kisses her. How she didn’t walk away after all of that is beyond me?

Miles and Milan have moved in together and things seems to be going okay until Milan requests for him to let Amber know that the two men are together. Miles feels the pressure and even during his luncheon meeting with Amber, comes close to telling her but just can’t bring himself to hurt his “best friend.” She of course is still in love with him and thinks that he’s just holding out and needs more time (which she is not willing to give him).

After finally moving all his stuff in, Miles expresses his concern about how Amber is going to feel about them being together and only living right down the street. Milan doesn’t want to hear it and tells him to do it or he will and if that means he loses Miles then so be it.

Miles says that he understands and makes plans to do it, actually driving to her house but he backs out because he just isn’t ready. The next day, Milan goes off on Miles telling him that he followed him to Amber’s house. They have a big fight and he kicks him out of the apartment.

Shanda and Willie Taylor are the newest couple to the LHHH family. They moved to L.A. from Chicago so that Willie, who used to be a part of the group Day 26, can pursue his solo career. They don’t have jobs and have money saved up for six months to pay their rent and bills, which makes Shanda nervous and anxious. She feels that she may need to go back to work, stripping, and Willie says no. He asks her to trust him that he’ll take care of the family. She says that she does but it’s clear she’s having trouble doing that.

In the end, Ray J is in Miami shooting a music video with Lil Wayne. After speaking with one of his “mentors” he concludes that Princess needs to show that she’s down or it’s over. God will let whatever is supposed to happen, happen. She is with him in Miami but he doesn’t let her come to the video shoot. She shows up anyway and they have a “conversation.” He mentions her befriending Teairra Marie (TM) and about them going to Vegas, which lets her know what she’s felt all along- TM ain’t shit. They argue and she tells him that she doesn’t want to be in a relationship with him anymore and that’s that. Ray J and Princess are over.

This was a good one and next week’s previews look to be explosive.

SHE’S GOT GAME 109 Recap

shes got game 109 recap images 2015shes got game 109 recap images 2015The family affair continues on this episode of She’s Got Game, as momma and grandmomma are still at the house and the girls are still trying to impress them. The remaining four girls have a tough fight on their hands because the two women in Game’s life do not play.

They get back to the house after dinner and Game’s mom tells him that they had fun but the food was horrible. Jennifer is glad that it is over and she kind of takes everyone’s dislike of the resturant personally that they didn’t like it. Briona is back at the house from the hospital looking pretty rough.

Jennifer shares her experience with Game in the tube with Rebecca who asks him a lot of questions. She pretty much she says that they just chilled and didn’t see or do anything, to which Rebecca thought was crazy. “If I were in the tub with Game we would have done more than just talk.”

Game later speaks to his mother and grandmother to get their opinion on the girls. They love Rebecca, and kind of love Shyona too. They think that Jennifer will “be your friend for life” and that Briona is “too young.” Game says it’s too stressful and his grandmother says he needs to rely on God when choosing. As for going out on a date, they tell him to take Rebecca. He tasks his momma and her momma to put the other “girls to sleep.”  The other girls are not feeling it, especially Shyona.

Back at the house, Shyona and Jennifer chop it up about how they feel about Rebecca getting another date. Shyona says that she has a lot of feelings for Game and it’s hard for her deal with the other girls that try to get his affection.  While on their date, Rebecca is impressed with it but lets her jealousy get the best of her as she asks him, “Are you going to bring Shy here in three days.” He looks at her speechless and somewhat offended.

The next morning, Jennifer and Shyona make breakfast for momma and grandma and the love it. Briona on the other hand, just rolls right in and pretty much doesn’t say anything. Rebecca also comes in with Game in front of his mom and the other girls can’t believe that she did “the walk of shame” in front of them. Briona is desperate to know what happened on the date and takes Rebecca up stairs to find out. She tells her pretty much that they slept together and that she’s in love.

He knows that the girls feel a certain kind of way about Rebecca’s date so he wants them to gets out of the house. They take a trip to a monkey park and he has his mom and grandma ride with Rebecca, Jennifer and Shyona while he and Briona ride in his car so that he can talk to her. It is clear that he is feeling her and is really pulling for her. He kind of doesn’t care that she’s young and tells her to be more active with his mom and grandma.

At the monkey park, Jennifer connects with his mother and grandmother and it comes off as her trying to get in good with them as a way to get points with Game. Shyona peeps this but is not bother because Jen has put herself in the friend zone.

While out, Jennifer takes it upon herself to speak to Game because she is feeling the disconnect. She knows that by her not getting as much time with him as the others, she is at a disadvantage. She expresses this and says that she does feel a connection with him but is not aggressive and throwing herself all over him because is not her style You can so not feel the chemistry between these two.

Rebecca, Briona and Game spend some time together back at the house in their room before dinner and they give him a massage. Rebecca does not like Briona touching him and she actually asks Game about his time with Jennifer in the tub at the pool party. She asks him what they did in the tub and he said nothing.

They all join in cooking Gumbo with his mother. While they are doing that, he calls Briona to the side and tells her that she still hasn’t done what he told her to do with getting in there with him mom. He is really trying to get this girl on their good side which is interesting because she is obviously has no clue which is a result of her being young. So she tries to go down and talk to them while the other girls are cooking and Game’s mom tells her to go back over there and cook with them.

After they finish and eat the gumbo, Game lets them know that his mother and grandmother are doing the elimination. They address each girl and let them know what the think of them and ultimately send Jennifer home (it was between her and Briona) because there is just no chemistry between her and Game.

Next week is the finale and I think he will pick either Rebecca or Shyona. We’ll see who’s got game.

NFL Week 4 Deep Recap

0

Denver 23 Vikings 20

Teddy Bridgewater got no help from his offensive line who got their quarterback roughed up to the tune of seven sacks against the Orange Crush. Peyton Manning benefited from his defense once again as they also ripped the ball from the Vikings on the last drive to secure the three point win.

Peyton is consistent but not great anymore. If he will accept that and just manage the game, his defense could carry him to one last Super Bowl.

TJ Ward got the sack and strip that sealed the game for Denver.

Fantasy Carnage: Peyton with just 8 points:(

Rams  24 Arizona 22

My boy Todd Gurley ran wild in this game that wrecked Arizona’s perfect record. After his disappointing debut last week, Gurley went off for 136 yards in the second half alone.

Arizona’s three turnovers hurt them enough to give the Rams an ugly win over a better team. The Cards have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL, but luckily they play the Niners twice in division.

Fantasy Carnage: Larry Fitzgerald came back to Earth in this one, getting fantasy owners just seven points in standard leagues.

Eye popping stat: Gurley’s 7+ yards per carry.

Falcons 48 Texans 21

Link to full recap

Panthers 37   Bucs 23

Carolina rolled to 4-0 behind Cam Newton, who is not a stat monster, just a winner. With little help from Jonathan Stewart, Cam is shouldering the offense and helping the Panthers grind out wins.

A win’s a win, but the Bucs are not exactly elite so we won’t crown Carolina Super Bowl champs just yet. Tampa’s kicker had a rough day, much like many other kickers around the NFL who struggled in week four.

Packers 17    49ers 3

I’m guessing the Niners still regret not taking Aaron Rodgers back in the day. Kaepernick looked like the answer a couple years ago, but now looks a mess. He had a QBR of 20.1 in this loss that puts San Francisco at 1-3, and I have no idea how they won their opener.

The bright spot for the 49ers was the defense who played Rodgers pretty well overall. The Packers QB looked half way human in this game whereas he looked untouchable in the first three weeks.

The Pack moves to 4-0 and let’s not forget they are doing this minus their best receiver in Jordy Nelson.

Fantasy Carnage: If you had Randall Cobb, you likely fell in your fantasy standings.

Chargers   30  Browns   27

Josh McCown had his best game ever to no avail. His Browns found a way to lose it for him as they jumped offsides to give the Chargers a second chance FG that put them ahead.

The Browns get close but can’t quite get the wins each week. They did incorporate Duke Johnson more this week and should get more production from the former Hurricane the rest of the way.

Rivers should get more offensive help next week when Antonio Gates returns from his suspension.

Fantasy Carnage: Philip Rivers lit up the fantasy board in what turned out to be a much lower scoring week than week three’s insane fantasy numbers.

Eye popping stat: Duke Johnson’s 10 targets.

Saints 26  Cowboys 20

One of the best games of week four as this one went into overtime. Brandon Weeden tied the game late with a big touchdown throw only to see the Saints drive down the field with seconds left to try a FG to win it.

Lucky for the Boys, kickers were cursed all over the NFL this week and New Orleans missed the kick and we went to overtime. Brees didn’t leave the game in the hands of any neurotic kicker in the extra period as he hit the explosive CJ Spiller on a wheel route that hit paydirt, ending the game in sudden death TD style.

The Cowboys lost another playmaker in Lance Dunbar who tore his knee up and is out for the rest of 2015. Brees came back strong after it looked like his shoulder issue may make him ineffective for a stretch of games.

Brandon Weeden has done his job as a backup, but his team has still lost in both his starts. If Dez Bryant was still in play, the Cowboys would not be 0-2 the past couple games. Ifs!

Fantasy Carnage: Brees had a nice day if you went with him on DraftKings or standard leagues.

Jets  27   Dolphins  14

This game got Joe Philbin fired…or was the last straw anyway. The Phins looked like a team that did not care to compete and now old Joe has been relieved of his duties and replaced by a tight ends coach that looks like a personal trainer / bouncer.

The Jets’ Chris Ivory had his best game ever with 166 yards on 29 carries and embarrassed the unmotivated Ndamukong Suh and the rest of Miami’s defenders.

Bills 10    Giants 24

17 penalties were too much to overcome for Buffalo and Tyrod Taylor. Rex Ryan likes a team that fights or so he says, but I bet he’d like to have all those penalty yards back.

Tyrod has been great in sections of games this year and fell off in others. He is not a five year starter even though he does have years under his backup belt. He should get more consistent as the year moves forward unless he goes Kaepernick on us.

Bengals 36  Chiefs 21

21 is not a bad point total, but if your kicker is the only freaking scorer then you have an offensive issue. KC will be mediocre at best with Alex Smith I’m afraid. He had a ton of yards (386) but zero touchdowns.

Andy Dalton may fall off any game now. But just looking at the first four games he has been lights out. The guy has the highest yards per attempt average in the NFL and his team is dominant at home, 15-2 over the last 117 contests. The Bengals move to 4-0.

Fantasy Carnage: Jeremy Hill got back in the good graces of fantasy football fans with a big game.

Raiders  20  Bears  22

Chicago got a surprise start from Jay Cutler, coming back early from that hammy. It wasn’t like having Montana walk out of the tunnel, but better than the alternative in Jimmy Clausen.

Chicago needed a last minute kick from Robbie Gould to get the win over upstart Oakland, but win they did.

The Raiders are a good team, but need to get better obviously. Amari Cooper had two turnovers that helped the Bears out. Let’s not forget that Chicago was competitive with Green Bay in week one for much of the game.

Jaguars  13  Colts 16

The Jags might want to search the soccer word or craigslist for a new kicker. Theirs missed two that would have given them a win over Luck-less Indy. The Jags got no scores on their last eight drives, a recipe for sucking.

Matt Hasselbeck made his first start since the Bronze Age, but was good enough to get Indy past the struggling Jaguars.

Look for Allen Hurns if your season long team needs some help at WR. Not a bad play on DFS either when you are running out of cap space.

Redskins 23   Eagles  20

It took a 90 yard drive for Washington to get over the Eagles, but Kirk Cousins can through in the end. If he can avoid picks he is as good as any mid level QB…I know, nice backhanded compliment at best.

Philadelphia’s struggles continued and had DeMarco Murray complaining about his workload after the game. Philly is a hot mess with just one o-line starter from 2014 remaining. Sam Bradford looked bad again in the first half but rebounded in the second for a decent showing in a close game.

The Eagles defense just cannot get off the field, being gassed for 41 minutes in this game. Hard to stop a last minute drive when you have gotten no rest from your ingenious offense that eats no clock.

Fantasy Carnage: Sam Bradford had 23 points, a lot for week four in standard play.

Seahawks 13  Lions 10

Kam Chancellor made the difference in the end as he forced a fumble at the goal line that helped Seattle hold on for the win over Detroit, The Hawks benefited from a missed batting call from the officials.

Things like that happen to winless teams like Detroit, and they will keep happening the rest of a miserable 2015 that will get their coach run off.

Seattle won without Lynch, but found ways to move the ball and outlast their opponent once again. Russell Wilson could win most valuable player if his stats were more inflated. Without him this team goes 8-8 at best the past two years.

As for the noise about Chancellor deserving to get paid more….he is already getting paid plenty for plays like he made on MNF.

Eye popping stat: Russell Wilson out rushing every Lions rusher.
