Tampa Bay Lighting Tie Up Blackhawks: Game 2 Stanley Cup Finals

tampa bay lighting tie up blackhawks game 2 stanley cup finals 2015

The Tampa Bay Lightning entered game two of the 2015 Stanley Cup playoffs in a must-win situation. Having already lost game one to the Chicago Blackhawks, the Lightning faced a deficit in the series to a talented team. If TB fell behind 0-2, with two losses on their home-ice, then the championship series would be all but lost heading over to the windy city.

However the Lightning delivered a win in the clutch on Saturday night defeating Chicago 4-3 in a game that contrasted game one quite sharply. Neither team had much for offense in the series opener however both teams were effective on the offensive end in game two.

Tampa Bay opened the scoring in the first period on a goal by Cedric Paquette. Chicago would not only answer back but take the lead in the second period on a pair of goals by Andrew Shaw and Teuvo Tervainen. The middle frame would prove to be the most active as Nikita Kucherov and Tyler Johnson also had goals, ones that gave the Lightning a 3-2 lead heading into the intermission.

The two teams, in the final period, would exchange goals to give TB a 4-3 win. John Garrison scored the winner on the powerplay at the 8:49 mark of the third, only his second goal of the post-season.

Game two will likely be remembered for the offbeat goalie changes on Tampa Bay’s part. The Lightning made 26 saves on the night but those were spread across two goals. Ben Bishop logged over 50 minutes of ice team while Andrei Vasilevskiy, TB’s backup, had just under 10.

It was not made clear why Bishop had left the game, something he did on two occasions. But speculation on the matter, among other possible explanations, might include a weak tummy bug that caused the need for unpredictable comfort breaks.

Despite the loss in a game that Chicago could have won, the ‘hawks can’t be feeling too badly about the situation that they are in. A team on the road often looks for a split in the opening two games of a playoff series. Chicago got that with their win in game one and they now head to the United Center knowing that if they defend home ice in games three and four then they will build a 3-1 series lead.

Game three of the 2015 Stanley Cup Finals will be played on Monday night with a start time of 8pm ET. Despite the loss the Blackhawks remain series favorites, priced at -150 to win the Cup outright (Source: Ladbrokes).

Novak Djokovic vs Stan Wawrinka: 2015 French Open

novak djokovic vs stan wawrinka 2015 french open

The 2015 French Open final is set as Novak Djokovic will face Stan Wawrinka on Sunday for the clay court Grand Slam title. The championship follows what were two competitive semifinals played over Friday and Saturday.

In the first semifinal that was completed, Stan Wawrinka eliminated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. The match, almost four hours in length, went four sets and included two tiebreakers before the Swiss No. 2 defeated Tsonga 6-4 in the fourth.

Djokovic had a little more trouble in his semifinal as Andy Murray, after falling behind 0-2, managed to force a fifth and deciding set. Their semifinal, which was played over the course of two days, ended when Djokovic elevated his play in the deciding set to win it 6-1.

Heading into the Roland Garros final, Djokovic is considered a massive favorite (-900, 1/9 bet365). The World No. 1 also enters the championship match with an apparent date with destiny.

Djokovic, with a win, would complete the career Grand Slam. He would then join Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andre Agassi, and a small list of other players to have accomplished the feat.

It is worth noting, that completion of the career Grand Slam is one criteria that tennis pundits use when debating who deserves to be called the greatest player of all-time for men’s tennis. It is certainly not the only criteria but if Djokovic is to be mentioned in the debate at career’s end then winning Sunday’s match could prove vital.

For Wawrinka, it’s too late in his career for him to play himself into the debate. However the 30-year old could still separate himself from a lot of other former Grand Slam champions with a win on Sunday.

Wawrinka won the 2014 Australian Open with a draw that went through Djokovic in the quarters. To date, that is the Swiss’ only Grand Slam singles title and he sits on the list of players to have accomplished the feat just one time.

While the list is an exclusive one that many players would love to be on, it still contains semi-forgettable names like Gaston Gaudio, Thomas Johannson, Andres Gomez, Richard Krajicek, Petr Korda, and Albert Costa.
Wawrinka could differentiate himself from those players with a title on Sunday. He would then join more proven players on the list of two-Slammers. Players like Andy Murray, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, Patrick Rafter, Lleyton Hewitt, and Marat Safin – all former No. 1s (Murray aside).

The men’s French Open final is scheduled for Sunday at 3pm from Paris. One elephant in the room, besides the fact that Djokovic has won so many Grand Slam finals relative to Wawrinka, is the fact that the Serb holds a 17-3 record against the Swiss.

It would take something else for Wawrinka to upset the Serb especially since Djokovic, in the last two rounds, already defeated his main rivals for the 2015 Roland Garros crown.

Serena Williams Fights Through Flu To Win 2015 French Open

serena williams wins 2015 french open roland garros

Serena Williams, in what was her third Grand Slam title at Roland Garros, won the 2015 French Open on Saturday with a three-set victory over Czech player Lucie Safarova. The line score in the match was 6-3, 6-7, 6-2 as the World No. 1 consolidated her position on top of women’s tennis.

The tournament will be remembered as Serena’s 20th victory in a Grand Slam singles final, a total that leaves her just two behind Steffi Graf for the open era lead. It is surprising that the American achieved the milestone at Roland Garros, historically her worst venue for majors. It was a point she alluded to in her post-match interview:

“To win my 20th Grand Slam title at Roland Garros is very special for me because I haven’t always had the most success here,” Williams claimed. “I want to thank all of the fans – it’s just a dream that I’ve won this title.”

Unlike some of her Grand Slam triumphs, winning this year’s French Open title often involved persevering through stubborn players and deficits. In no less than four matches Williams found herself down a set, including as early as the second round.

serena williams wins 2015 french open

The final, in contrast, appeared as though it was going to be a cakewalk as Williams took a commanding 4-1 lead in the second set after winning the first. However Safarova made things very interesting as she battled from a set down and a double-break down to force a third set. Unforunately for the Czech, things did not go her way in the deciding set but she should be feeling at least a little bit of pride after representing herself well in her first major final.

Even more impressive is that Williams did all this while fighting both the flu and the rising temperatures in Paris.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been this sick,” Williams told ESPN. “I didn’t expect to win that, I really didn’t.”

She added: “I got the flu after my third-round match and I’ve been really struggling ever since then. Hopefully this is the worst and I’ll get better from here.

“I thought, ‘If I’m going to lose, I’m going to go for winners.’

“The next thing I know it was a set all and I thought, ‘I really don’t feel like playing a third set.’ I was so tired. I just fought for every point and here I am.”

Safarova and Williams will now focus their attention on the grass court season. There are a near-handful of minor events coming up, ahead of Wimbledon 2014, most of them set in England. Safarova will be part of an event in Birmingham, a tournament that will take place in mid-June. With Williams, she will probably not play anything until the grass court Slam at the All England Club, a tournament that she is currently favored to win (source: bet365).

Next for women’s tennis fans are both WTA Nottingham and WTA Den Bosch. Nottingham will feature Agnieszska Radwanska while Eugenie Bouchard headlines the event in Den Bosch, a tournament in the Netherlands.

Unsend It Saves You From Those Embarrassing Premature E-mail Sends

This post brought to you by Unsend It, LLC. The content and opinions expressed below are that of Movie TV Tech Geeks.

We’ve all done it, misinterpreted an e-mail from someone and responded back before taking that requisite ten seconds to breathe and read what we’ve written. Even worse, is when you read the original e-mail again after firing off a blistering response and realizing that the tone was much different than you thought.

What do you do then? Most of us have just hoped that the e-mail would get lost in a spam filter, but the biggest wish is that we could just make it disappear even if they already opened it. Google Chrome may have given us an extra ten to fifteen seconds to retract an e-mail, but most often, we need more time.

unsent it prevents premature email sends 2015 woman images

Thankfully, unSend.it is here to grant us this wish, and not just for ten to fifteen seconds, but much much longer. You can even make an e-mail disappear after it’s been opened. Now, that’s a great one, and then you can just keep telling the person that you have no idea what they’re talking about, and then ask them to forward this strange e-mail to you. They can’t because you’ve destroyed it. Who doesn’t love that?

The destroying the e-mail isn’t as James Bond sounding as all that since the e-mail actually doesn’t disappear, but all the content within it, plus any attachments are erased with no trace whatsoever. I could have used this so many times, especially those moments when you were trying to get that certain someone back in a moment of weakness. Now they can’t throw those embarrassing words back in your face!

The nice part of unSend.it, is that you can use your regular email, so there’s no worry of losing it for this amazing and much needed by everyone service. Once you sign up, you’re given a very easy step-by-step instruction guide on how to configure your existing e-mail address with their custom SMTP server. Yes, I know when you see words like SMTP, your eyes glaze over, but trust me, this is so easy…and just think back to all those times when you wish you had something like this. How many friends or bosses did you have to scrape down to apologizing profusely from premature e-mail syndrome?

Another great feature is that one we all wish we had and can be the most annoying thing with e-mail. The dreaded, “Oh, I never got that e-mail” or “It must have gotten stuck in the spam filter.” Unsend It has a feature the will quickly embarrass those people when you let them know exactly when they did open your e-mail. That’s right, you can also track when the recipient opens your e-mail or be notified when they do.

If you have a few typos that you realize are in that sent e-mail, you can make those changes even after it’s been sent. Basically, Unsend It turns your e-mail into a google style document where you’re still able to make edits, unsend, or even detach that embarrassing picture of you in a delicate situation you accidentally attached. This can be done anytime, even after it’s been opened by the recipient.

Lastly, it has end-to-end encryption, so it’s an extremely secure e-mail technology in this hackable world we live in now. It works with Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, AppleMail and other major email clients.

So, for all of you who’ve suffered from premature e-mail syndrome, unSend.it is for you. So get signing up!

Prosecutors Claim Aaron Hernandez’s Life Threatened

prosecutors say aaron hernandez life threatened 2015

Each facet of Aaron Hernadez’s trials keep getting interesting, and this upcoming one in December looks to be like it could be difficult for a jury as the prosecutors are saying that Alexander Bradley threatened to kill him in the months after he allegedly shot Bradley in the face, in the pending double murder case against the former New England Patriots football player.

Earlier this week, we reported that Hernandez’s attorneys were filing for a new trial because they feel that one of the jurors might have considered evidence against him that wasn’t introduced at trial. His attorneys, have filed four motions asking that their client’s verdict be overturned because of this matter. In plain terms, they say that a jury found out something he or she shouldn’t have and used that in determining his guilt. With as much coverage as the arrest, indictment and trial had, it wouldn’t be too hard for something like that to happen. The documents have been sealed from the public, so it’s unclear what the juror was exposed too.

During the trial, Judge Garsh did rule to withhold certain evidence or testimony from the trail like the fact that Hernandez hadn’t been charged for a separate double-homicide or that one of the prosecutor’s witnesses alleged the football player shot him in the face to silence him. This evidence had been deemded too prejudicial against Hernandez.

Hernandez, 25, is slated to stand trial in Suffolk Superior Court in Boston in December on charges of murdering Daniel Abreu, 29, and Safiro Furtado, 28, in the city’s South End in July 2012.

Suffolk prosecutors have also charged Hernandez with shooting Bradley, his former friend and marijuana supplier, in Florida in February 2013, one day after Bradley made a comment about the South End double murder, according to court records.

In a recent legal filing made public on Friday, Suffolk prosecutors wrote that Hernandez and Bradley communicated by phone and text in the months after the alleged shooting in Florida.

“Specifically, Bradley threatened to kill and to sue” Hernandez, prosecutors wrote in their filing, which was a motion to combine the double murder indictment with the charge of shooting Bradley. A judge approved that request on Thursday.

Even though the alleged shooting of Bradley occurred in Florida, Suffolk prosecutors are charging Hernandez under a Massachusetts witness intimidation statute.

Lawyers for Hernandez, who is serving a life sentence for the June 2013 slaying of Odin L. Lloyd of Dorchester, could not be reached for comment Friday. Hernandez is appealing his conviction in the Lloyd case.

A lawyer for Bradley, who is jailed in Connecticut on unrelated gun charges, declined to discuss his client’s alleged threat to kill the once-promising athlete.

“I certainly don’t want to comment on anything,” said the attorney, Robert Pickering.

Bradley has filed a lawsuit in Florida against Hernandez, alleging that Hernandez shot him in the eye.

Bradley testified against Hernandez in the Lloyd trial and is also expected to take the stand in the double murder case in Boston. Authorities say he was a passenger in Hernandez’s vehicle when the athlete pulled up alongside a car carrying Abreu and Furtado and allegedly opened fire.

LeBron James Lone Cavaliers Superstar Remaining For NBA Finals

lebron james lone cavaliers superstar 2015 nba finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers lost a close Game 1 against the Golden State Warriors 108-100 in overtime Thursday. As if going down 0-1 in the NBA Finals against the top team in the league wasn’t bad enough, the Cavs will now have to move forward without superstar point guard Kyrie Irving, who will be out for 3-4 months with a fractured knee cap.

Kevin Love went down in the Boston Celtics series with a shoulder injury, and now Irving is done for the season. With LeBron James the sole healthy star on the roster, the pressure on him to win a title for the city of Cleveland is only magnified.

James had the kind of game people expected him to have to start out his 6th consecutive Finals appearance, finishing with 44 points and a handful of clutch shots late in the 4th quarter. His final shot in regulation wasn’t the best look; however, and the overtime loss doesn’t make people forget about that.

“You know, it’s funny to say when a guy gets 44 points that the defender did a really good job, but I thought Andre did extremely well, made LeBron take some tough shots,” Kerr said after James misfired from 21 feet, the Warriors survived in regulation, thrived in overtime and took Game 1, 108-100.

The Cavs now have a huge problem with depth. The Warriors’ bench outscored Cleveland 34-9 in Game 1. Even worse, J.R. Smith scored all nine of those points…on 3-of-13 shooting.

The Warriors didn’t win 67 games by accident, they are an extremely versatile team who can beat you in multiple different ways. LeBron basically learned the hard way that he will need more than just himself if he expects to walk away with his third ring in four years.

The Warriors are too much for any one star to take on. I mean, Iggy off the bench? That’s not even fair. The only way the Cavs can win is by outperforming the Warriors bench. Basically, Smith needs to shoot the way he did against the Atlanta Hawks in each of the remaining games.

On top of that, the Cavs will need to win in Game 2. Thursday’s game could have gone either way, so with any luck Game 2 will be the Cavs best chance at upsetting the NBA’s top home team. Cleveland needs to win this series in six games if they want to win it.

With Irving now on the sideline next to Kevin Love, with J. R. Smith now the secondary option, James may on occasion need 60. He will need to take his talents to the rim, be better than ever.

Game 2 tips off at 8ET Sunday. Let’s see what The King can do to prevent his team from going down 0-2.

Privacy: Biggest Barrier to Big Data

privacy is biggest barrier to big data 2015

Big data is the concept of storing huge amounts of data and refers specifically to making use of that data through analytics and machine learning.

The reason big data is being talked about more than ever is largely due to the fact that computers have never before been powerful enough to work with such large datasets and therefore we can now extract far more knowledge and insight from large data sets than we could do previously.

At the moment big companies are starting to implement big data tactics into their business model – they can collect data from various sources – both internal and external – and then use that data to draw conclusions about how effective their business processes are, how well their products are selling and more interestingly the data can then be extrapolated and used to predict how various different scenarios or changes to the existing business model will affect the company in terms of its revenue, growth and other key metrics of success.

As with most new technologies they start within the business sector and then begin moving into the consumer market once there are tried and tested methods available that can be scaled up and sold to the masses. This is likely to be the same with big data and in fact it is likely that big data will play a massive role in the consumer market and will provide some great benefits to the consumer.

One of the biggest barriers at the moment though is data privacy – the very nature of big data dictates that lots of information should be collected, stored and used and without this part of the equation big data would be useless. This is fine within the enterprise because the data being collected is either owned by the company or being collected with express permission from its owner and also used internally. With the consumer this is a completely different scenario – in order for big data to benefit the individual information pertaining to that individual needs to be collected and stored centrally before it can be analysed and the results made of use to the consumer.

This is a big barrier because people are not familiar with this concept and are used to guarding their personal information very closely.

privacy barrier for police to big data 2015

To give a real world example, the police and other security services are keen to deploy big data technologies in order to collect, store and analyse social media data (source). The police insist that this data will be used for specific purposes to detect and prevent crimes but there is of course the worry that this data will be used for other less legitimate purposes. In addition there are fears that these practices will lead to our right of privacy diminishing.

There are many other potential uses for big data – such as tracking spending habits in order to provide a better shopping experience for the consumer, tracking car usage to provide more accurate insurance quotes or even tracking the food that we buy in order to provide automatic ordering services. There are countless ways in which big data could be used to benefit the consumer because what it really means is getting every available piece of information about what we do, our habits and so on and using that information to provide the best and most suited experience, service or products to us.

Of course none of these things are likely to happen any time soon because of privacy concerns – who wants that much information to be in the public domain or even known by anyone? This poses a serious road block to big data technologies and their further development and highlights a need to modify the law in terms of digital data storage and privacy as well as highlighting the need for education in these areas.

The reality is that data from any of the examples that have been listed can be collected, stored and analysed responsibly. If there were new regulations catering specifically to digital data and big data technologies then measures and laws could be put in place to ensure that whilst this data could be collected, stored and analysed autonomously the results could only be used or even accessed in specific circumstances and to service specific needs.

The use of big data by security services is a prime example – perhaps the law could be adjusted so that all of this data could be collected and analysed but there would need to be specific criteria in place before that resulting information could be used or even looked at by security services. This would allow the technology to be in place and to benefit the security services but would ensure that the data captured would not be available for perusal by anyone unless there was a legitimate reason for doing so. This would mean no privacy concerns for the data and would therefor allow the technology to blossom.

Barcelona vs Juventus: Champions League Final 2014-15:

0

champions league final 2015 barcelona vs juventus

The domestic tournaments in all the major European countries have concluded and it is now time for the greatest football spectacle of the year – the Champions League final Barcelona vs Juventus. This will easily be a historic match not mention dramatic, as underdogs Juve try to slay the beast that is Barca’s front three.

It is a certainty that there’ll be a treble winner this season, but would it be the Italians or the Spaniards, only time can tell. The eighth European treble is at stake on Saturday when Barcelona face Juventus in Berlin. The Catalan giants won their first treble under Pep Guardiola in 2009, while Juve are looking forward to emulate the success of their Serie A rivals Inter Milan (in 2010).

Barca are without a doubt the stronger side on paper. The lethal strike partnership of Messi, Suarez and Neymar a.k.a MSN has decimated defenses all around Europe. The front three of the Spanish giants have netted a total of 120 goals over the course of this 2014-14 season. Lionel Messi has raked in 58 goals in all competitions. Since the turn of this year, the diminutive Argentine has been majestic and his performances have made him a favorite for Ballon d’Or 2016.

Even though Barcelona have better ammunition going into the battle, they certainly can’t underestimate the Italians. Allegri’s men clinched the Serie A title for the fourth consecutive time after beating their closest rivals Roma by a 17 point margin. Led by one of the greatest Italian goalkeepers of all time, Gianluigi Buffon, the Old Lady have the quality to compete with any top side in the world. Luis Enrique’s men can be stopped with the right tactics and planning.

“I don’t know if they’ll press us high, they’ll sit deep… They could do either, and are fully capable of it” the Barcelona boss said.

fc barcelona vs juventus champions league final 2015

Enrique can’t be complacent while dealing with Italians as Allegri would set up his team to nullify the effect of Messi and other key players.

Giorgio Chiellini will miss the final and won’t face the Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez. In the group stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Suarez bit Chiellini for which he got a ban of four months. Their meeting, one year after the incident, was anticipated to be a big affair. Although the former Liverpool player will meet his old nemesis Patrice Evra on Saturday. They share a history of massive controversies from their days in the Premier League and this final can reignite their hatred towards each other.

Andres Iniesta is given the green signal to line-up alongside Messi and Xavi after tweaking his leg muscle in the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao. It will be Xavi’s last game in a Barcelona shirt as weeks earlier he announced that he’d join the Qatari club Al-Sadd.  Juventus’s Andrea Pirlo will also bid farewell to his team-mates as the Italian maestro would move to the MLS outfit, New York City FC. Both these legendary midfielders combined have won 45 major silverwares with club and countries. This whopping numbers do not include the individual honors and youth tournaments. Idolized by many aspiring footballers, both these players have had careers one can only dream of.

Novak Djokovic vs Andy Murray Part 2: 2015 French Open Roland Garros

novak djokovic vs andy murray continues 2015 french open

Only a threatening thunder storm could stop powerhouse Novak Djokovic from blasting his way into the 2015 French Open finals, but in his match against Andy Murray, that’s what happened. The number one ranked tennis player in the world was ahead after dominating the first two sets, but Murray was beginning to get his fight back. Then the weather happened, delaying the two players until Saturday at Roland Garros. The winner will face Stan Wawrinka in Sunday’s final.

Swiss eighth seed Wawrinka’s earlier win over Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga had lasted nearly four hours, meaning the second semi-final did not get under way until almost 17:30 local time, albeit with the temperature still at 33C.

novak djokovic vs andy murray roland garros 2015

Thunderstorms had been forecast to hit Roland Garros at some stage and, with little prospect of Murray and Djokovic finishing, officials opted to stop with the fourth set tied at 3-3.

That could be viewed as a triumph in itself for Murray, bearing in mind the Scot’s predicament an hour earlier.

Djokovic had looked every inch the French Open champion-in-waiting as he took the opening sets in a relatively brisk 86 minutes, denying Murray a single break point.

A brief visit from the trainer suggested he might be suffering in the heat but his tennis proved otherwise.

When Murray ballooned a straightforward smash over the baseline to give up the second set, it appeared he might be unravelling, just as he had in February’s Australian Open final.

The 28-year-old Serb, aiming to become the eighth man in history to complete the full set of Grand Slam titles, had victory in his sights with two break points midway through the third set, but Murray held on and began to hit more freely.

A breathtaking forehand winner on the turn off a Djokovic lob jolted the Briton, and the Court Philippe Chatrier crowd, to life at 5-5 and another crushing forehand helped him to break.

novak djokovic gets golden showers at 2015 french open

Moments later he had served out the set to a huge roar from the crowd, thrilled to be getting a contest, and Djokovic took a seven-minute medical timeout as Murray prowled the court alone.

The fourth set saw more drama. Murray reeled off nine points in a row to hold from 0-40 down in the second game and then break in the next, only to net an awful smash as he instantly gave the advantage back.

The Scot then held on superbly after a blistering cross-court winner from Djokovic left him trailing 15-40 in the final game before play was halted.

There was only one man who had time to win the match on Friday, but Djokovic was quick to pack up his racquets as the assistant referee told both men that the storm was imminent.

Here’s a set by set breakdown of the Djokovic vs Murray match to hold you over until they finish:

SET 1 – Djokovic 6-3

It’s a scorching day in Paris with on-court temperatures reaching 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Djokovic started off with a seven-minute first game, which included a 22-shot rally. The Serb needed three tries before he achieved 1-0. Djokovic also got to deuce on Murray’s opening service game, but the Scot held for 1-1 after a forehand error from his opponent.

Dishing out a crafty lob to the Scot, which Murray was unable to outrun, for 40-0 in the next game, Djokovic would hold for 2-1. Murray held at 15 in the next game. A brilliant display of speed to run down a drop shot from the third seed gave Djokovic game point on his next service game, and he clinched it for 3-2.

Djokovic would earn his first break point on Murray’s serve at 40-30, which the Scot saved, benefiting from a backhand error from the Serb. Murray went on to win the game with an ace.

The top seed earned triple break point on Murray’s serve but needed just one to take a 5-3 lead. Djokovic clinched the 44-minute first set at 15 with an ace.

SET 2 – Djokovic 6-3

As we hit the one-hour mark, Djokovic held for 2-2. Murray up to the service line next, the 28-year-old Serb would earn double break point after the Scot netted a forehand volley. A backhand error from Murray at 30-40 gave the World No. 1 the break and a 3-2 lead.

Calmly, Djokovic held for 4-2, and would go on to earn another break point on Murray’s serve. The French crowd clapping to give the Dunblane native momentum, Murray saved the two break points he faced to hold 3-4. But the Serb would later earn double break point on Murray’s serve, and broke to win the set 6-3 in 42 minutes, benefiting from a forehand error from the Scot.

SET 3 – Murray 7-5

Serving at 1-1, neither a time violation nor threatening storm clouds rattled Djokovic. The Belgrade native continued to impose on Murray, earning double break point yet again as the Scot served at 2-3. Murray would later hold after Djokovic hit a forehand error high into the Paris sky.

The third seed’s white shirt began to show marks of the terre battue and he hoped to push the Serb in his next service game, having been unable thus far to earn any break point opportunities. But Djokovic remained strong and the duo remained on serve, 3-3.

A dominant service game from Murray saw two aces help him win the game at love and bring the set to 5-5. Djokovic serving, a forehand winner from Murray for 15-15 fired up the Scot, who went on to earn his first two break point opportunities of the match. One was all it took as Murray broke for a 6-5 lead. The Scot, his teeth firmly sunk into the match, served out the 56-minute set at love, the Paris crowd thrilled this block-buster semi-final had been prolonged.

SET 4

After holding for 1-0, Djokovic earned triple break point chance on Murray’s serve. A handful of errors from Djokovic, including one to end a 33-shot rally, saw the Scot bring them back to deuce. An ace and a forehand wide from the top seed and Murray held for 1-1.

Murray’s momentum picked up as he went on to earn triple break point on the Serb’s next service game. The crowd erupted as the Scot broke for a 2-1 lead. But Djokovic earned two chances to get back on serve, which he did, urging himself on as frustration mounted for Murray.

Winds picking up and storm clouds rolling in, Murray was forced to save two break points, and a drop shot from Djokovic went long to allow the Scot to hold. Immediately after, the match was suspended due to rain.

Djokovic vs Murray Redux As Wawrinka Hits Finals: 2015 French Open

stan wawrinka beats jo wilfriend tsonga french open 2015

The men’s draw at the 2015 French Open resumed on Friday from Paris as Philippe Chatrier Court featured two semifinal matches at Roland Garros. Only one of the two matches was played in its entirety as Stan Wawrinka, a one-time Grand Slam champion, advanced to his second career major final.

Wawrinka faced French national Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semifinals, a player who appears poised for a resurgence following both a below average 2014 and a poor start to 2015. The two players entered the semifinal 3-3 on head-to-heads but the first set of the match was anything but even. The Swiss No. 2 claimed the opener 6-3 and, following a break of serve in the second set, Wawrinka looked as though he might defeat his French counterpart in straight sets.

However Tsonga made a match of the men’s semifinal when he broke back against Wawrinka and then went on to claim the second set tiebreaker. There was all to play for in the third set, one that was tightly contested as both players worked hard for every point. However when Wawrinka claimed the tiebreaker it started to become clear that the day would be his and he emerged as the victor with a lengthy 6-3, 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 victory.

jo wilfriend tsonga loses to stan wawrinka 2015 roland garros

Wawrinka was basically a no-show at the 2014 French Open as he was eliminated in the very first round. With just ten points earned at the event last season, the Swiss No. 2 has already gained 1190 ranking points just in making the final. With a projected loss in the championship match, Wawrinka should move up to the World No. 6 position on Monday while Tsonga should be ranked 12th following his efforts.

However who Wawrinka will face in the final is not yet known.

Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray started their semifinal match on Friday and they almost got through it as the World No. 1 appeared as though he might advance in straight sets. However Murray, a player who has never made the French Open final, battled back late in the third set to keep himself in the Roland Garros tournament. In the fourth set Djokovic and Murray played to 3-3 before play was suspended for the day.

Murray and Djokovic are now on the order of play for Saturday as they are scheduled to finish their match prior to the commencement of the women’s final. The re-start time for the men’s semifinal is 1pm from Paris, with Serena Williams and Lucie Safarova to follow.

The men’s final will then be played on Sunday and, with Wawrinka already in the championship match, the Swiss will most likely face Djokovic who holds a 2-1 lead over Murray.

Cleveland Cavaliers Finish 2015 NBA Finals Without Kyrie Irving

The Cleveland Cavaliers have persevered through one major injury in the 2015 post-season. Early in the playoffs, Kevin Love suffered a shoulder injury, one that took him out of the current NBA playoffs. While the Cavs were still able to win their conference without Love, it’s hard to picture Cleveland winning the 2015 NBA Finals both without him and without guard Kyrie Irving.

According to news on Friday, the latter is a player whose 2015 season is now over:

The injury, clearly terrible as far as Cleveland’s chances to win the NBA title go, has made the 2015 NBA Finals a lot less interesting. Irving, who was Cleveland’s No. 2 punch on offense, averaged 19 points per game during the 2015 playoffs. Without that offensive help, Lebron James appears as though he will be relied on even more than he already is.

The Cavaliers were considered underdogs prior to the start of game one of the 2015 NBA Finals. Following the loss in game one, they were considered even larger underdogs as Cleveland missed a chance to steal home court advantage in the series when they missed two late shots at the end of regulation on Thursday. With Irving out, the Cavs are now priced as long as +400 (bet365) to win the 2015 NBA championship, an award that appears more-and-more to be heading Golden State’s way.

Matthew Dellavedova, averaging 6.5 points per game, has played important minutes during the 2015 post-season. He’s one player that will need to establish himself more on the offensive end to make up for Irving’s absence.

Now, the Cavaliers will again rely on backup guard Matthew Dellavedova, who played significant minutes against the Chicago Bulls in the conference semifinals and against the Atlanta Hawks in the conference finals as Irving battled tendinitis and a strained right foot.

“You all saw he played terrifically,” Cavs coach David Blatt said Friday. “Matty has been a rotation player for us the whole year. He stepped in and did a great job, and the team believes in him and we believe in him. If necessary, he has to play significant minutes again, he’ll be ready, and we’ll know how to play with him.”

Earlier on Friday as the team waited for the official word on point guard Kyrie Irving and whether his left knee injury would keep him out of action in Game 2 on Sunday, and perhaps beyond, coach David Blatt told the media that he was not optimistic about the situation.

“Not good,” he said when asked about Irving’s status after he re-injured the left knee that has ailed him in recent weeks. “I don’t know that for a fact because the result hasn’t come back, but my feeling is not good.”

However elevating one’s game is not as simple as just deciding to do it. Golden State are now in a position to lock down defensively on James without having to worry as much about kickouts.

“There are a few things that you would love to have going late in the season. That’s being healthy, having a great rhythm, and then you need a little luck as well,” Cavs starLeBron James said.

“We’ve had a great rhythm. We haven’t had much luck, and we haven’t been healthy. But I haven’t gotten discouraged. I understand the moment that I’m in, and I’m not too much worried about the game. I’m worried about the moment. I’m happy with the moment. I’m excited to be in this moment once again, and I’m going to stay strong for my team, no matter who is or is not in the lineup.”

Cleveland will probably still be tough from home but, in need of a road-win, much appears to be hinging on game two which goes Sunday night.

Chris Brown Rough Tran Love & Sarah Palin Uses Child Molester For Attention

It’s Friday folks and here is your celebrity gossip roundup and Sarah Palin is back trying to get any attention she can by sadly using admitted child molester Josh Duggar. I’d love to see her walk the walk and see if she’s willing to leave her granddaughter alone with him for a while.

Chris Brown and Karrueche Reunited and It Doesn’t Feel Good?

It is really hard to keep up with Chris Brown and Karreche Tran. The status of their relationship is constantly changing. Nonetheless, the gist of it is pretty much the same. They are together, they are not together she posted a picture on Instagram, Chris Brown gets all in his feelings.

It has recently been reported (by just about everyone) that the two are back together and rumors have swirled about everything from them having a baby to Chris Brown proposing.  The status right now is that the two are a no go after a HUGE blow up after the two left a nightclub and cops were called to Karrueche’s house.

There was a lot of noise going on outside of KT’s door which prompted the visit from the popo The didn’t find any foul play so nobody was arrested or anything. But the interesting thing is how it all happened.

Chris Brown being Chris Brown got a V.I.P. table right next to Karrueche’s at the Playhouse club and she was pissed so she stormed out and he followed her. The dude even jumped into her SUV.

Long story short, she dropped him off at some friend’s then went home, he showed up at her spot all loud (enter popo), she left and went to Norm’s Diner and CB followed her. They had a shouting match IN THE RESTURANT and then she left and went back home.

This is all kinds of crazy. I want to say it’s all Chris’ fault but seriously, she has got to stop letting him in. Just stay away Karrueche.

sarah palin defends child molestor josh dugger attacks lena dunham 2015 gossip

Sara Palin Gets it Twisted Using Admitted Child Molester For Attention

Sarah Palin and people like her, are stupid. There really is no other way to put it. They open their mouths and in an attempt to, idk, sound smart or educated, they make asses of themselves by not only showing how much they don’t know, but by revealing a much needed lack of understanding and reasoning skills.

Case in point- Sara Palin has compared Josh Duggar admitting to molesting his sisters and others when he was 15 years old to Lena Dunham writing about exploring a curiosity at seven years old that a good majority of children that age do.

This is the problem with Palin and her supporters, they always find a way to make the wrong that they do seem less damaging than it is. She doesn’t understand why the Duggar family is getting the bad press the way that they are.

One of the reasons why the Duggars are getting it so badly is because they portray themselves to be an ideal Christian wholesome family when they have dark secrets that far surpass the transgressions of others that they judge.

So no Sara fucking Palin. What an aware 15-year-old Josh Duggar did to several children is not the same as what a seven-year-old Lena Dunham did. One is a child exploring their sexuality, the other is damn there adult getting his knocks off. Please go sit the hell down somewhere.

How much longer is Palin and her ilk going to stand up for this family that knowingly let their son get away with this without any legal repercussions? A shit storm is brewing up harder after the Duggars did their planned FOX interview Megyn Kelly interview. They were comfortable being on safe turf, but they got too comfortable and let things slip that didn’t jive with their earlier stories.

What really angers me is that the family claimed they didn’t know the police officer they took Josh Duggar too after his big confession, but Joseph Hutchens has a way different story saying he’s known the family. The sick twist in this is that this officer is now in prison for decades for child pornography, and he let Josh Duggar walk away saying he was no threat….even after admitting to molesting multiple girls.

The sad losers in this are the Duggar sisters who seem to have been brainwashed as they’re telling the media that it wasn’t that bad. I want to know in what world are you living in that being molested as a child could be ‘not that bad’. The victims of Josh Duggar have been forgotten in this media firestorm and it just shows that certain people truly do believe that they are and always will be above the law. Sadly, this country actions on this matter are proving the right.

Suge Knight and Kat Williams Sued for Having Female Photographer Beat Up

There are people in this world, primarily black people, who just practice another level of niggadom. Yep that’s right. I said niggadom. That is a way of life or set of behavior that is just down right ghetto, ratched, grimy and wrong. In fact you don’t even have to be black to engage in niggadom.

It has been reported that Suge Knight (big shocker there) and Kat Williams have committed niggadom by having a female photog assaulted by one of their females.

Leslie Redden filed a lawsuit against the two because of a beat down she received back in September 2014 outside of a Beverly Hills studio. Apparently, she was shooting video and Suge thought that she was taking a picture of his son. He charged at her and said (which can all be heard on video), “I got a bitch to beat your motherfucking ass!”

Enter Kat Williams who came around the corner with his girlfriend (probably) who knocked her down and grabbed the camera from her. Now Lesile is suing them for assault and defamation (Williams said she was engaged inappropriately with a child”).

Damn Suge, you are in jail and you still getting in trouble.
