The Swiss international moved from Bayern Munich to the Serie A giants Inter Milan this year and he is already being linked to a move out of San Siro. According to Sky Sports Italia, Inter have accepted a €17 million deal for the 23-year-old midfielder and it is believed that the player is yet to give his approval. If the deal goes through Mark Hughes will have ex-players of Barcelona, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Liverpool at his disposal to pick his Match Day squad.

It is believed that the West Londoners have submitted a £29 million offer to Atletico Madrid. Arsenal, Liverpool and United are also in pursuit of the winger but the Blues are leading the race.

The former Real Madrid star, Robinho is set to move to the Chinese league as Guangzhou Evergrande are very close to getting the signature of the Brazilian. Robinho will link up with his compatriot Paulinho, who sealed a £9.9m move to the Chinese club recently.

AC Milan are looking forward to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic from PSG but they are keeping Fernando Llorente as the backup target if the Swedish striker prefers not to join the Italian giants. Their arch rivals Inter Milan are chasing Stefan Jovetic of Manchester City and the deal will most likely be sealed with this week.

Lazio are considering to bring Pato back to the Serie A. The striker was a hot young prospect a few years ago but he failed to live fulfill his potential and returned to Brazil in 2013 to join the Brazilian club Corinthians. The Italian club are hoping that Corinthians will accept their bid of £5.6 million for the 25-year-old.

Juventus are keen on adding Thiago Silva to their star studded squad. Allegri is reportedly interested in the Paris Saint Germain centre back with Monaco’s Aymen Abdennour and Bayern Munich’s Medhi Benatia also believed to be on the shortlist. The Serie A runner-ups Roma are interested in a move for PSV midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, who is valued at around £10.6m.

The former La Liga champions Atletico Madrid are hoping to re-sign Felipe Luis from Chelsea. The left-back didn’t get much game time at the Stamford Bridge and is reportedly unhappy with his situation. Diego Simeone is also keen to sign the Chelsea misfit Juan Cuadrado, who moved to the Premier League in January. According to multiple sources, Dnipro’s Yevhen Konoplyanka has also been offered to Atletico.

The most bizarre transfer news this transfer season was surrounding the former Arsenal player Gervinho. Gervinho’s move to Al Jazira fell through because his demands for a helicopter and private beach were not met by the club.

SENSE8 Ep 3 Recap: Smart Money On the Skinny Bitch

sense8 ep 3 recap images 2015I went into the third episode once again anticipating a more in-depth look into the connection between the eight strangers showcased in Sense8. The beginning of the third episode “Smart Money’s on the Skinny Bitch” seemed to be heading this way, as Chicago police officer Will wakes up in the hospital after being in the car chase with Jonas Maliki the night before. . He is told that he is suffering from a concussion and that there were also signs of unusual brain activity, which seemingly parallels Nomi’s diagnosis in the prior episode. However, this does not stop Will from leaving as he is set on talking to Jonas and finding out what is happening to him and what really lies beneath the strange occurrences he has been experiencing recently. Unfortunately this continuation of the broader storyline doesn’t last long as following majority of the episode goes back to the telling of the more individual character stories.

Just as in the second episode, there is a more focused approach to telling the character’s stories. There are glimpses of many of the stranger’s lives, but we are mostly engaged in the lives of three of the characters, Will (Chicago police officer), Sun (Seoul Businesswomen) and Capheus (Kenyan Bus driver). By centering on a smaller set of characters, the episode is able to go more in-depth, rather than the jumpy set-up of the first episode as it tried to cover too much ground.

Although it takes awhile to get it, this episode does finally allow for some continuation of the main narrative. The challenges that certain characters are set to face begin to finally form. This is shown in Will’s dream of watching (alongside Sara Partell, a young girl he failed to protect earlier in his policing career) someone undergo a lobotomy. This scene seems to give a sense that Will is grasping on to what is at stage for Nomi, the woman Jonas told him was in grave danger and needed Will’s help.

The episode also puts characters Sun and Capheus, who we had very little screen time previously, into a much more clearer view. Both are given thrilling, action-packed sequences that help further explain the connection that is present among the characters.

He is determined to finding the medicine needed to save her. This leads to him purchasing the needed drugs from a sketchy downtown dealer. Unfortunately, not long into his drive him he is stopped and gunned down by a gang of thieves. They take everything, including the medicine. Initially Capheus is shocked but soon comes to realize that the pills are the determinant for his mother’s survival. This desperation acts as a catalyst and leads Capheus to go after the thieves and get back what is rightfully his. He eventually catches up to the group of thieves and initiates a fight against the group, which he unfortunately has no hope in winning. This is when the story begins connecting and just as Capheus reaches the edge of his abilities and possibly his life, his connection with Son (Seoul businesswoman) kicks in, literally.

sense8 capheus thrown against bus ep 3Simultaneously back in Seoul, Sun abandons her work at the office after a mysteriously urgent phone call. It is clear that she is in some sort of trouble within her company. Sun decides to leave the office, taking her frustrations with her, and soon after ends up in a underground boxing ring. It is obvious that Sun has had some experience in the ring and right away shows off her impressive skills against her male opponent. However, her fight is interrupted by a bloody Corpheus who is on the ground of the ring asking for her help.

sense8 ep 3 smart money on skinny bitch images 2015Here begins the intense action scene that finishes off the episode. Sun continues to beat her in-ring opponent, but at the same time also transfers her fighting skills over to Capheus, who is then able to defeat the gang of thieves.

It seems yet again the show relies on the cliffhanger ending to keep viewers tuning in for more. Although there were a few hints of the big plot line in the core of the episode, it really wasn’t until the last 5 minutes that we were able to see any headway being made in establishing the powers that lie within the connection. Here’s hoping after three episodes, now that we have more of an idea of who the characters are, Sense8 gives us a bit more to chew on in terms of the underlying plot.

Three major silverwares with Barcelona and a fantastic performance with the national team in Copa America have made Messi the favorite to win the Ballon d’Or in 2016.

The Barca ace came within touching distance of lifting the World Cup in July last year. Prior to the grand finale in Brazil, Messi had iterated that he’d give up the Ballon d’Or for the World Cup trophy.

“I would give all my personal records to be world champion,” Messi had told German tabloid Bild ahead of the final. “I’d prefer to win the World Cup than the Ballon d’Or. As a player, winning the World Cup is the biggest thing there is. It’s something you dream of as a youngster and that dream never fades away.”

Argentina fought hard but Mario Gotze’s extra-time winner allowed the Germans to lift the gold. After losing to Germany in the final the Argentine skipper was inconsolable.

“I don’t care about the prize [Golden Ball]. I don’t care about anything. Right now, nothing can console me — not the award or anything else,” Messi said. “I wanted to take Argentina to the World Cup for all the people.

He added: “I believe this World Cup deserved another final because we had chances. We reached the final… but we’re disappointed not to have won this game. There’s a lot of anger.”

The Copa America win in Chile might subside that anger a bit. They face the hosts Chile on July 4th at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago. Messi would certainly want to keep his determination alive as the World Cup is still three years away. The diminutive Argentine would certainly want to end his career after being crowned a World champion. For now, he’ll have to find satisfaction with the Ballon d’Or trophy. Performance wise, only Cristiano Ronaldo is in the competition with the Barcelona stalwart but in terms of silverwares, the Portuguese forward can’t compete with Messi this year.

In all competitions last season, Leo netted 58 goals in 57 appearances for the Catalan giants Barcelona. Although, he falls short of Ronaldo’s tally of 61 goals in only 54 games. But Messi is quite ahead of the Real Madrid star when we consider other stats such as assists. Messi bagged a total of 28 assists in contrast to Ronaldo’s 22.

Leo Messi has already lifted the award four times, which is a record in itself. At this point, it seems his fifth win is inevitable. The 28-year-old is already being dubbed as one of the greatest players of all time and it is quite likely that he might rule at the top for a few more years.

Born in Rosario, Argentina, Messi has made his countrymen proud on many previous occasions but he’s dying to win a major trophy in the blue and white jersey of Argentina. It has been an incredible year for Messi and the Copa America win would be a cherry on the top.

Until and unless Messi has a terrible next six months on the pitch and Ronaldo pulls more rabbits from the hat, there doesn’t seem to be any reason explaining why Messi won’t win the ‘World Player of the Year 2015’.

aaron hernandez rejected by judge 2015 imagesIt doesn’t come as a surprise that the Massachusetts judge who heard the murder trial of Aaron Hernandez has rejected his legal teams motions to throw out his first-degree conviction or at least reduce it to second-degree murder. It didn’t take long for the former New England Patriots tight end’s legal guys to jump into action to toss the conviction which is pretty normal in cases like this.

It’s not over yet for them as they’re still working on their possible jury corruption angle to get a mistrial in the Odin Lloyd murder case. The one person standing in their way again is the judge who has prohibited access to this juror for either the defense team or the prosecution. You can be sure they’ll keep pushing on this angle as it’s their last chance on this verdict.

Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh turned down a motion for a required finding of not guilty in the 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd. A jury convicted Hernandez in April. The motion was a procedural step that had to be taken before an appeal.

“Considering the evidence in the light most favorable to the Commonwealth, the court finds that a rational jury could find that the Commonwealth proved every essential element of the crimes charged in counts 1 and 2 beyond a reasonable doubt,” Bristol County Superior Court Judge E. Susan Garsh, the trial judge, wrote in a June 25 ruling.

After Hernandez was convicted by jury in April of first-degree murder and two firearms charges, his defense lawyers filed a motion asking the court to invalidate the jury’s verdict and find Hernandez not guilty on the murder charge and one of the gun charges. They also asked the judge to reduce his first-degree murder conviction to second-degree murder. Garsh denied all of the requests.
First-degree murder convictions in Massachusetts result in an automatic appeal before the state’s highest court, so the motion filed in Superior Court is not Hernandez’s last chance to challenge his guilty verdict.

The 25-year-old Bristol, Conn. native, who is awaiting a second trial in a 2012 double murder, does not dispute that he witnessed Lloyd’s killing in June 2013. But his lawyers argue that the government failed to prove anything beyond his presence at the scene of the crime. Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancée, was shot to death in a North Attleborough, Mass. park blocks from where the former Patriots tight end lived.

The jury convicted Hernandez of first-degree murder by extreme cruelty or atrocity, one of two legal standards the government can prove to win a first-degree murder conviction.

In their post-verdict arguments, defense attorneys have challenged the extreme cruelty or atrocity element of the crime. While acknowledging that all murders are cruel, they say the six gunshot wounds that killed Lloyd are not so extreme as to merit first-degree murder.
“There was no evidence that Lloyd was tortured or mutilated, that he experienced protracted suffering, or that Hernandez took any pleasure in his pain,” defense lawyers James Sultan and Michael Fee wrote in the motion filed after the verdict, saying the killing did not “deviate in any drastic sense from the norm for such grave and tragic crimes.”

When Garsh gave the jury instructions on how to apply the law, she listed seven factors they could use in deciding whether Lloyd suffered an extremely cruel and atrocious death. One of those factors was “number of blows delivered” – and a juror said after the verdict she found six gunshot wounds “extreme.” Hernandez’s lawyers argue that this case differs from other recent shooting cases that resulted in an extreme cruelty or atrocity finding, and cite cases that involved 15 to 23 gunshot wounds. Before the case went to the jury, they tried to convince the judge to give a different, more limited set of instructions on extreme cruelty or atrocity.

Bristol County Assistant District Attorney William McCauley described the defense motion as “completely meritless” in a filing.

“This was a brutal and senseless crime that was carried out with extreme violence,” McCauley wrote. “The defendant was pitiless, failing to show either mercy or remorse.”

In his closing argument, McCauley spent several minutes reminding the jury of surveillance footage they saw during the trial that showed Hernandez lounging by his backyard pool the day after the killing. Lloyd was already dead, baking in the sun less than a mile away with flies buzzing around his nostrils.

Garsh says in the decision released Wednesday that prosecutors proved their case beyond a reasonable doubt.

The first-degree murder conviction carries an automatic sentence of life without parole.

Still pending is a separate request from Hernandez’s lawyers to investigate an anonymous tip that a juror in the case might have been untruthful during jury selection.

THE BACHELORETTE 1108: RIP Cupcake Chris’ Emotions

kaitlyn bristown in bed with shawn bachelorette 1108 imagesThe Bachelorette week 8 aired this week, picking up right where it left off, with Shawn B. bringing up his confusion and frustrations with Kaitlyn in her Dublin hotel room. After a long talk, Shawn finally calms down enough to go back to the Bachelor suites. Here, Nick and fellow contestant Tanner are seen talking about Shawn and how upset he seems. Tanner also mentions how Shawn is the only one still being cold towards Nick, insisting to call him “the other guy.”

Kaitlyn Bristowe decides to take JJ and Joe on the double date. They go off on a boat trip around various islands in Ireland. They have a rest stop, where the three of them enjoy a picnic lunch.

The double date is no doubt awkward. Even Joe admits that it is hard to get over the fact that he has to share Kaitlyn with JJ. I feel bad watching the two men attempt to bare their souls to Kaitlyn in front of one another. Unfortunately, JJ and Joe will need to put their hearts out there, as its their one chance to earn their spot and not be sent home.

Joe takes Kaitlyn aside, which makes the three-person date much more bearable to watch. It is definitely much easier watching him pour his heart out without another grown man present. Joe finally admits to Kaitlyn that he was falling in love with her, which was long overdue considering many of the other men have already done so.

Next JJ takes some time alone with Kaitlyn. He seems nervous as he tells her that he is going to reveal something that he is evidently ashamed of. He goes on to tell Kaitlyn that he cheated on his wife, which resulted in him losing his family, including half of the custody of his young daughter. Kaitlyn shows understanding, but also reveals that one of her biggest fears in a relationship is cheating.

SPOILER: At the end of the double date, she decides that it is JJ’s time to leave the competition. I think it could be partially due to his confession, which I don’t believe worked in his favor. It may have been his attempt at gaining her trust, but to me I think it only made Kaitlyn associate JJ with her fear of cheating.

Just a day later, Shawn decides he hasn’t said enough to Kaitlyn about how he is feeling and decides to go once again to her room. Again, she thinks he knows about her having sex with Nick, even though he doesn’t. He is actually upset with watching her connect with the other men after she apparently said “you’re the one” off camera in Texas last week. Kaitlyn expresses relief after she realizes that Shawn isn’t aware of her and Nick.

If I were Kaitlyn I would be hesitant to express this relief, as inevitably Shawn will be seeing this and no doubt it will cause some problems in their relationship, whether it ends up being romantic or not.

Later when Kaitlyn sat down with all the men and is able to have some one-on-one time with Nick. Surprisingly, we see Nick break down, as he fears he is yet again becoming overconfident in his position within the competition. Somehow his tears seem forced and insincere to me. I think this is mostly due to his prior villainous persona, and partially his smile that appears more as a sneaky smirk than anything genuine.

Shortly after, Kaitlyn gathers the men for the week’s rose ceremony. With Joe, Jared and Nick having roses already, Kaitlyn has three more to give out to the other five remaining contenders.

SPOILER:

Kaitlyn gives her first two roses to Ben H. and Chris – which is the dentist who initially pulled up in a cupcake mobile. With Shawn, Tanner, Ben Z. left, Kaitlyn decides to give the final rose to Shawn.

This decision kind of adds to the rumor that Shawn may be the winner, as he was shown in a recent Snapchat story of Kaitlyn’s – which was quickly deleted.

Following this, Kaitlyn has a sit down with host Chris Harrison. He explains to Kaitlyn that next week she will be cutting the six men down to three. These three bachelors will share a night in the infamous fantasy suite with her, giving them off-camera time. Following this, Kaitlyn will choose two of them and go to their hometowns to meet their families. This is a twist in the show’s set-up, moving the hometown dates further in the season and involving fewer men.

SPOILER:

After this news, Kaitlyn chooses Chris for her one-on-one date. They take a helicopter to the Irish countryside for a picnic. Suddenly, Kaitlyn begins breaking down after Chris asks her how she is doing. She begins explaining that she doesn’t feel true chemistry with Chris, even if he “checks off all the boxes.” Chris’ shot at Kaitlyn’s heart is abruptly cut off, leaving both Kaitlyn and Chris sobbing as they split ways.

That’s been a fact for some time now as Amazon has evolved into a one stop online shop for everything, except illegal stuff of course. Amazon developed its own e-book reader the Kindle, which evolved into a tablet, the Kindle Fire and the company later developed its own smartphone, the Fire Phone. It’s invested in many companies and technologies its most ambitious project yet is delivery using drones. With its own mobile devices to support, Amazon has also gotten into games development through Amazon Game Studios and has finally recognized that it needs to get serious with gaming by invading the PC and console platforms.

Games development for PCs and consoles is a very lucrative industry, especially when a game becomes a blockbuster and later becomes a franchise. One lucky hit could propel Amazon Game Studios and Amazon to new heights of profitability in the PC/console market. Amazon knows this and wants to make a grand entrance. To do this, they hired some of the best and brightest from various games studios. Names like Clint Hocking, credited for working on Far Cry 2 and formerly from Ubisoft; Kim Swift from Portal; Double Helix, developer of the latest Killer Instinct and other developers that worked on A-List games such as The Last of Us, Half-Life 2 and Halo. Such a portfolio is enough to make many gamers’ mouths water in anticipation. Just what is Amazon planning to make? What does it have in store for gamers? With such a stellar cast, how could Amazon Game Studios possibly fail like it did with the Fire Phone?

What better way to force the sales of devices than a good game library? Games make up a huge percentage of apps available for any platform, the lack of which often spells doom for fledglings. A good example is Windows 8 RT, which even though it has a few gems, failed to take off because it didn’t have the support of most games developers; while with Windows 10, Microsoft went out of its way to make partnerships with many game studios like King resulting in the inclusion of Candy Crush Saga in Windows 10’s preloaded games.

To emphasize that Amazon Game Studios isn’t playing around when it comes to games, they’ve developed several cool games not just for its own devices but for other mobile platforms:

The game takes advantage of the Fire Phone’s four front mounted cameras for a more immersive experience where a turn of the head changes the game’s view and a zoomed view results when the player takes a closer look at the phone. The game works just as well on other devices. The game has great haunting graphics and compelling story. Another similar game made by Amazon is Til Morning’s Light where the player must guide a teenage girl trapped in a haunted house combines puzzle solving and rhythm based combat

The Unmaking is what happens when Plants vs Zombies is combined with the Lord of the Rings. It’s a harrowing Tower Defense game with a great story. The gods have been angered and have marked the player for annihilation by sending ravenous hordes to attack the player’s castle. Amazon’s collaboration with talented developers resulted in a game that successfully exceeds the limitations of its hardware. The game has great gloomy and sinister visuals, handles hundreds of sprites without slowing down and has great controls. Other notable games include CreepStorm and the upcoming Tales from Deep Space.

With such offerings, a great PC hit would not be impossible for Amazon. However, if not for this and other write-ups, Amazon has relatively been unnoticed as a games developer. Amazon is still better known for delivering consoles, cartridges and DVDs of games from other studios and gamers have long been anticipating their games delivery via unmanned drone. Apart from the games mentioned, the company has a good library of mobile games made with the help of seasoned gaming vets. The problem perhaps lies more on marketing. It’s a bit weird saying that with regards to Amazon, but perhaps more ads on TV and social media is needed, especially now if the company wants to make a splash in PC or console gaming. The gaming landscape could sure use another developer hopefully with an innovative, bug-free, minimal-DRM game. If this endeavor takes off, expect a Fire-PC or KindleBox delivered via drone near you.

The three ended their little “15 minutes” with LaBelle’s song If Only You Knew.

It was interesting to see it. I mean I am glad that they have gotten past their beef. But I do wonder if it is for real. IDK… just something about it didn’t seem totally authentic…. Kind of fake.

If she has changed her mind on what it means to be a Christian or sex before marriage or whatever, she should just fucking say it. Stop trying to make all the excuses of why what happened is exactly what you wanted to happen when it really is NOT. It just goes to show that those right-winged conservatives will look you dead in the eye, punch you in the lip and swear up and down that they didn’t… while they are still punching you in the lip. Idiots!

Of course, to show how much we can trust her words, Palin’s suddenly been on the defensive claiming that she was never paid to be an abstinence spokesperson; although, it’s been discovered that she’s earned over $300,000 spreading the close your legs message. She had to admit (because of tax records) that she has been employed by the Candies Foundation and earned $262,500 in 2009 and $70K in 2010.

Trying to backtrack and pretend that all those ads touting abstinence have been erased from the internet, Bristol is claiming that her focus was on preventing teen pregnancy. I guess when you hit 20, you can pump out all those out of wedlock babies you want.

In 2009, she told Good Morning America, “regardless of what I did personally, I just think that abstinence is the only … 100 percent foolproof way to prevent pregnancy,” and promised a magazine in that year, “I’m not going to have sex until I’m married: I can guarantee it.”

And when Palin made an appearance with the head of the Candie’s Foundation on Greta Van Susteren‘s On The Record in 2010, Van Susteren introduced her by saying, “”Bristol is promoting abstinence for the Candie’s Foundation.”

Yeah, we really believe you planned this pregnancy too Bristol. You’re becoming an even bigger joke than your mom, Sarah and that’s saying a lot!

Well thanks to his honest comments, companies are dropping him left and right. The most recent entities to announce they are ending their relationship with the Donald – NBC Universal.

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values…Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBC Universal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.”

That includes shows, pageants and God knows what else. Serves him right. That’s right Mr. Trump, YOU, muthafucka, are fired!

big brother jason dethrones 1703 2015On last night’s episode of Big Brother, Da’vonne said she is a super Big Brother fan. Jeff said he had hoped Jackie would win the first HOH competition. Jace said Austin was the yang to his ying. Jason moved into the HOH room with James, who said he needed to establish a foundation in the game. Jace said he wanted to take over the room and make the women in the house his women. Jason said he and James being along together in the HOH room would help them talk about the game. Jason said his biggest threat in the game would probably be the bigger guys in the house. Jeff said his relationship with Jackie was shaky because she wanted to be a couple and he didn’t. He then  said his strategy was to create space between him and Jackie so the housemates wouldn’t see them as a pair.

Da’vonne and Vanessa were told they can’t be eliminated this week.. Then Da’vonne and Vanessa each got to choose a house guest that would also be safe. Vanessa she she wanted to pick someone who was likely to become HOH next week and that she wanted it to be someone with a different skill set than her. Steven said James has been avoiding him and Da’vonne said that was because Steve reminded the housemates of the person who won the previous season of Big Brother. Da’vonne chose Liz to be safe from elimination. Vanessa chose Austin to stay in the competition for at least another week

Jason told Steven he was a pawn in this game because he is so grateful to be there that no one wants to take advantage of him.

All of the house guests sat down at the table to hear Jason and James announce the nominees for the two house guests getting evicted. John and Becky were chosen by Jason for eviction because they hadn’t taken the time to communicate with him. James then announced that he was nominating Steven and Jackie because he wanted them out of the game. He then dismissed the house guests from the table. Jace said that even know everyone else was worried about elimination he wasn’t because he feels like he has been social enough so far in the game and that he was making new relationships that would take him far. Audrey said she was happy because everything had turned out the way she wanted it to. Steven and Jackie talked about the fact that they couldn’t expect anything. Steven hugged Becky who confessed that she had too much confidence that she was safe from eviction. She said she was surprised and a little hurt to be nominated for elimination. Jason then told Becky she was nominated for eviction just to shake up the other house guests. He told Becky she had friends in the Big Brother house and confessed that he was trying to do damage control. Becky confessed she was trying to get Jason to trust her in the hopes that he will get eliminated from the game next week.

James’ nominees and Jason’s nominees had to compete to determine who would be safe from eviction. Both teams had to build a new skyscraper for the simulated city. Steve said he wanted to win the Battle of the Block because it was the only way he could save himself. Jeff said he couldn’t show his excitement because he didn’t want a target on his back. John and Becky then won the Battle of the Block, dethroning Jason from the head of household. Jason said he hoped James would stick with their plan.

Chelsea were crowned the champions and no other team came close to the summit of the table. The Blues might get good competition this year as the top teams in England are building up quite well to challenge for the league title.

There are a plenty of transfer rumors flying around in the newspapers as the summer transfer window is set to formally open on July 1st. The David de Gea saga has pulled in a lot of star names, more than one could have expected. It is believed that Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is refusing to get bullied by the giants Real Madrid. The former Premier League Player of the Year, Gareth Bale was allegedly asked for in return of United’s star player. But the Welshman made his intentions to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu quite clear. The English giants are now in pursuit of Sergio Ramos, who is reportedly unhappy at the club and wants to move away. If the deal goes through, which seems very unlikely as of now, it could prove to be a magnificent signing for Louis van Gaal as Ramos’s presence in the first team would motivate all the players and the 20-time English champions will get a very good leader at Old Trafford. Nicolas Otamendi rumors have calmed down as all eyes are monitoring Ramos’s situation at Real Madrid.

Bastian Schweinsteiger discarded all the rumors which linked him to a move to the Red Devils. The German midfielder would most likely stay at Bayern Munich, possibly until he decides to hang his boots. The French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin could on his way to United as the Saints player already made it clear that he would like to move to a club in the Champions League. A deal could be announced as soon as this weekend, if the sources are to be believed.

The Blues will also want to bring in a second choice keeper after Petr Cech sealed his move to Arsenal. Arda Turan is also in talks with the top Premier League clubs and Chelsea is being dubbed as his most desired destination.

Arsenal are in pursuit of Man United target Schneiderlin but it is expected that the Gunners would lose this race to their hated rivals. Arturo Vidal is also on the wish list of Arsene Wenger, who wants his men to build on the FA Cup victory and challenge for the title. Lacazette is also on radar as the North Londoners don’t have a consistent striker in their ranks.

Manchester City have had bids rejected for Raheem Sterling. The Liverpool wonder kid wants to move away from the club and City are trying to tempt the young Englishman to the Etihad. Sergio Aguero is also being linked to Real Madrid as Florentino Perez is keen to bring in a striker to compete with Barcelona’s signing of Luis Suarez.

petr cech seals arsenal move soccer 2015It’s official. Petr Cech has completed his move from Chelsea to Arsenal. The towering goal keeper had fallen out of favor at the Stamford Bridge as Thiraut Courtois returned from Atletico Madrid to claim the number 1 spot.

The 33-year-old penned a farewell letter to all the Chelsea staff and fans. Cech thanked everyone at the club for bearing with him during his 11 years in West London.

He posted a picture on twitter saying: “I thought this would never happen but it is time for me to say goodbye to Chelsea football club.

“The club I have lived every single minute for since joining in July 2004, the club in which I thought I’d hang my gloves and boots one day and finish my career.

“But life doesn’t always turn out the way you think it will.

“Since 2004 it has been an incredible journey with so many highs and lows.

“We have managed to win every single English trophy as well as the Europa League and the biggest of all – Champions League.

“Looking back at all the achievements, including our first ever league double in 2010, back to back titles in 2005 and 2006, and multiple EPL and FA Cup wins, I couldn’t be more proud!

“As a team we made history together!

“Last summer things changed and I understood I was no longer the first-choice keeper but I felt it was not the right time for me to go.

“During the season it became clear that my situation would not improve and as I know I am not at the stage of my career where I want to be on the bench.

“I made my decision to look for new challenges.

“The limited playing time gave me the chance to refresh and rest mentally as well as make me realise just how much I enjoy playing football at the highest level because I missed it badly every game day I was not involved.

“I have the same commitment to football, the same motivation and the same hunger for success as I had at the beginning of my career and I love the challenges brought by top-quality players you face while playing in the Premier League – simply the best and the most challenging in the world.

“That’s why I spoke to Mr Abrahimovic about me staying in the Premier League and I’d like to thank him from the bottom of my heart for his support in this matter.

“It means so much to me because without him Chelsea football club would not be where it is now.

“He deserves huge credit for what he has done for the the club and all of us.

“I would like to personally thank everybody involved with Chelsea football club for their support – all the payers, staff, managers and all the coaching staff I have had the pleasure of working with over the years.

“Without them it would have been impossible for us to have achieved such success.

“But most important of all – a huge thank you goes to all the Chelsea fans.  I did everything for you and you gave me your love back.  I’ll never forget it.  It will stay with me forever.  We will meet again but this time I will be in the other goal – I hope you will remember our history and understand it is time for me to begin a new adventure.”

The Czech International will play against his former club on August 2 when Chelsea face Arsenal at the Wembley Stadium in the Community Shield match. Arsene Wenger has a great squad at his disposal now and with Cech in between the sticks, the Gunners will get more motivation to challenge for the title. If the North Londoners don’t get many injury problems they’ll genuinely be contenders for Chelsea’s Premier League crown. Petr Cech is without a doubt one of the best signings of Arsene Wenger and he can certainly help them lift more silverwares.
