Guess what. "Ballers,"Joe is a bit of a hot head. Spencer got to see the office destruction left by his buddy Joe on his way out of the company. It was nasty scene and the workers are just lucky he didn't take out that frustration on them.
Lucky for "Ballers" viewers, Spencer Strasmore (Dwayne Johnson) is going to be fine. His brain is intact according to his doctor. An early demise by Spencer and this show would not make it on Youtube, much less HBO. I will give credit where it’s due.
Awful. I don't know how to be any clearer about this week's episode of "Ballers." They could have re-ran most any prior episode. That's how little happened this week. I could summarize the 30 minutes I sat through in about four sentences, but that would be too kind.
The title of this week's "Baller's" episode is one of the worst clichés ever. "Everything is Everything," is the same as saying nothing at all. Just like, "it is what it is." Athletes love to use both those little idiotic phrases and I will even self-report using them in the past.
I guessed that we might see some major blow back from last week's yacht party on "Ballers." A failed drug test may still be looming for Vernon, but the only one who faced some issues from the party was Charles.
This week's installment of "Ballers" centered around a corporate event to entice more athletes to come on board with Spencer's financial company. Spence and Joe have to ask permission from their boss to use his beloved yacht.
"Ballers'" lead man Spencer Strassmore had a little more success in this week's episode. Although Dwayne Johnson's character had to put up with more ridiculous behavior from the athletes he is looking to sign, he finally landed a big name in Vernon Littlefield.
Let me set the scene for the all new HBO series "Ballers." Spencer Strassmore, played by "The Rock", is out to make a name as a financial adviser to NFL ballers. Strassmore is a former player who has a circle of friends still in the game that he needs as clients.
