Kim Kardashian is pregnant with her second child, who she has revealed to be a boy. She has now been embracing her growing bump for a few weeks and continued to do so over the weekend, as she went to lunch with husband Kanye West.

While out, Kim wore a tight purple dress, matching coat, heels and sunglasses.

Kim took to Twitter to update her followers on the progress of her pregnancy, saying:

“I’m at the stage now where I wake up with a flat belly but then as I eat and by the end of the day it pops out! This means it’s about to pop”

About a week ago, singer Cody Simpson opened up to Yahoo! Style about his recent split with supermodel Gigi. In addition, Cody also told the media outlet that both him and Gigi are single and have not moved on to any new romantic relationships since their May split.

Although Amanda didn’t reveal whom the male star she is referring to, many are guessing that it is Channing Tatum, who starred with Amanda in Dear John.

This is even worse than the typical 70 cents to every dollar that women generally earn compared to men in the same position. It seems that Amanda has rightfully identified that female stars are going to have to be assertive when negotiating pay and ensure that they are getting equal pay for their work relative to their male co-stars.

THE BACHELORETTE 1110: Shawn Strips Down For Kaitlyn Overnite

This week on The Bachelorette begins with Kaitlyn Bristowe having her overnight with Ben. She reveals she is looking forward to spending time with Ben, as he is not involved in feuding between Shawn and Nick.

After a day of horseback riding and the typical picnic in a field that The Bachelorette loves to throw in every episode, Kaitlyn and Ben reside to a 19th century castle in Ireland for dinner and their overnight date.

During their dinner, Ben prepares Kaitlyn for a “bombshell.” He reveals…he turned 26 while being on the show. This reveals to Kaitlyn that there is 4 years between her and Ben. He does ensure that she knows this gap isn’t an issue for him and hopes it won’t be for her as well.

Ben seems like a nice guy, but its moments like this, where he makes it seem like he isn’t too complex. If he believes revealing he recently had a birthday deserves such an intense build-up, I don’t think he has enough intrigue to make Kaitlyn keep him around.

Shawn is forced to wear a bright pink shirt with vibrant blue pants. Kaitlyn says, “Shawn looks like a huge dork…a hot dork,” however, if it were me I would just leave it at dork.

As a self-proclaimed “dare” guy, Shawn ends up streaking across the golf course. At this point, it seems Shawn is definitely more of a match to Kaitlyn’s bold sense of humor.

At dinner, Kaitlyn reveals that Nick told her that Shawn had been bragging about being “eskimo brothers” with a country singer (meaning that he slept with a girl the same night as a country singer). This gets Shawn fired up and sends him on a rant about how horrible a guy Nick is.

In attempt to calm Shawn down, Kaitlyn presents the fantasy suite card to him and they head off to their off-camera time.

After leaving the hotel, Shawn is right away faced with Nick, who wants to talk. However, Shawn isn’t in the mood, but somehow Nick weasels his way into a conversation with Shawn in his hotel room.

After all the overnight dates, Kaitlyn sits down with host Chris Harrison to talk about her 3 options. She expresses that she doesn’t want to let the rivalry between Nick and Shawn get in the way of her choosing the right person. She also reveals that she knows Ben would be a perfect husband and admires how he has stayed out of the “high school like” fighting that the other two have gotten into. Nevertheless, it seems that Kaitlyn doesn’t seem to have the same spark and excitement when she talks about Ben, as she does talking about Shawn and Nick.

Following this, Kaitlyn and the remaining 3 men enter the rose ceremony.  Not surprisingly, Kaitlyn decides to give the 2 roses to Nick and Shawn (called it!!!). Of course, the two drama queens get to stay and fight it out for Kaitlyn’s love.

Ben was probably the most practical and safe choice for Kaitlyn, but practical and safe doesn’t make for good television!

Now begins the hometown dates.

Kaitlyn’s first hometown date is with Nick in Deer Valley, Utah. Here, Nick reveals that he is “totally in love” with Kaitlyn. Even though it literally looks like a re-run of Nick’s hometown date with Andi Dorfman, the last bachelorette, Kaitlyn somehow finds his proclamation of love authentic and “reassuring.”

Although to me it feels like a re-run, somehow Nick’s mother felt “completely different” this time around. Oh, and also Nick really cares about Kaitlyn partially because “she’s good at making out,” he so boldly explains to his mother.

Next, Kaitlyn heads to Windsor Locks, Connecticut to meet Shawn’s family. Kaitlyn is concerned that Shawn may not be ready for marriage; therefore she takes the opportunity to ask his family what they think. Of course, they assure Kaitlyn that he is ready. In addition, telling her that they see an obvious “spark” between her and Shawn (seemingly a required statement from every family visit).

Personally, I am still waiting for a hometown date to go horribly wrong. Unfortunately, it wont be in this season, as both families “absolutely adore” Kaitlyn.

The episode ends with an emotional Kaitlyn gazing out from her hotel room deck, as she ponders whom she will give the last rose to.

The team spent last year dodging toxic headlines about Jameis Winston then went on to get completely embarrassed by Oregon in the college football playoff. Winston was made to look a fool on the field in that game, which matched his antics in regular society. The offseason has been no better as the Seminoles have managed to stay in the news for all the wrong reasons. QB De’Andre Johnson was accused of punching a woman at a bar, then the video surfaced to make it official….he punched a woman in a bar. Then for good measure running back Dalvin Cook allegedly punched a 21-year-old woman in the face numerous times outside a Tallahassee bar.

We all know that college athletes are not angels. They are not recruited for their ability to move smoothly through society. They get recruited for their ability to run smoothly through the line of scrimmage or shoot long range three pointers. However, Florida State’s football team is going well beyond the anti-choir boy status. These players appear to be attempting to break into prison long before their college eligibility runs out.

Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher sees a pattern….after two years of chaos off the field, so he is trying to make his players understand the importance of staying on the right side of the law. “We spend a good deal of time educating our student-athletes about appropriate behavior and their responsibilities as representatives of Florida State. The majority of our players are exemplary, but clearly we must place an even stronger emphasis on this, and I personally promise we will,” Fisher stated.

Coach Fisher has a lot on his plate at the moment so I thought I might pitch in and help his Seminoles get back on track. FSU is in need of some outside the box thinking. I am afraid there won’t be enough players left to actually compete come fall, so drastic changes need to be made immediately. Here’s ten ways FSU can get a handle on its football team before something terrible happens…again.

  1. Fisher has got to recruit higher character guys! That was a joke. Do you know how much money Jimbo makes each year? About $5 million, so he can’t risk missing out on the best athletes just to bring in guys that are less likely to chain pitbull puppies together or hit females in the face. Just think about Fisher’s family. They are accustomed to a certain lifestyle and that shouldn’t change just because some of his players are prone to thuggish behavior. You have to roll the dice on a few guys to get the best of the best….on the field.
  2. It may be best to go ahead and put the football team on prison work detail on the weekends. That way they will be too tired to go out to bars at night and they can build up some “time served” for their eventual arrival at the pokey after their football career
  3. Free weed for the team would go a long way in calming these violent players when they are in public. I think society is better off with a high Seminole than an angry one at a bar.
  4. Coach Fisher could draw up a special play for his guys to remember when they are in close proximity to women. “Lazer 5 Right Walkout 22,” could be a simple play designed to make the guys walk away when they are tempted to throw a haymaker at a lady.
  5. I don’t know if a “Scared Straight” program would help these college aged men. A more extreme version might be necessary. Maybe an example could be made of the next player to be charged with a crime. Tossing the player in the cell with a serial killer on death row for a few hours and showing the footage in the film room should do the trick.
  6. Nightly phone calls from players’ moms to let mama remind the guys not to break the law and to treat females with the same respect they would show the woman who gave birth to these players. A personal visit for a smack to the head may be necessary on occasion as well.
  7. Special needs dogs could be appointed to each Seminole football player and trained to bite and restrain the player if it becomes apparent they are about to do harm in any way to a woman. These players truly have special needs. That much is obvious by now.
  8. While Coach Fisher has banned his players from visiting bars after this latest alleged woman beating incident, it might be better to just put the team on house arrest. They have everything they need in their dorm rooms and at the practice facilities, so there is no good reason to go anywhere. They could take classes online, which would also serve to free up a seat for a student that might actually be there for an education
  9. Coach Fisher needs a more authoritative name. “Jimbo” isn’t striking fear in anyone apparently. Maybe if the team was being coached by Ronnie Fisher or Alonzo Fisher, these wayward players would think better of disobeying their leader.
  10. The best thing for everyone in Seminole nation would be for each and every female within 42 miles of Tallahassee to take a Jiu Jitsu class. That way, if and when these ladies are eventually  attacked by a Seminole football player they can defend themselves properly. Perhaps Ronda Rousey could be brought in for a special one day defense course held on Florida State’s campus. She could use Dalvin Cook as a sparring partner during the course, and if he survives the day without a dislocated elbow then he gets his suspension lifted immediately.

Today Curtis Jackson a.k.a. rapper 50 Cent filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. It comes just days after Rick Ross’s baby momma Lastonia Leviston won her lawsuit against the G-Unit owner in which she is entitled to AT LEAST $5 million. Along with another lawsuit that is supposedly costing him about $17 million, according to the filing his assets and debts each range from $10 million to $50 million.

Perhaps the truth that lies in this and other incidents like this is the fact that Jenner can’t respond with anything other than pictures of her shoes, her car, her purses, shopping, and a video saying goodnight to Instagram because she lacks the intellect to do so.

Julia confessed to Vanessa that she is playing the game with her twin. Vanessa said they needed to get Shelli on her side because she believes Shelli trusts her. Shelli said she was going to help both Liz and Julia in the game and that it was more fun now.

Vanessa told Austin Julia is a twin, which Austin hadn’t realized. He said he understood now why his connection with Liz kept appearing and disappearing. Clay called Austin completely clueless. Julia said now that the secret is out she and Liz can preserve their position in the house. Meg said Audrey needs to be the one evicted this week.

Jason said he could be easy for Austin and Vanessa to put up for eviction because he hasn’t talked to the tow of them. Austin said that now that Julia has revealed she and her twin are playing the game he is going to help Julia even more than he has been. Jeff said maybe Audrey could be gotten rid of now that Vanessa and Austin are heads of household. James said Vanessa is a jack of all trades and he doesn’t know what to think of her. Austin said if Audrey was eliminated this week he would be the next target. Vanessa said James is the only one in the house she dislikes and she might put him up for eviction this week.

Pictures of the housemates when they were younger were put in the house. Austin said Clay Aiken is his favorite artists and that his music touches him inside. Julia and Liz then switched with Liz going into the house and Julia disappearing. Julia told,d Liz to stay away from Jason, James and Jeff. Liz said Austin and Vanessa are her two best friends in the house and now she and Julia are safe for the week. Vanessa said they wanted to keep it a secret that Liz and Julia are playing the game alternately. Shelli called Liz her sorority sister and said she was totally awesome.

John said that he suspected Liz looked different at times so John, James and Jeff went to talk to her. Liz told Jeff he was acting weird. Jeff started to figure out that Liz is a twin and Austin said he thought he knew more about it than Jeff did. Austin said Jeff was trying to figure out if Liz was a twin so Austin was going to need to protect her. John said he’d do what the heads of household told him to.

This week’s Battle of the Block was for the house guests to find a missing object and give it to the people in the maze foam. John said he was going to throw this challenge but didn’t want the other house mates to know what he was doing. Jason said he couldn’t see where he was going in the maze and couldn’t breathe well. Austin said John was doing what he promised Austin he would do. Jason said he and Meg were communicating well in this challenge. Meg and Jason won Battle of the Block for the week, which Meg said felt amazing. Vanessa was relieved she could remain head of household. Austin lost his head of household position and Austin said now he could execute the plan he and Vanessa created.

The lesser known of all the new signings to grace Old Trafford next season, Darmian is being touted as a great catch. The talented defender strikes a perfect balance between an attacking run down the right flank and the disciplined positional defending. In his time at the Serie A club Torino, Darmian was also a very consistent name on the team sheet. He isn’t injury prone but he may need time to adapt to the pace and intensity of the Premier League.

The most unexpected transfer of this summer till now has been the arrival of Bastian Schweinsteiger in the Premier League. The 2014 World Cup winner will ply his trade under his former boss LVG. In his first interview after signing a three year contract, the 31-year-old revealed that a move to United is a dream come true.

He also said, “Manchester United is the only club I would have left Munich for.” If this statement doesn’t instantly make him a fan favourite then nothing will.

Morgan Schneiderlin’s move to Old Trafford was a very confidential affair and it wasn’t known that if the Frenchman would go to Arsenal or Manchester United. The rumours of his transfer didn’t surface until Monday morning, a few hours before the unveiling of the player.

After completing the move, Schneiderlin told Manutd.com, “I am delighted to be a Manchester United player. Once I learned that United were interested in signing me, it was a very easy decision to make. I have enjoyed seven very happy years with Southampton and it’s a club that will always be in my heart. But the chance to be part of this squad to help this great club be successful was too good to miss.

He added: “I’m excited to be starting that journey on our trip to the USA. I know what Manchester United means to fans all over the world and I’m looking forward to experiencing that.”

The 25-year-old’s new boss was also delighted with the business they’ve done so far in this window. The Dutch master should be glad with the revamping job they have done to revamp Mancheser United’s midfield.

He told the club website: “Morgan is a very talented player with great energy and ability. His skills will complement the players that we already have and I am very pleased that we have been able to complete this deal before the tour to the United States. That training camp will be very important in our preparations for the new season and gives Morgan and the other players a chance to show our fans what they can achieve together.”

Chelsea FC have brought in Asmir Begovic from Stoke City to replace the club legend Petr Cech. The 28-year-old has signed a four-year contract and will wear the No.1 shirt for the Blues after leaving the Britannia Stadium. Thirbaut Courtois is currently the number 1 keeper at the West London club and thus Begovic will have to warm the bench for the Blues if the Belgian keeper is fully fit. Although Begovic is glad to join the Premier League champions and also believes that he would get ample opportunities to develop.

“I am very happy to be joining Chelsea FC,” he told Chelsea’s official website. “After speaking at length to the manager, I feel like I can develop here and be an important part of this team.

“I am looking forward to meeting up with the team on Wednesday for the pre-season tour.”

Stephen El Shaarawy has moved to the Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco on a loan deal with the club having an option of making the deal permanent. The 22-year-old striker was tipped to succeed at AC Milan after breaking through the ranks in Serie A. But the Italian giants themselves have fallen from their position at the top of the table.

In his first interview with the club website, the striker said: “It’s a great feeling to sign here in the principality. I’m very happy. I would like to thank the president of AS Monaco for this chance.

“I hope to have a great season with Monaco and to give pleasure to the fans.”

El Shaarawy has become very inconsistent and his performance level has dropped a bit. He made 14 Serie A starts for Milan last season, managing to score only three goals and setting up a further three.

Borussia Dortmund have allowed the misfit Ciro Immobile to join Sevilla in a temporary deal. Dortmund brought the striker from Torino for €19 million in an attempt to replace Robert Lewandowski. They can even make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

“For me it is an important year, because last year was not good,” Immobile said.

“It is beautiful to play in the Champions League and a new championship, I hope to do well.

“I am very happy because Sevilla are an important team. First I talked with [director of football] Monchi, who told me this is like a family, and for me it is very important this year to become part of this family after a negative year.

“Thanks to the president and Monchi who helped me come here. I’d like to be a few years at Sevilla, I hope to find a family in this team.”

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD Looks More than Promising


Comic Con has given us so much to be excited about, but one of the things I was personally excited about the most was to see the 3 minute trailer for the upcoming AMC series Fear The Walking Dead. At first, I was interested in the prequel series which will take us back to before zombies completely inhabited the earth. However, I did have doubts just because we didn’t have any visuals on it. The series creator said it would focus on how a family would deal with the crumbling, chaos filled world around them.

After seeing the trailer, I’m confident this won’t be just another shallow prequel simply looking to capitalize on the fame of the original series. This will serve as a great companion piece to the beloved Walking Dead.

They’re a blended family so there’s apparently some drama between who’s spending time at who’s house. Overall however, there’s nothing out of the ordinary about these two families. Slowly, the virus seems to creep its way in to these families lives until they’re all completely fighting for survival. The appearance of The Walking Dead would come across as sometimes a bit too glossy. This seems to have a bit more of raw/cinematic feel.

You can tell they’re going for a more personal feel so that you feel like you’re in the middle of the chaos yourself. Some people have complained that The Walking Dead focused too much on human drama and not enough on the zombies. However, once the world ends and you know how to kill the zombies, the thing you will fear the most would be each other. The family thrown in to end of the world chaos is always a timeless plot line because we all wonder “what we would do” at a time like this.

I’m also keeping in mind that the trailer is showing clips from the entire season and not just the pilot episode. If a show doesn’t start off with a huge bang, people are apt to give up on it. However, since we got to see so much a head of time I’m sure there is a lot to stick around for.

One of the biggest things that draws me to a series is the diversity in the cast. Although we don’t seem to have a prominent African-American character yet, we have several other different cultures being represented and that’s a good enough start for me. The show isn’t completely original and it does seem to fall back on some cliches like the pain the ass teenager who never listens to anything until their they’ve thrown the whole family in to turmoil. That’s not enough to stop me from writing. It’s just enough to make me hope things don’t get too problematic. Good or bad, I can’t wait to see things for myself on August 23rd.

DeAndre Jordan’s Saga is Over & Everyone Looks Horrible

deandre jordan mavericks clippers saga over 2015 nbaNow that the dust has settled and the hindsight is once again 20/20, the DeAndre Jordan Saga (Debacle, Charade, or whatever else you want to call it) wasn’t pretty…for anyone involved. At the end of the day, everyone looks worse because of it.

Let’s recap quickly: DeAndre Jordan decides to join the Dallas Mavericks, the Los Angeles Clippers freak out and fly down to his house in Houston refusing to leave until he changes his mind, he realizes he made a huge mistake, and now Clippers fans don’t have to throw away their DJ6 jerseys.

That’s the shorthand version. But when you start to dig, there was a little more drama and craziness involved. The end result was just a big mess that should embarrass everyone.

Jordan, of course, is at the center of the mess, and his leaving renders Dallas…well, centerless. The big man committed to the Mavs on July 3, only to change his mind five days later on the 8. Although Jordan should have never been pushed to the Mavs in the first place, once he committed, he should have honored it.

For those eight days, the Mavericks planned to have Jordan, one of the top centers in the game right now, on their roster for the season. Why does this matter? Because they didn’t, as a result of acquiring Jordan, feel the need to really chase after Marc Gasol, Robin Lopez, Roy Hibbert, or any other available big men in free agency. They found their guy early—or so they thought.

The real enemy here shouldn’t be Jordan, however—Dan Fegan, Jordan’s agent, deserves the largest serving of criticism.

To make a long story short, Fegan and Mavs owner Mark Cuban are buddies. Fegan wanted to help his billionaire friend out, so he pushed Jordan out of L.A. Well, Jordan realized this soon after, and needless to say he was pissed. Agents are supposed to do what’s best for their players, not whatever they can to help out a friend.

This revelation for Jordan was when he came to see that he had made a mistake, and it was also the reason that Jordan wouldn’t talk to Fegan on Wednesday during the Clipper Invasion of his home and why one of Fegan’s underlings was present at the contract signing.

Once again, that’s just not what an agent is supposed to do. Jordan loves the Clippers, he knows he will be successful there, and the Clips are able to offer more money than the Mavs. Why on earth would you want to move your client away from this?

Honestly, I’m a little surprised Jordan hasn’t fired him yet. And once Jordan does so, Dwight Howard and DeMarcus Cousins may follow suit. The last thing they want is their agent trying to push them somewhere that they either don’t want to go or won’t be as successful.

The Clippers should obviously be embarrassed by the whole situation as well. They barricaded Jordan in his house till he agreed to come back. Like c’mon man. I understand his agent tried to screw him over and everything but you can’t go around basically holding people hostage till they agree to play with you. The original meeting with Doc Rivers, Steve Ballmer, and Jordan was pushing it; but the house situation was just silly.

The end result of the whole saga: a change in NBA policy. Nothing has been announced yet, but it can’t be far off. The league needs to do something about the moratorium period in which players can enter into non-binding verbal agreements but not sign contracts. If Jordan’s commitment was settled and signed on July 3, none of the other shenanigans would have actually taken place.

Obviously, Jordan had a legitimate change of heart, and his agent should never have pushed him to Dallas without his full commitment mentally; but think of the huge opportunity cost he was for the Mavs who missed out on everyone else as a result. The way the rules are set up now, a superstar could “commit” to another team; and then leave before actually signing anything, essentially ruining their offseason.

At the end of the day, I’m glad DeAndre Jordan is back in Los Angeles. All his friends are there, he fits in well with the offense, and he keeps the team a legitimate contender every season. Unfortunately, what happened to the Mavs as a result is more a failure of policy than anything.

magic mike xxl sequel review 2015Don’t let the box office numbers fool ya, Magic Mike XXL really is one of the most fun movies of the summer…for the ladies anyways. I admit, I wasn’t a fan of the original Magic Mike film. I thought the first film featured pretty boring stripper routines, not enough stripper routines and a crappy story line that no one really cared about. I had very little interest in seeing the sequel, but as the reviews started pouring in my interest peaked. One of the biggest criticisms of the first film by myself and many others was that there was a lack of diversity among the strippers and the women in the audience were mostly cute little white girls. It was boring, bland and vanilla stuff

When I saw words like “diversity” and “feminist film” all I could sat was “oh really?” I’d have to try this one out for myself. Spending 2 hours with the sexy Channing Tatum isn’t exactly torture of course so, for a few dollars ( I did see it during matinee) I decided to give this hunk fest a try.

Damn was I glad I took that risk! This is a very rare occasion where a sequel was better than the first film. For starters, it didn’t try to get too deep in to a plot line or a romance. Sadly, the writer still felt Magic Mike needed a completely irrelevant love interest but at least it didn’t consume half of the movie this time. The film felt much more at ease with a more road trip type feel and easy going dialogue that never tries to feel serious, it’s just fun. If you could listen to a bunch of meat head strippers talk, this is most likely what their talks would sound like. There’s been much talk about the poor writing but do critics really think we women went to see this movie for Oscar winning writing material?

Joe Manganiello had more of a lead role as a loud, fast talking and pretty bimboish “male entertainer.” He was hilarious and played the role really well. His side plot line is pretty tongue and cheek. Pour Big Dick Richie is a little too big and needs to find his perfect fit. It’s a fun plot line that’s not meant to be taken seriously at all and is really quite hilarious. His strip scene to The Backstreet Boys I Want it That Way, is one of the best scenes of the entire film.

Jada Pinkett Smith is a badass MC named Rome who owns a male strip castle. I loved that her castle catered almost exclusively to black women. This is where the Magic Mike movies redeemed themselves. There are black women in this castle of all beautiful shades, colors and sizes. A strip scene with Michael Strahan (yup, Michael Strahan. Who knew he had it like that?) was absolutely mind blowing and featured a plus size girl. Donald Glover from community is a cute vocalist who lends a very unique talent to the film. However, a stripper named Malik is simply not seen enough appearing in only a few scenes including the big finale of the film. If there’s a Magic mike 3, I really hope they have a black male stripper scene prominently throughout the film. One Latino is just not nearly enough.

It’s a very feminist oriented movie because Jada’s character teaches the men that it’s not nearly enough to just take off their clothes and throw their crotch in women’s faces. You need to make a woman feel like the queen she really is. That message is pumped throughout the film over and over again which is very welcomed.

Yes, the scenes in this film are raunchier and more sexually explicit. As Rome so boldly points out “Anyone who’s not on birth control needs to find an exit because this is some grown woman shit!” Grown woman shit it is. Many of the scenes feature mind blowing acrobatics and sexual simulations. I can see where these scenes would be extremely shocking for people who’ve never seen this sort of thing before. When I saw this film with a friend there were only 3 other people in the entire theater so it was hard to see if anyone else was as hyped about it as we were.

The final sequence at the stripper convention was more original and fun than I could have ever expected. I thought it was going to be another tired group strip routine, but I was dead wrong. Each stripper in the “Resurrection” troupe (you have to see the film to understand why they have a new name) perform their own separate strip routine with their own themes. As the guys are gearing up for it, it’s almost impossible to figure out what their going to do but I was damn impressed with it when I saw it.

I have seen many people say they’ve been to viewings where young teenage girls were present. Although no “Sex” is shown, during the routines, much is simulated and it is just down right adult. Even if your 14 year-old hormone oozing daughter is a big Channing Tatum fan please, leave her at home!

Over all, there is nothing award-worthy about this film or revolutionary about it. However, it does tap in to exactly what women want in their sexual fantasies and had some fun male bonding scenes. The summer is a great time for light and shameless fun, this movie is the perfect companion for that. Take a bunch of your girlfriends to the theater and go have some raunchy fun!

Windows 10 Upgrade: Hope It’s Worth the Additional Wait

windows 10 additional wait 2015 techIt’s already the middle of July and Microsoft is inching closer and closer to prepping Windows 10 for prime time with fewer and fewer bugs and more improvements with every Insider release. It’s an object of anticipation for many Windows fans as well as Windows 7 and 8.1 users hoping to take advantage of its new features and signed up for the free upgrade. But Windows 10 may not be hitting everyone on the due date, which is July 29.

While July 29 is the official release date for Windows 10, not everyone who signed up for the free upgrade will get their shot on that date. Microsoft is however committed to follow through on its upgrade promise by displaying the Windows icon on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 systems eligible for the upgrade which could be more than a billion systems. Those systems consists of millions of desktops, laptops, tablets, hybrids and smartphones.

Users should understand that if done all at once, it could potentially be the biggest systems upgrade to be done online. Much bigger than when Apple users upgrade from their old version of iOS to a new one. Such an undertaking cannot be handled by Microsoft’s servers so the company decided to take it slow and do it in waves.

“We want to make sure all of you have a great upgrade experience, so we’ll roll-out Windows 10 in phases to help manage the demand… We are humbled by your excitement and we can’t wait to deliver Windows 10 to you soon.”

Aside from coping with its upcoming high demand, another concern which prevents the simultaneous upgrade is compatibility. That not all candidates will be fully compatible with the upgrade.

“…vast majority of Windows 7 and 8 PCs will be fully compatible with Windows 10. But the company hasn’t finished testing…We are not yet done, we will never be done…” said Myerson.

Basically, as with previous operating system upgrades, it’s still upgrade at your own risk. There’s still the risk of breaking or bricking the device. Just back up the data and everything should be just fine.

So is the potential of getting bricked worth it? Windows 10 does have several new features to offer. Among them are:

  • The return of the Start Menu whose omission in Windows 8 gave the faster and more optimized successor to Windows 7 an undeserved backlash. The Start Menu brings together the old start menu combined with Windows 8 tiles.
  • Project Spartan or Edge Browser that promotes more socialization and collaboration by enabling web page annotation and sharing. It’s apparently more optimized and secure than Internet Explorer and sports a reading mode for better article-reading experience.
  • Continuum which will provide a better overall experience when used in either PC or tablet.
  • Cortana, which is Microsoft’s answer to Apple’s Siri should make things easier for users with microphones. Users will be able to search for information online just by asking Cortana or perform supported Windows tasks.
  • Windows Hello biometric security which will give users an easier more secure way to log into their systems.
  • The return of a much improved Solitaire which Microsoft removed in Windows 8 and the addition of Candy Crush Saga.
  • A smart phone like action center where system and online notifications come in and where users can perform quick settings on their devices.

One major complaint of Windows XP and 7 users is the removal of the Windows Media Center. It’s also a shame though that Microsoft doubled back on their previous statements regarding pirates. They could have made millions of legit sailors out of them but that would mean additional millions of orders and additional days of waiting.

Users will be notified on when they can upgrade their computers. The queue as per Microsoft will be as follows:

  • Five million Windows Insiders already testing Windows 10 will be the first to be upgraded, should the promise of their final RTM copy push through.
  • After the insiders, ordinary consumers of Windows 7 and Windows 8 will be notified of when their upgrades will be available.
  • Business users and schools can start upgrading by August 1.

If Windows 10 proves to be a worthy successor to Windows XP and Windows 7, waiting a few more days shouldn’t be a problem. It’s been almost a decade since Windows 7, we can wait days or weeks more. People can hardly complain, after all, it’s free.

Ryan revealed that once again there will be characters from previous seasons “checking in” to the hotel.

Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated role in the new season was also revealed. She will be playing a character who is involved with fashion and she has actually been working with the costume designers to perfect her character’s outfits. Ryan also revealed that when he initially discussed the show with Gaga, she immediately asked to play an evil character.

However, although there have been a few musical numbers in previous seasons, Ryan did say that even with the addition of pop-star Lady Gaga, he has decided Hotel will have no musical numbers (adding that he got them out of his system in the last season, Freak Show).

The rest of the cast’s characters’ names were also revealed: Matt Bomer is Donovan, Evan Peters is Mr. March, Sarah Paulson is Hypodermic Sally and Kathy Bates is Iris. Angela Bassett has choosen to remain quiet about the details and name of her character.

The cast of the upcoming season of AHS will also include: Finn Wittrock, Denis O’Hare, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Chloe Sevigny.

In addition, Ryan touched on the fact that Sarah Paulson’s character has survived every season of American Horror Story and hinted that the writers will be changing that.

It has been reported that star Jessica Lange will be taking a year off from the show, but it is very possible she will return for future seasons.

Both Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are reacting to their breakup on social media in cryptic but somewhat telling ways.

Over the Fourth of July Weekend, reality star Kourtney Kardashian ended her relationship with Scott Disick, after pictures surfaced of Scott getting extra close to his ex-girlfriend in Monaco.

While neither stars have commented anything directly about their breakup, they both have been posting to their social media accounts.

On Saturday, Kourtney took to Twitter to post a quote from the New Testament of the Bible. The quote read, “There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:12.”

While it is clear that Kourtney’s family has been rallying behind her during the tough time, it has been reported that Scott’s friends have been urging him to reach out and get help.

Scott did decide to cancel his nightclub appearance in Las Vegas at 1Oak. Unfortunately, it was apparently because it was now too far to travel from New York, where he is staying, and he will still be attending another event at the Pool After Dark Nightclub at Harrah’s Resort in Atlandtic City next weekend.

Last week, director Judd Apatow took to Twitter to call out Whoopi Goldberg for continuing to defend Cosby after the recent revelations. We here at Movie TV Tech Geeks also have been very frustrated with Whoopi Goldberg who’s called guilty on others who weren’t found guilty in a court of law, but with Bill Cosby she’s decided that 40 some women are all lying and he’s being crucified. I can understand supporting a friend, but when that friend has got mountains of evidence against them, reality must sink in, even for someone like her.

Sadly, this is turning Whoopi Goldberg into an even bigger joke with some people now crudely commenting that she must be pissed that he never raped her so she’s lashing out in disbelief that he did it to all those other women but not her.

This week, star Lena Dunham also took to Twitter to praise Judd’s outspokenness on the topic. Lena reveals how proud she is to work with Judd, who is a producer of her hit HBO show Girls.
