This week’s celebrity gossip kicks off with the shocking news that WWE legend Hulk Hogan has been let go from the company after a tape surfaced in which he used a derogatory term while appearing on a radio show. In the superstar’s defense though, he was simply recounting a conversation he had with a fellow wrestler years ago. He’s been completely scrubbed from everything WWE, including WWE 2K16 as if he never existed.
In other celebrity gossip, by some absolute miracle Kylie Jenner recently graduated from an accredited high school. To celebrate this milestone in her life her mom threw her a surprise graduation party hosted by (surprise, surprise) Ryan Seacrest himself. This is either a huge accomplishment for a member of the Jenner/Kardashian clan or the school system’s woeful inability to determine who is worthy of graduation and who is not. Khloe Kardashian quickly went into defensive mode when someone insinuated that cocaine was being served at the graduation party. The rumors arose after an Instagram of the 31-year-old twerking went viral. In the video, a man can be seen in the frame taking an unknown substance out of a small container with his finger and putting it in his mouth.
“You guys will make up anything,” Khloe tweeted. “No! No one was doing coke at a graduation in broad day light with teenagers and 15 production cameras! We aren’t as wild as you want to believe.”
“We were taking Jell-O shots though and you have to scrape the rim of the shot glass w ur finger to loosen up the jello in order 2 take it,” she added. “Just say no to drugs kids! Drugs so not our style.”
More disturbing news from the Kardashian clan; Khloe is getting her own talk show on the FYI Network. The show will be called Kocktails with Khloe (and the odds are she has no idea that cocktails doesn’t actually start with the letter K.
This new talk show comes just in time to distract Khloe from her divorce from Lamar Odom, which has become official. Khloe first filed for divorce back in 2013.
On the heels of his breakup with Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick has to find a new way to support himself. So in true Hollywood fashion, he held a party in Las Vegas recently where fans could pay to hang out with him. For his troubles he was paid an undisclosed amount over $50,000.
The Kardashian/Jenner clan continues to make gossip headlines with the fact that Caitlyn (fka Bruce) is struggling with the fact that even though she is technically a woman now, she still has a man’s voice. She has publically stated that it is difficult for most people to understand a transition from one gender to the other and that she is trying to change that now.
Proving that Caitlyn is already making an impact on the entertainment world is Eminem’s recent freestyle rap performance where her name is mentioned. He made sure to state that when he includes a celebrity in one of his rap performances it’s usually not personal.
Sean Combs a.k.a. P Diddy, recently had to have surgery on his knee. He was photographed leaving a hospital, wheelchair bound, with crutches. The photograph was posted to his Instagram account along with a caption that said he delayed surgery for two years.
The latest celebrity Twitter feud between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj has reportedly come to an end. Taylor Swift lashed out at Nicki Minaj for talking badly about her on Twitter. She then retracted her lash out and said that she had misunderstood the meaning of Nicki’s tweets and that she was sorry she lashed out at her. Not that Nicki Minaj isn’t used to that. And unlike, Taylor Swift, who has friend Ed Sheeran in her corner, Nicki has no one in hers. To play a prank on Taylor and Nicki for having a Twitter spat, Ed Sheeran got into a comical Twitter spat with Bruno Mars.
Nick Cannon’s constantly busy work schedule has caught up with him as he recently landed in the hospital for exhaustion. Having been diagnosed with Lupus, Cannon has yet to slow down and put his health before his career (which isn’t half of what it was when he was married to Mariah Carey.) He wrote on his Instagram account that he needs to learn to slow down and rest more often but that he likens himself to a superhero to justify why he is always so busy.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are divorcing, reportedly because he has been cheating on her with an undisclosed fellow country music artist. Whether it’s true or not Blake’s PR people claim that Miranda cheated on him first. Once they signed their divorce papers Blake apparently ordered Miranda to get her pets out of the house the couple had been sharing.
MTV recently found themselves in hot water with the Parents Television Council after the network asked Miley Cyrus to host this year’s Video Music Awards ceremony. The Council released a statement saying that if Miley hosts the awards they won’t be able to allow their kids to watch it. No word on who MTV intends to choose instead.
Rumors are that Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid are dating and these rumors have been fueled partly by the fact that the two were spotted departing a NY to LA flight and whisked into a waiting car.
A year- long romance between Rita Ora and Ricky Hill recently ended. An inside source states that the couple made a mutual decision to part ways because work obligations were keeping them apart. Ora is also known for having dated Taylor Swift’s current boyfriend, Calvin Harris.
Taylor Swift recently gave props to Lady Gaga for the role she played in helping Taylor land a new boyfriend. Apparently Lady Gaga tweeted to Taylor that she was a sweetheart and her Prince Charming would come. And, according to Taylor, he has. This is evidenced by the fact that in recent interviews Calvin has gushed about his relationship with Taylor.
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe was recently spotted in an L.A. bar with his girlfriend and he entertained the crowd with a cover of “The Real Slim Shady.” His girlfriend cheered him on the whole time, but there has been no word as to how the crowd reacted to Daniel’s performance.
Wrapping up this week’s celebrity gossip, much to fans’ chagrin rumors are swirling that in light of recent events, including Zayn Malik leaving the band, that One Direction might be taking an extended break from making music together. In a recent interview with the UK magazine The Sun, music producer Simon Cowell stated that the band is in the position to be able to take a break from working for a while and that he hopes eventually they perform together again.
