Last Wednesday, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star suffered a mini stroke after flying back from performing on Dancing with the Stars. After several procedures in the hospital, the 37-year-old finally announced today that she has returned home.
It was revealed that Kim had suffered a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack), which is referred to as a mini stroke and often lasts several minutes. It happens when the blood supply to part of the brain is interrupted. While TIAs are not necessarily life threatening, one third of those who suffer a TIA are likely to suffer a full-on stroke later in life.
Zolciak explained the attack saying she felt numb on one side of her body and was unable to speak. Therefore, she was quickly rushed to the hospital.
Today, in a statement to E! News Kim said, “I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the past few days. I am now home with my family, resting and taking care of my health.”
Kim went on to say that she is still hopeful for her return to Dancing with the Stars, explaining, “I can’t express enough how much I love dancing and this whole experience, and I hope this will not be the end of dancing.
Dancing with the Stars’ network ABC has yet to comment on whether or not Kim will be returning to the show.
Zayn Malik has once again made One “Directioners” go crazy.
Late on Saturday, the former One Direction singer posted a shirtless picture of himself, cuddling up to a mysterious blonde woman. This picture comes just over a month after he announced his split with his fiancée, Perrie Edwards of Little Mix.

Since the picture is not captioned, nor does it contain any tags, fans were doing their best to guess who the mystery blonde was. Initially, fans were speculating that she is Gage Golightly, of the MTV series Teen Wolf. However, this speculation was quickly shot down when Gage took to Instagram to post a photo that read, “Hi everyone, just want to clarify that I am not the girl in the photo with Zayn Malik. But what a lucky girl! Love ya’ll – Gage”

Since Zayn and Perrie’s breakup, both stars have remained relatively private about the situation. Although Zayn did tweet a post saying, “You can’t do enough for some people, I guess,” which many assumed was aimed at his ex.

A source tells E! News that Perrie is doing well since the split, explaining, “[Perrie’s] friends are rallying around her. She’s doing fine. Her close friends have told her she’s better off without [Zayn]. He hasn’t treated her right for a long time.”
