New FIFTY SHADES OF GREY Clip Offers More Talk No Action

For readers of “Fifty Shades of Grey” readers liked Christian Grey since he seemed to be more a man of action over words, but after watching the these clips from the upcoming film, it seems more like he’ll talk you to death rather than just ravage you. This Grey seems like he’d never leave a mark on your body, but your eyes sure would be glazed over! Below you can see all the trailers and clips combined in chronological order of the book.

Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) has no problem letting Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) know exactly what her internship will entail with his intense stare as can be seen in the latest extended clip that debuted this morning on “Today”.

The clip you can see above shows the final moments of Anastasia’s first interview with Christian where he slowly pumps her for all kinds of information. For fans of the book, that also includes a little talk of English literature too. In the real world, he’s have a sexual harassment lawsuit on his desk in minutes, but the innocent Ana is slightly timid but intrigued. She doesn’t think she’d be a good fit in his company, but Mr. Grey obviously thinks he’s a great fit for her.

It’s been reported that the big screen adaptation of the steamy book will include twenty minutes of sex scenes, but you wouldn’t know it when you check out all the trailers and clips that have been released steadily over the past few weeks. Yesterday’s sneak peek clip showed Ana playing hardware shop clerk to Christian’s sexy customer who just wants some ‘rope’.

None of the clips or trailers show a lot of chemistry between the two leads, but at this point it really doesn’t matter since “Fifty Shades of Grey” has made history as the fastest selling R-rated movie on Fandango. Fingers are crossed that this film could match the steaminess and chemistry of Adrian Lynne’s “9 1/2 Weeks” while also elevating the original material. Focus Features is more than capable of making this into a quality romance film with a twist.

We’ve reported that director Sam Taylor-Johnson has kept everything about the film under very tight wraps and the cast has yet to see the finished film. The one that has slipped out that some fans were saddened by was the scene that involved a tampon. Sometimes even sanitary items can be too much for Hollywood.
