It’s Memorial Day weekend, but that isn’t stopping Real Housewives of Atlanta NeNe Leakes’ sister from call out her crocodile tears and when you’ve got a huge family like those Christian Duggars, there’s bound to a bad apple in the bunch and Josh Duggar turned out to be the one.
NeNe Sister Calls Her Out About Breaking Down On the RHOA Reunion
It was too good to be true. NeNe Leaks actually giving a damn and showing some kind of emotion over some other than shade and gossip. On part three of the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion, things got heated when Dr. Jeff was brought on stage. Somehow, the subject of NeNe’s mom and dad came up and she did a total 180, broke down crying and ran off the stage. Well, her estranged sister Kenya Sherman, is saying that it is all an act.
Sherman twitted during the reunion episode and was not shy about hiding what she thought of her sister’s display of fake emotion on screen.
“Dr Jeff she turn her back on her mom so these others don’t mean SHIT OK!!”
She apparently doesn’t like the fact that NeNe keeps telling the sob story about how her mother didn’t raise her. She further went on to retweet others who clearly were not fooled by NeNe’s antics.
“#RHOA Really Nene? Way to try to steal the show… now you’re an actress… playing the victim role. Not buying it… it’s fake.
I have to admit that when I saw it, I too was skeptical about it. She went from 0-100 real quick with it. In fact, a “celebrity bodyguard” who saw the whole thing go down on the reunion taping told The Real Mr. Housewives that Leaks pretty much “Scripted this with her ‘fake for TV Dr.’”
All I can say to this whole situation is why… just… why?
Kandi Burruss On NeNe’s Breakdown and Her Family’s Beef with Her Husband
Speaking about the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion, Kandi Burruss spoke on why she didn’t console NeNe with the rest of the housewives during her reunion breakdown.
“Overall, Nene and I have been arguing that whole day and I am not the person that she would have wanted to console her. And secondly, if the shoe was on the other foot, she would not have come to console me.”
For the record, I agree with her. I felt like her actions were in line with how she felt and it’s more important to be true to that than to be fake and pretend you care for the cameras.
“If I got up to console Nene, I would be fake. So I just chose to be real with myself.”
She wasn’t the only one by the. Claudia did not get up either.
Now that RHOA season 7 is over, that does not mean Kandi’s life is drama free because there is still the issue of her family not getting along with her husband Todd Tucker. Always about her money, she is doing a special called Kandi’s Ski Trip (Don’t know why that is a two part special but whatever) where we see her family accusing Kandi of neglecting them after she got married to Todd.
She explains and finally takes up for her husband (kind of) that she stopped going around her family so much when they got married because they were mean to him and he didn’t feel comfortable going around them.
It is obvious that they feel he is a gold digger but the truth is if Kandi is happy with him, they should leave it alone, accept him and let it be. It is their place to love and support her and it doesn’t seem like they are.
Josh Duggar Admits to Molesting Young Girls
What do you say when a person who, after touting his righteousness and that of his family’s and has made millions from a wholesome, “Godly” persona, has been found to be a child molester? Well if you are Mike Huckabee and other brainwashed conservatives, you stand by him. But the rest of us normal, level headed, non-double standard having folks aren’t having it.
Josh Duggar, one of the children of the ridiculous and “holier than thou” family who have made a killing off the fact that they have 19 and use some kind of religious ideology to support it, came clean that 12 years ago he confessed to his parents wrongdoing that he committed. The 19 and Counting star released this statement:
“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends…”
This is the thing that pisses me off. While Christian zealots like Huckabee and others rush to his side to show their support because “he’s sorry and has made amends for his sins,” these are the same damn people that will condemn a black person for their “wrongdoings” and not extend any kind of hand of restoration. Yes… I went there because it happens too fucking often.
Maybe because I grew up in an extremely religious organization and I have seen and known of people in leadership who confess one thing and make you feel guilty about small stuff but are hiding the fact that they molest little boys is why I feel a little too strongly about this situation. But the fact is, Josh Duggar does not deserve our sympathy. Whatever he loses as a result of this goes along with the territory of these kinds of situations…Plain and simple. And that’s all I’m going to say about that.
Josh Duggar’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who are named in the police report, also spoke out Thursday.
“Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong,” they said on Facebook.
“That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before. Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God.”
The “19 Kids and Counting” series began in 2008 when the Duggar children numbered 17. It’s one of TLC’s top-rated programs, and the show was heavily featured during a presentation to advertisers last month.
It’s unclear whether or not the show will go forward. Last season’s premier of “19 Kids and Counting” was the highest-rated debut yet, according to TLC.
But some note that the network cancelled “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” after a tabloid linked a character on the show to a convicted child molester.
TLC declined to comment on the Duggars’ statements Thursday.
