Vivica A. Fox dropped jaws on Bravo’s “What What Happens Live” when she suggested that 50 Cent (her ex from 2003) might have a preference for a little more testosterone in his men. Host Andy Cohen asked her more than once to clarify, and Fox was adamant in her belief that the rapper seemed like a ‘booty snatcher’ when he did his XXL cover magazine draped over a shirtless Soulja Boy.
WWHL’s other guest, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss was visibly shocked, but the soon to appear on “Empire” actress stayed calm and never wavered on her thoughts. She further clarified her stance. “I just remember there was [this VIBE cover] with and Soulja Boy that made me go ‘hmmm,’” she told the hosts and Kandi Burress and The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burress. “He just looked like a booty snatcher to me.”
She was referring to the November 2010 issue of XXL where the rapper’s face and head were covered in a white shroud and was coming up close to Soulja Boy Hanes underwear-clad rear end.
What’s interesting is that this all started when host Cohen got it wrong when he asked Fox about 50 Cent’s controversial comments about Lee Daniel’s “Empire’s” ratings going down because of the increased “gay stuff.” Fox was quick to respond by stating she thought 50’s remarks were a case of “the pot calling the kettle black,” going on to insinuate that her former boyfriend has not been honest about his own sexuality. 50 Cent’s publicist quickly contacted Cohen during the show to correct him in that his client took down his re-post after learning that it was anti-gay…after there was an uproar from the public, of course.
After Cohen asked if she thought he was gay when they were dating, Fox said: “No he’s not. I mean we had a great time. He just seems like he’s got something that’s not quite clear.” She was referring to the XXL cover with that one.
50 Cent and Soulja Boy have been very quick to slap back. Soulja Boy was first to hear of her comments and was just as bitchy with his response, which his good friend re-shared. He added his own two cents about letting her work his read end over.
Cohen did ask Fox if she was afraid of the fallout from her comments, but the always in charge actress said she had nothing to worry about. It’s certainly not the first time the 50 Cent Soulja Boy gay rumors have hit, and it certainly won’t be the last, especially since he’s coming across as pretty bitchy with all the Photoshopped bad images he can post about Fox. If it not true 50 Cent, just leave it alone. The more you bitch back, the bigger the bitch you look.
