Today in the rumor mill, we are back with the never-ending, ongoing antics of the rich and famous. From things their exes did to preachers needed multimillion-dollar transportation for Jesus, the madness never ceases.
Tiny Not Attending Mayweather Fight
Well, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle a.k.a T.I.’s wife says she will NOT be attending the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight set to take place this May. According to her, there is not a chance in hell that she will be in Vegas for it which more than likely has everything to do with her husband.
To refresh your memory, T.I. and Mayweather had a run in last February, which caused a huge fight, to say the least. All of this happened because the rapper turned reality TV star was sure that the boxer was screwing his wife (she didn’t help the situation either).
For obvious reasons, she is staying as far away from any sign that might be given to her boo that she supports Mayweather. It seems that she is respecting her man by not going and that’s a good thing. Being that they have reconciled from their issues, there is no need to stir the pot by hashing up old stuff right?
Creflo Dollar Wants You to Buy His New Plane
It is a sad thing when a man who is supposed to be a man of God goes to such measures to get what he wants. Such seems to be the case with popular televangelist Creflo Dollar who has asked his 200,000 followers to donate $300 a piece so that he can get a $65 million private jet for his ministry use.
This is unbelievable to me. Who the hell are you to think that you have the right, first of all, to request such a thing, and then to secondly, ask it of people who are looking to you to lead them to salvation, not the fucking poor house. How dare Creflo Dollar put out such a request.
Being a former church girl (I mean like all day everyday at church girl) I have seen men manipulate the people they lead and this is the ultimate. The thing about it though is that he obviously feels that he has the right to do such a thing. And to package the over the top request in the form of it being a necessity for his ministry to continue “doing good” is disgusting.
“We believe it is time to replace this aircraft so that our Pastors and staff can continue to safely and swiftly share the Good News of the Gospel worldwide…”
This is a fucking joke! You are telling me, Creflo Dollar, that you need your lay people to give you their hard earned cash so that you can buy a Gulfstream G650 plane in order for, “Pastors Creflo and Taffi and World Changers Church International can continue to blanket the globe with the Gospel of grace.”
How about you fly commercial like the rest of us damn it?
Ashanti on Nelly and Trust Issues
For those that didn’t know, singer Ashanti was in a 10-year relationship with rapper Nelly. Their love was no secret and they were out and about all the time together (off and on of course). It has now been two years since their break up and she is finally able to talk about just how much the relationship took its toll on her, particularly in the area of trust.
“I think sometimes when people have their own insecurities, it allows them to act out of character,” the 33-year-old performer said Friday on The Meredith Vieira Show. “I’ve been betrayed.”
This gives a look into how important it is to know yourself and understand the difference from a good relationship and a relationship of convenience. The best thing to do either way, is to make sure that you learn from the experience, whether good or bad.
Jermaine Dupri Says Ciara’s New Song is a Rip Off
So since it seems like this is just what you do when you are a famous singer, rumors are swirling that Ciara’s new song “I Bet” is a complete copy Usher’s hit song “U Got it bad.” Well this is according to record producer and artist Jermaine Dupri.
“Ciara’s new single is a complete rip-off of Usher’s ‘U Got It Bad… I’m clear on what I made and I’m clear on how music influences people and I’m clear on chord changes and how people move things. … It might not be as evident as the ‘Blurred Lines’ situation, but I believe the same thing happened to me.”
It is so crazy but literally after hearing him say this, I can so see how they are the same. I’m not saying that she ripped it, but when I first heard it, I was like, “Man this sounds like something.”
Durpi’s comments come on the heels of the court judgment against Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams who have been ordered to pay the family of Marvin Gaye $7.4 million for unlawfully sampling his “Gotta Give it Up” for their smash hit “Blurred Lines.”
