Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner A Thing?
The Biebs just seems to keep having the time of his life. With the recent celebration of his 12th … I mean 21st birthday, his Comedy Central Celebrity roast which brought about the return of his pet monkey you would think that he doesn’t really have time for love. But think again.
He has most recently been linked to Kendall Jenner (unofficially). They keep saying that they are “just friends” but we all know that is celebrity jargon for “it’s more than that and it’s also none of your business.” I don’t really get what the big fuss is all about anyway. The Jenner/Kardashian clan is always in the news and truthfully, I can’t tell Kylie and Kendall apart, so why would they not continue their attention whoring by just coming out to say that they are dating, screwing, having fun with one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors? It’s like, yea, now is a fine time to start caring about not putting your business out their for the whole world, you do it every other time.
In the end, I don’t really care if they are together or not, it’s just the principle of the matter. Don’t show us with your hands down your sister’s pants or vise versa (again, I don’t know which one is which) and then claim to be shy about your relationship with someone like JB.
Kendrick Lamar Gets Backlash for Light Skinned Fiancée
So this is a story that has been in the news within the past week and keeps getting attention. It is petty, it is stupid and it just shows how black people continue to be one of the main contributors to the divide in the black community.
Some dark skinned activist (really, what does that even mean) is bashing Kendrick Lamar for getting engaged to his high school sweetheart who happens to be a light skinned woman. This crazy chick is calling out the Compton born rapper saying he is a fake consciousness nigga and not about “the struggle” because he is not with a dark skinned sister. She goes on further to say that light skinned people are not as black as darker skinned people.
The fact that this woman (who I think is just trying to get more followers and her 15 minutes of fame) is bringing this up as an issue is a clear indication of what she thinks of her self. Why would she form her lips to say, essentially, that there are different levels of being black and it all has to do with the complexion of your skin? She is that dark skin sister that has always found it hard to get a man and instead of evaluating herself to fix her bum ass personality, she blames it on the color of her skin, thus causing her to create this victim complex and form this attitude about black men and light skinned woman that so many dark skinned woman have.
The core of her argument comes from self hate and that is sad because of instead of using the little bit of influence she has to further the cause of the black community and black women in general she is squandering it on a conversation that does nothing but further the agenda of the dominate society- destroy black people.
And that’s all I have to say about that.
Beyoncé and Jay Z Celebrate Their Anniversary In Hawaii
Bey and Jay seem to be going as strong as ever. They recently celebrated their seventh anniversary on Hawaii’s Big Island. They look to be having a great time which is really refreshing because let’s face it, people have so much to say about their relationship.
Regardless of what people think, they continue to show the world that they cannot be held back and what the media and bloggers think they know about their marriage is all rumors and here say. They are the prefect example of what it means to get yo money and to be a family. It is obvious that they care about each other enough to take time out of grinding and that speaks volumes.
Here’s to many, many more anniversary celebrations in exotic places together.
Wrestlers Sue World Wrestling Entertainment
Former wrestlers Big Russ McCullough, Ryan Sakoda and Luther Reigns (stage names) are suing World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for what they are calling “egregious mistreatment.”
The suit claims that WWE continues/continued to allow brutality in the ring knowing the damages it causes, like serious health issues including dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. They claim that “under the guise of providing entertainment” wrestlers have been subjected to extreme physical brutality for decades. The scripted and unrelentingly ruthless actions performed in the ring sells violence and promote a culture of extreme viciousness.
The suit goes on to further say that wrestlers were and are threatened to be stripped of their position if they refuse to work even though intense pain and injury.
This is heartbreaking because I grew up watching WWF and had no idea the entertainment I got from seeing the Stone Cold Stunner was causing so many health problems. This all needs to be addressed because nothing is worth losing your life over.
