‘The Expendables 3‘ movie might have gone through a bit of online piracy, but that won’t get these old timers down, and you can be sure that this franchise will still hold strong at the box office when it hits theaters August 15. Naturally, many sites are crying the woes of online piracy and how it’s killing the box office, but in truth, crap movies are what are killing the box office. Not to mention that with 4K TVs, you can now get that wonderful theater experience at home. Online piracy will always continue, but most times, people still want to see an event movie like this on the big screen, not the DVD quality that was leaked last week.
This is one franchise I’ve always enjoyed and can’t wait to see the latest entry that’s filled to the brim with 80’s & 90’s action stars. The latest clip from the film shows were the evil villain Mel Gibson has kidnapped Sylvester Stallone‘s proteges, and now it’s up to those old timers to kick butt and blow stuff up. This is what this film is about along with bringing back those memories of decades back being a kid and seeing these guys really kick the crap out of villains without breaking a sweat or losing their breath. Now, we watch as they hold on to their chests hoping for one more punch before their ticket gets punched for good.
Below are also the latest character posters for the film. There’s a lot of them too!

In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team come face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.
