2014 saw a lot of technology advancements, with new smartphones and creative gadgets, but as technology advances on a daily basis, 2015 looks better than ever when it comes to tech advancement. Here are our predictions for technology in 2015.
This is a for-sure update of Windows that we have all already heard about. While Windows 10 features are still behind the curtains, Microsoft has ensured that a preview will be available soon enough. Microsoft also claims that Windows 10 will be a single platform for all devices, which means that the OS will be the same for all Windows platforms (phones, tablets, laptops, PC,s and Xbox One).
The Apple Watch is already so hyped up but we have yet to see what fantastic innovation it will bring other than just being an Apple wearable. Health and fitness tracker is going to be a must for the Apple Watch but in all essence, we are unaware of what it will bring.
Large and Durable Smartphones and “Phablets”
The large trend isn’t going down anytime soon and Apple with it’s iPhone 6 Plus knows it too. Both Apple and famous Android manufacturers like Samsung will be running for the top position, and big phones with durable screens and waterproof protection will become a norm.
Cheaper 3D Printers
While this is largely confusing prospect and the need for 3D printers is hardly that high, 3D printers will start to become more and more common thereby coming in reduced prices.
Many homes in 2015 will go “smart” – with new apps, gadgets, and sensor technology devices, many manufacturers will bring out releases that make home living efficient and smart. We have already seen a major hint of this with many home gadgets released in 2014 but 2015 will be the year they strike home (no pun intended) and really earn a mainstream title.
Virtual Gaming More Life-Like Than Ever
With sharp headphones that pull you in and graphics that transform your screen into a real-life 3D game, 2015 is going to put a big grin on gamers’ faces. They will experience technology that allows them to really get IN the game.
Basic Functioning PCs Get Cheaper
Great news for all those who appreciate sturdy PCs and laptops, 2015 will see a drop in prices and people will be able to get proper functioning, fairly recent laptops and PCs for prices that are extremely low. However, Mac’s will remain as pretty a penny as ever, so big spenders have nothing to worry about.
Advanced and Wearable Cameras
Camera technology isn’t left behind and 2015 will see much advancement when it comes to cameras. Smartphones will opt for 3D image capturing, the trend of which has already started. Wearable cameras will become more common and new camera tech such as 360 degree image and video capture, self POV capture, etc. will rise.
