Prince William and Kate Middleton’s second child, daughter Charlotte, was christened Sunday afternoon at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk.
Donning an all white Alexander McQueen ensemble, topped off with a fascinator, Kate looked glowing as she wheeled Charlotte into the church. Alongside Kate and Charlotte was William in a navy suit and son George, who was wearing a more casual red and white tee shirt and shorts combo.
As for Charlotte, she wore a replica of the royal gown that has been in the Royal family since 1841, which is the same gown that George wore during his christening in 2013. William, however, got to wear the original gown at his 1982 christening.
Both William and Kate selected five of their closest friends and family to join them at the ceremony. This did not include the attendance of William’s brother Harry, who was also missing from George’s ceremony two years back.
Kensington Palace took to twitter to show off some throwback photos of the original gown that Charlotte donned a replicate of.
They also revealed that the stroller that Charlotte was being pushed in by Kate was the same previously used by Prince Edward and Prince Andrew.

It’s not only the Royals who have the opportunity to sit on a throne this week. Foo Fighters’ front man David Grohl made himself comfortable in a throne made of guitar pieces, amps and stage lights, on-stage at a Fourth of July concert in Washington, D.C.
Dave is recovering from a broken leg, which happened during a performance less then a month ago. He was injured after accidentally falling offstage during a June 12 show in Sweden, where he ended up with a broken fibula. He was right away treated to and actually continued performing within minutes of the fall.
Dave later found out he would need surgery and therefore his band was forced to cancel their remaining European tour dates last month. However, Dave decided this wouldn’t stop him from taking the stage in D.C. for the Independence Day celebrations.
July 4 was the 20th anniversary of the debut of the band’s self-titled album, so it was surely a special performance.
Wearing a purple cast, David gave a killer performance despite his immobility.
In seemingly good spirits, the Foo Fighters took to twitter to thank D.C., accompanied with a picture of David on his rock n’ roll throne.

Fourth of July wasn’t simply for celebrating Independence Day for actress Vanessa Williams. The 52-year-old star decided it was the perfect day to also celebrate her love and wed fiancé Jim Skrip.
William’s teased the ceremony on social media where she tweeted about her “road trip for the holiday weekend.”
The couple’s engagement was officially announced in September when Vanessa showed off her ring on the Queen Latifah Show. Going on to tell the host that she was celebrating turning 50, rehearsing for Broadway and her new engagement.
This is Vanessa’s third marriage, as she was previously married to Roman Hervey II and basketball player Rick Fox.
Congratulations to Vanessa and her new husband, Jim!
