This week’s celebrity gossip includes new love in the air for Pitch Perfect’s Rebel Wilson. The Australian actress met fellow actor and comedian Mickey Gooch Jr, thanks to friends the two have in common. The couple has been spotted in both New York and L.A. in recent days. Wilson told Australia’s version of Elle magazine that it is hard for her to maintain a relationship and that she prefers to keep her personal activities private from her fans.
Kim Kardashian is speaking out about the fact that when she and Kris Humphries ended their relationship she didn’t begin dating Kanye West until six months later. She confessed that when she first met Kanye, she and he were both in relationships with other people, so even though she was attracted to him she didn’t act on it. After her breakup with Kris Humphries she called Kanye and he invited her to his Paris fashion show, which she attended. According to Kim that was when the sparks started flying between the two of them.
In other Kanye West gossip, once again he can’t keep his big mouth shut. The foul mouthed singer publically expressed anger over the fact that when he performed at this year’s Billboard Music Awards roughly half of what came out of his mouth was censored. His representative released a statement saying that the lyrics they censored during Kanye’s performance of “Black Skinhead” and “All Day,” weren’t even offensive ones.

…This season’s Dancing With the Stars winner, Rumer Willis (daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore in case you’ve been living under a rock and don’t already know that,) took home the trophy. In a U.S. Weekly interview Rumer said that she wants anyone who lacks self -confidence to learn from her triumphant win. She gave a lot of credit for winning the trophy to Val, the fan favorite choreographer/dance teacher that worked with her throughout the season.
Speaking of Demi Moore, her ex -husband Ashton Kutcher, who is now married to Mila Kunis is speaking out against the New York Post after they published pictures of the couple’s seven month old daughter. Using Twitter, Kutcher posted a message to his followers stating that he wanted his child’s identity kept a secret in order to keep her safe.
Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol has reportedly called off her planned wedding to race car driver Dakota Meyer. According to a statement released by the elder Palin her daughter simply doesn’t want to rush into marriage and will wed Meyer when the time is right. It was implied by Sarah Palin that if the two rushed into a marriage it would fall apart but if they took their time they could make the marriage work. A large part of me calls BS on this.
Proving Christina Aguilera is multi- talented the singer recently made viewers of “The Voice” laugh when she posed as other musical artists and pretended to audition for a spot as a judge on the show in the persona of singers such as Cher, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. Aguilera performed these parodies as part of the show’s season finale.
During the recent filming of one of her music videos Taylor Swift insisted on being her own stuntwoman. At one point during filming Swift came crashing through a wall while it exploded (which she was supposed to do) and fell on the floor (which she wasn’t supposed to do.)Owning up to her fall she shared a video of the incident online and reassured her fans that she was OK after the fall.
The retirement of David Letterman from his late night show has his fellow talk show hosts saying goodbye to their longtime peer. On this Monday night’s episode of “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” the host had some emotional words for Letterman. Fallon declared that Letterman is courageous and encouraged him to enjoy his retirement.
Earlier in the week frequent Late Night with David Letterman guest Bill Murray popped out of a cake presented to the TV host and promptly gave Letterman a great big hug. The two then drank from a bottle of vodka together.
Long time animal rights activist Pam Anderson recently shot an ad supporting PETA. The ad depicted Anderson in the same pose as the famous shower scene from Psycho. The ad campaign encourages people to become vegans.
Thursday’s Red Nose Day Telethon, which will air live on NBC, just signed heartthrob Robert Pattinson to its lineup. The telethon is to raise money for underprivileged children and will include stars like Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts, Jodie Foster, Jennifer Garner and Ana Kendrick.
Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II recently attended the world famous Chelsea Flower Show, which takes place once a year in London. The crowd reportedly warmly welcomed the two royal attendees. My only question is, how many of the people in that crowd were secretly undercover security guards mingling with everyday citizens?
In celebrity baby news, Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meesler is expecting her first child along with husband Adam Brody. The couple was spotted in Los Angeles last weekend having lunch at a local restaurant. Meesler’s baby bump was reportedly noticeable and the actress made no attempt to conceal it.
Bill Cosby is falling deeper and deeper into legal trouble as actress Janice Dickenson has now filed a defamation lawsuit against him. The lawsuit stems from Dickenson’s accusation stating that she suffered emotional distress because of Cosby. Dickenson’s lawyer has publically stated that the defamation lawsuit stems from Bill Cosby’s representatives accusing Dickenson of lying about an alleged rape she suffered at the hands of the now 77 year old actor/comedian.
