Cape Fear: A father will fight to the end of the earth to help protect his family and a perfect example of it exists in the classic thriller Cape Fear. The plot line is simple, but the tension is constant. A lawyer finds his family being stalked by a man he once helped put in jail. Some of the ending feels dated and a bit corny, but the writing is still top notch and it holds up as great entertainment by today’s standard. The updated film directed by Martin Scorsese is also a great choice to watch with dad as well.
