Not a good week for me on DraftKings and some signs point to this not being great one for DraftKings as a company. I had my clock cleaned during week 13, while the company itself continued their wait for a decision from a New York judge
Being verbal punching bags for angry fantasy owners comes with the paycheck in the NFL. Players have grown accustomed to being treated as pawns in the great chess matches of fantasy fanatics over the years
There was a lot of DraftKings news this week. with The New York Times seemingly making it their mission to paint daily fantasy sports as the devil incarnate.
Bad news. You are not likely to win a million dollars on FanDuel or on DraftKings. The sheer odds are stacked against you worse than a Tom Brady, Gronk, Edelman combo against the Jags before #11 went down with a broken wheel.
This is gonna hurt me to write, but FanDuel really screwed up. Some documents they have entered into evidence in their lawsuit against the state of New York in order to keep operating there are quite damning.
First it was online poker. Now it's daily fantasy sports that's caught in the crosshairs of the New York Mafia. The Attorney General of New York State Eric Schneiderman has ordered FanDuel and DraftKings to stop taking bets from New Yorkers.
It looks like the best way to get paid through DraftKings will be the inevitable class action lawsuit that is being set up as I type this out. I’m guessing some lawyer in a cheap suit that advertises right before “Five year old Rudy’s” father is determined on The Maury Povich Show is crafting some legal nets to catch a few million from FanDuel and DraftKings.
Big sigh of relief for America. The United States Congress has made it their business to save us illiterate, knuckle dragging, DFS morons from DraftKings and FanDuel.
