Finally it is worth asking the question: will Apple still pull something from up its sleeve on Cyber Monday? Having sat out Black Friday the answer appears to be ‘no’. I wouldn’t rule out some deals on refurbished devices or gift cards, but frankly such is Apple’s profitability at the moment that it doesn’t need to get involved in a price war with its own retail partners.

Should you be worried about new Apple devices before Christmas? No. A second generation Apple Watch is due in April, but all the company’s major product launches have now taken place and you shouldn’t expect the iPhone 7, new iPads or a new Apple TV before Q3 2016.
