Cyber Monday early sales have been going most of the holiday weekend merging with Black Friday, but as we all know, the best deals will be hitting throughout the day. Usually, the closer to the end of the day is when the really great ones hit, but don’t forget many places, like Amazon, will be keeping Cyber Monday going all week long. Heck, Amazon basically turned Black Friday into a 31-day saleathon.
Cyber Monday is fast approaching, and many of Amazon’s and Walmart’s sales are already underway. Now it is Best Buy’s turn to reveal its deals. FYI, if we found another place had the item cheaper, we placed that link in for you.
Like last year, we’ve done a huge amount of research, reviewing and just spotting the hottest deals for our readers, and you can check all the articles here as there’s plenty covering every aspect you can think of. It’s our way of giving back to our faithful readers, plus most of the team here love anything tech so digging out the best deals was quite their dream come true. Keep checking the Cyber Monday deals page as they’ll change through the day and week.
A coup this Cyber Monday for Best Buy is it has actually undercut Amazon on several items due to lower requirements to quality for free shipping (if you aren’t a Prime subscriber). There are also some strong savings on premium Samsung TVs that are worth the extra outlay:
Echo Dot for $39.99 (save $10) – product link – the same price as Amazon, but a red hot item with free shipping (non-Prime subscribers need $49 for free shipping)
Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote for $29.99 (save $10) – product link – as above
Fire Tablet for $33.33 (save $16.66) – product link – as above
Fire HD 8 for $59.99 (save $30) – product link – as above
Free Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition with PlayStation 4 Pro ($399.99) or PlayStation 4 Slim ($249.99) – product link – a $50 discount on the PS4 Slim while the PS4 Pro is retail price but both bundle a free game
Samsung – 55-inch 4K Ultra HD LED Curved TV for $699.99 (save $300) – product link – premium brand, strong discount, great user ratings from customers
Samsung – 60-inch 4K Ultra HD LED TV for $1,199.99 (save $500) – product link – not cheap, but this is a high-class model with great ratings
Cyber Monday TV tip: always remember to check the specific TV model when retailers release them before making a purchase. Even the best manufacturers have weak models in their line-up that you are better off avoiding, so do your research.
Some of these deals are familiar from Black Friday and since other retailers have them, but they remain solid deals:
Amazon Echo for $139.99 (save $40) – product link – matches Amazon’s (excellent) offer
Free Select Controller with 1TB Xbox One (save $50) – product link – 1TB offer is strong, but not you won’t get free controller with the 500GB version
Google Home for $99 (save $30) – product link – widely available elsewhere, but a hot product. We’ve tested it, and Google loves to toss out a product quickly and then dump it after a couple of years. Very frustrating as this could be a great product, but it causes way more frustration than it’s worth.
Samsung – 40-inch 1080p LED HDTV $247.99 (save $82) – product link – not a premium model, but well rated and very popular
Samsung – 49-inch 4K Ultra HD TV for $749.99 (save $50) – product link superb TV but a small saving
DJI – Phantom 3 Standard Quadcopter for $399.99 (save $100) – product link
Treat With Caution
Watch out for these deals; they can either be beaten elsewhere or are not even sales in the first place!
Save $100 with iPhone and Select Beats Wireless Headphones – product link – not a big saving when pushing users to buy specific headphones (I’d steer clear of Beats) and not up to the $250 gift card offers from Black Friday
LG – 50-inch 4K Ultra HD TV for $649.99 (no discount) – product link – listed as an offer, but this is the standard retail price
Canon imageCLASS MF217w Wireless Black-and-White All-In-One Printer for $209.99 – product page – standard retail price
