Mo’Nique is the REAL Cookie
I guess Mo’Nique just needs some air time because she is still talking about her “misfortunes” in Hollywood. Not too long ago, she stunned everyone by telling The Hollywood Reporter that she has been blackballed in Tinseltown and is why we have not seem much of her lately. Then, when Lee Daniels opened up on CNN to Don Lemmon about the whole situation, she started a little beef with him. Now, she is still in the “spotlight” this time claiming that she was actually supposed to play Cookie on the hit show “Empire.” There are so many reasons why that is hard to believe. I mean, can you really imagine anyone else other than Taraji. P. Henson playing that role? She owns it. To top it all off, Empire’s co-creator Danny Strong spoke to the situation saying that Mo was NEVER offered the role of Cookie. According to Strong, her name came up when talking about possible actresses to fill the shoes of Cookie, but she was never “considered” for it. Hmmmm, I wonder what she is going to claim was stolen from her next. Probably the role of Annalise Keating from How To Get Away With Murder.
Chris Brown’s Secret Baby
Breezy has a little nine months old daughter. Who would have known? The baby’s mother is a 31 year old model named Nia who has known Brown for several years. While they are not romantically linked anymore (supposedly) they are reportedly on good terms and Brown is more than thrilled to be a daddy.
Karrueche Tran Gives the Deuces
So, with her on again off again love affair with Chris Brown, it is no wonder that Karrueche Tran is finally saying good bye to the singer and all his cheating ways. After the story broke about his little bundle of joy, Tran tweeted and I quote (at 10:26 this morning to be exact):
“Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me.”
You really can’t blame her. All that she has already been through with this man, she should have left and stayed away a very long time ago. I mean yea he can sing and I probably wouldn’t mind him putting me to sleep at night, but you can only take so much as a woman. Glad she finally said enough is enough. Now I would how RiRi is going to deal with this.
Rihanna and Leo
Speaking of Rihanna, the rumor around town is that she and A-List actor Leonardo DiCaprio are an item. They were spotted together at her birthday party and pics from the event were leaked which has caused some issues for Leo because he doesn’t like the fact that they are being circulated. Hmmmm I wonder why. We all know that he is super private about who he is dating, let along screwing. So, being that the pics have made their rounds on the internet, good ole Leo has launched an investigation into who from the party leaked the pics. Yea because that’s going to happen. Ugh famous people. Just accept the fact that you are famous and go on about your business. Life will be so much easier for you if you did.
Iggy Azalea Glad Not to Win Best Rap Grammy
You know you have to really hate your life to be glad not to win a Grammy. That’s what rapper Iggy Azalea is saying about not taking home this year’s award for best rap album.
“I did not want to win that award. I never thought I’d be nominated ever… My speech would’ve been like, ‘Fuck this I don’t want it! Take it! Get it away from me.”
Her happiness at losing to Eminem is based on the fact that she is already so highly disliked by a large population of people, particularly, hip hop fans. But of course you know losing didn’t stop people from giving it to her either. I mean can you blame fans though? In all honesty, when she raps, it just doesn’t… feel right. It is a lose, lose situation for the Australian born artist because either way, she can’t get any love.
Seinfeld Actor Dies
For all the Seinfeld lovers, Daniel von Bargen, the man who played George’s boss Mr. Kruger has passed away. Apparently Bargen had a history of suicide attempts, but it is not immediately known if his death is indeed due to his taking his life. It is always so sad and interesting to me when I hear of famous people being unhappy or taking their lives. Us common folk look at them and think they have everything in the world, how can they possibly be sad. But it just goes to show that things are not always what they seem and we should not pass judgment.
