UPDATE: 11/14/2016

The threesome got adopted all together. A wonderful family didn’t want to split these cuties up so they took all three of them home!

Want to know what’s better than one adorable doggy? Three, of course! This week we are so excited to feature three adoptable pups, anxiously waiting to find their forever home. As many of our loyal readers know, here at MovieTVTechGeeks, we’ve been teaming up with North Shore Animal League America to feature adoptable pets on our site. On our “Adopt Me” page, we have featured countless pets – both cats and dogs – who have since found a loving family to call their own. We are so pleased to be continuing to raise awareness for pet adoption and find homes for even more pets!

Even if you don’t live in the area, you can still contact North Shore Animal League, and they can guide you to the closest no-kill rescue shelter in your area for a similar dog or even arrange travel arrangements. If you have a friend you think would be interested, pass these articles on as we are working even harder this year to get even more pets adopted than last year.

North Shore Animal League America, which is the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization. Since 1944, the organization has strived towards achieving its ultimate vision: “To put an end to animal cruelty and euthanasia and to create a world in which all companion animals find compassionate permanent homes.”

To date, North Shore has helped find homes for over 1,000,000 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. With their main headquarters in Port Washington, New York, North Shore provides crucial resources such as a pet adoption center, a pet health center that offers affordable veterinary care and much more.

Now…please help us give a warm welcome to Shavae, Bon Temp and Sammy!

Shavae, Bon Temp and Sammy are three adorable furries who were fortunately rescued by North Shore Animal League America. They were brought into the shelter following the Louisiana floods and North Shore’s staff immediately noticed the trio’s close bond. Seeing their love for one another, North Shore subsequently made it their mission to find a forever home that can house all three of the pups.

Now lets get to know each one of these cuties…

The smallest, and also the youngest, of the bunch is Shavae. She is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix, with a light brown short coat of fur. She has small droopy ears and a gaze that will melt just about anybody’s heart.

Bon Temp is a 3-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix, who is the middle pup when it comes to size and age. His fur color closely resembles his Pug relatives, while his cute little snout and body bears some resemblance to his Chihuahua side.

The biggest, and also the oldest, of the pack is Sammy. He is a 7-year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix. He has a mainly black and brown coat of short fur, with a bit of white on his chest and toes.

Rosie Tombolo, the Kennel Manager at North Shore Animal League America notes, “Shavae, Bon Temp and Sammy are so friendly and loveable. We consider them the Three Musketeers here at North Shore Animal League America. They do everything together: go for walks, eat together, sleep curled up on top of each other in their bed; you name it, whatever they are doing, they are joined at the hip”

While they are a package deal, all three of these little pups are very well mannered. In fact, Shavae, Bon Temp and Sammy are all housebroken – meaning they know where to do their business. In addition, North Shore also notes that they are fairly quiet dogs. it is suggested that they go to a home with children (if any) who are at least 8 years of age. The three amigos would likely thrive and feel more comfortable in a more mature family, as they are quite the relaxed crew. If you are interested in adopting Shavae, Bon Temp and Sammy, and already have a dog at home, North Shore recommends that you bring your existing family canine to the shelter to meet the trio before adopting them.

Moreover, Shavae, Bon Temp and Sammy have lots of love for each other, but also have lots of love that they are ready to be share with their forever family. This trio will surely breathe a whole new life into any home they are welcomed into. So let’s help North Shore find these three best buddies the loving home they deserve!
