Although Louis Tomlinson and his fellow One Direction band-mates have yet to come forward and address the news that Louis is becoming a father, that didn’t stop their mentor Simon Cowell from commenting on the situation.
In an interview with The Sun, Simon reveals that he has talked to Louis, 23, about the news and discussed what the future may have in store for him and One Direction.
Simon tells the media outlet:
“I said to him, ‘you man up. You’re fortunate because you’re in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry too much about that, but I also told him, ‘I’ve received bad calls in my life but this is not one of them. This is your business but I’m here for you.”
Simon who recently became a father himself, made sure that Louis knew that this was something to be celebrated. Adding,
“[Louis] didn’t kill anyone. He got someone pregnant. It happens ever day all over the world. Again, Louis has got great family around him and, look, it’s a plus, not a negative.”
Sources have told E! News that although the news came as a surprise to Louis he is “super excited about it,” and is ready to be a “hands on” father.
The question that is on all “Directioners” minds is: What about One Direction?
Simon addressed this, telling The Sun, “In terms of the band, they’ve got enough hits now they can take some time off and do some other stuff they want to do. Then I hope they’ll have a bit of time apart and want to get back together again. It’s a fun job, but it’s absolutely their decision.”
With Zayn Malik leaving One Direction, and now Louis becoming a father, it’s been a big year for One Direction fans and it’s safe to say some of them are not taking all the news too well.

It’s been alleged that Louis is planning to purchase a gated home for Briana and their child in order to ensure maximum privacy once the baby is born, so he could very well have been touring potential properties.
Louis split with girlfriend Eleanor Calder earlier this year after four years together and it wasn’t long before the star was spotted enjoying nights out in Los Angeles with a string of different girls at various nightclubs and parties.
Briana, who is alleged to be around 12 weeks pregnant with his child was a constant fixture, however, and the pair are said to have enjoyed a brief relationship in May.
The LA-based budding stylist and 1D heartthrob are no longer a couple but they are thought to be expecting their child in 2016.
Tomlinson is already back on tour with One Direction so you can be sure he’ll get plenty of baby items tossed at him while singing certain songs.
After four years of marriage, country music stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have announced they are getting divorced.
The former couple released a statement saying:
“This is not the future we envisioned and it is with a heavy heart that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
Blake Shelton, 39, wed Miranda Lambert, 31, back in 2011 and since than they have become one of the most powerful couples in country music.
However, according to TMZ, Blake filed the divorce documents a while ago, which makes sense seeing that they were last photographed together back in April (at the 50th American Country Music Awards).
Many people are surprised by their announcement, as just a few months ago, Lambert opened up to E! News about how they make their relationship work, saying, “…We make sure that our time together matters, so when we’re apart, it’s not really a big deal because we know when we’re together, we’re really together.”
Unfortunately, while the couple undoubtedly had its share of good times together, they were not immune to controversy. The two were constantly on the cover of tabloids claiming they were divorcing, fighting and even that Shelton had cheated on Lambert.
Nonetheless, up until now, it seemed the two defied these rumors, even poking fun at them, as seen in their 2013 twitter exchange.

Although Blake and Miranda do not share any children together, this break-up will no doubt be difficult for both country stars (as well as the couple’s die-hard fans).
It looks like Shelton is using his brand of humor to deal with the breakup, joking on Twitter: “Just got off the treadmill. This calls for a drink. Bitch…”
